SPÉCIAL! JOUR COMMÉMORATIF, 27-30 mai. Charmante maison, située au bout d'une impasse calme, offre une retraite paisible à quelques pas de la rivière Kiawah et du parc Night Heron. Des portes avant doubles et un large porche avant vous invitent dans cette maison de plage de Low Country bien aménagée de 2 800 pieds carrés. Salon et salle à manger ouverts agrémentés de parquet, de portes de traverse et de lambris donnant sur un grand porche grillagé. La cuisine bien équipée comprend des armoires vitrées et un accès pratique à la salle à manger.

Une piscine d'eau salée privée qui peut être chauffée en hiver, permet de se détendre pendant votre séjour. Une douche extérieure avec banc et intimité, idéalement située près de la piscine et de l'allée.

Située au premier étage, la suite principale avec lit king-size offre un accès à la véranda invitante. Sa baignoire confortable comprend deux lavabos, une baignoire surdimensionnée et une douche séparée. Les clients trouveront les chambres du deuxième étage charmantes avec accès à une magnifique terrasse donnant sur un cadre boisé. À cet étage, nous avons un autre roi avec salle de bain privée (pack n play situé dans le dressing), une chambre queen, deux lits jumeaux et un petit bureau / chambre avec un grand lit gigogne et une commode robuste.

Six minutes en vélo de la plage, ou garez-vous dans le parc Night Heron à proximité et traversez la plage. Il existe de nombreuses pistes cyclables pour profiter pendant votre séjour à différents points de l'île.

Il se trouve à courte distance en voiture de plusieurs terrains de golf, Charleston et d'autres points d'intérêt à proximité.

Great rental with a central location

We were in Kiawah for a wedding and Suzan's home was a perfect match for our stay. The house has a central location on the island and the pool and living room were perfect spaces to relax in between wedding events.

Great house on Kiawah Island

We had an amazing stay at this property! The house comfortably fit our big group, and it had great amenities (pool, grill, porch, etc.). The house is also located in a great spot—close to the beach, tennis courts, golf courses, and markets. Throughout the planning process and trip, Suzan, the host, was very communicative and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

House was perfect

Beds were great, kitchen supplies re: pots, pans, plates etc., as well as bathroomsupplie were more than adequate. Owner requested all food be put in plastic bin, but there was only one and it was full of spices. Property manager was very responsive

Great house!

The house is located at the end of a street and so quiet and peaceful. Very spacious and roomy. We are a group of college friends and greatly enjoyed the screened in porch and pool. We rented beach bikes and it was only a short ride to the beach. Really a great house!!

Cousin Getaway

Susan’s property was a perfect home for our vacation. 45 minutes from the Charleston airport it was an easy drive to the quiet neighborhood the home is in. The home was comfortable, had a nice pool and is a 10 minute bike ride to the beach.

We truly enjoyed the house looks just like the pictures even better. We thought the daybed was in the room with twin beds but they was separate room. That's makes the stay even more awesome. The neighbors were friendly and nice. We felt welcome and we will book again. Thanks 😊!

Wonderful Stay

We have been staying at Kiawah for 25 years, and this house was perfect for our family. We traveled with three children (1, 2, and 4) and we were especially appreciative of the many ways the property was hospitable to families through things such as a baby gate and pack and play. The property owner and manager were incredibly communicative, and we appreciated the renter’s manual provided in advance. While not beachfront, we also found the beach to be very easily accessible. The screened in porch was also a huge plus. Five stars and would gladly stay here again!

GREAT ROOMY PLACE

All good except the shampoo, soap and conditioner was low in a few bathrooms needing filled. The fan and tv remotes were switched around from room to room leaving you to solve the puzzle. In general yes, I would rent again without question. The good outweighed the bad. a positive experience staying in KIAWAH.

Beautiful, Cozy Home

My wife and I stayed just one night here. We loved it. The house was very clean, well lit and in a beautiful neighborhood. I have 0 complaints. The only odd thing was that they are very proud of their family, apparently, and there were pictures all over the home. It felt a bit like I was staying in someone else’s home rather than renting a space for a night. But, it’s hard to fault anyone for being proud of their family. So, again - no gripes. Well worth the $.

Great place to stay

Awesome stay! Close to the beach and a great pool in the backyard! We are locals who enjoy the state beaches. House was very clean. Had to call the maintenance guy to fix the sump pump for the pool cover and he was there in no time to fix it. We would most definitely stay here again. Only a few small issues. We arrived 30 minutes after check-in time and the house was not ready. The refrigerator is small to store food for six for a week but there is a grocery store on the island. The upstairs beds seem a little outdated as they felt like old spring beds. The pool side lounge chairs had rotten legs and we could not use them. Overall we would rate this an A rental and would return in the future. Did I mention the pool in the backyard was awesome!

As Described

This was a cozy well appointed home in Kiawah. Great kitchen set-up and good grill. Comfy beds and small but useable bathrooms. Back porch is comfy and we used most mornings and every night. Neighborhood and neighbors are quiet (except for whippoorwill,) Improvements include 1) pool is small and pool deck is under appointed and uninviting. 2) Master bath main plumbing is clogged and slow 3) Owners managing it from afar (great communication from them) but their cleaning staff is not maintaining grounds and outside areas as much as they should 4) front porch and upper back porch are sparsely furnished. Entire home is 40 years old so as long as you understand that - comfy rental.

Amazing screened-in porch

We loved hanging out on the huge porch. It was perfect for eating, reading and playing games. Bikes are a must for getting to the beach and cruising around the island.

Family vacation

The house was wonderful for our 7 adults and 2 children under 2. The beds were comfortable the baths were complete clean and had great towels shampoo conditioner and bath soap. The kitchen was well equipped clean and workable. The large screened porch was fabulous for dining and entertainment. The pool was essential for our group and used every day. Ample storage for 7 bikes in the garage and a 5 minute bike ride to the beach. It was a wonderful experience. Kiawah is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation

The absolute BEST VRBO vacation spot we've found!

We just completed our fourth trip to this Kiawah property and every year, it's the highlight of our year. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and Kiawah's Freshfield Village giving you everything you need for a relaxing time. The ocean, great restaurants, cute shopping, all in an ideal setting. But what sets this spot apart from any other is the house. Suzann has created the ultimate spot for relaxation and peace. The decor, the amenities, everything you want to be perfect, always is and this is one of the few spots we've seen that the pictures don't do the space justice. In particular, what the pictures can't show is how quiet the back porch is and how private the pool is. You're truly in your own world to simply breathe and enjoy time with people you're with. (And in our case, that's time together as a family that you can't put a price on.) The home is always spotless, the property is meticulously maintained, and we're already counting down the days until our trip next year. Thank you Suzan as always for letting us stay here and we'll see you in 2023! :)

Perfect for large family getaway

This house was a fantastic find for our extended family gathering for our son’s wedding. It is very well equipped, comfortable and nicely appointed. The owner is very accommodating and responds quickly to questions. Five stars all the way around.

Suzan Murphy teaches finance at The University of Tennessee (Knoxville). Greg Scates just retired from the PCAOB in Washington, DC. Kerrie Scates is a stay-at-home mom who also coaches basketball (Clifton, VA).

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought this property sight unseen, but we had both vacationed in Kiawah for years and knew we wanted to own a home here. This house is wonderful. It has a wonderful feel to it--very well constructed and maintained. We are always updating the property to keep it current including major improvements this spring.
