Our historic craftsman style bungalow is recently updated in boho style with a modern kitchen & a roomy open floor plan. Guests will enjoy a quiet walk through this nationally recognized community known for architectural delights, local shops & eateries. It is only a few minutes from Bishop Arts!!!! It's also close to the downtown Dallas museums & restaurants, beautiful city parks including the zoo, a variety of outdoor venues, & the best shopping malls in the state. This lovely home & the Oak Cliff neighborhood are both dog & kid friendly. Backyard is fully fenced in with an 8ft privacy fence.
We were in town for a mini vacay and the house was just like it was described and as it looked in the pictures. Our host was amazing! He answered all our questions and gave us recommendations for the area. He even brought a hair dryer by because I had forgot mine and - iykyk! All in all- if you are looking for a house to stay at, look no further! You wonât be disappointed!
We had a great time at this charming cottage! It perfectly blended historic charm with modern finishes, making it both cozy and updated. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable; we felt totally safe taking our dog out for walks. The location was a 10-12 min drive to the city. The Bishop Arts District was a 2 min drive away and they had lots of cute places to eat, some of which did offer outdoor, dog-friendly seating. The only minor concern was the backyard and while it is fenced in, it was a bit overgrown, which might be tricky if you have a small dog. That said, communication with the property manager was a 10/10. They were responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, I would definitely stay again, and I would recommend it to everyone!
The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Very pleased about that after a long day of travel. The layout inside was excellent for friends to stop by. The front porch is a perfect setting for late March. Communication with the host was among the best I have experienced. Cenzo's Pizza, just around the corner, should be advertised as a must stop.
The house was cute and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group. It was just what we needed for this stay. The host was responsive and helpful, even brought us kitchen towels and light bulbs on Christmas Eve.
Great location for those who want to experience the Bishop Arts shops and restaurants. It was perfect for us while visiting family who lived nearby.
Very quiet, clean place for home base to reach almost any activity in Dallas.
The place was exactly as listed. It was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was great, very close to Bishop Arts District which was amazing for food and unique boutiques. Host was very responsive when contacted. Overall it was a great place to stay, we would not hesitate to stay here again.
Fun, bright, clean stay for our Family of four in a really great neighborhood!! We were able to bop over to the Bishop Arts District which is the cutest with lots of great food! Beds were comfy and rooms spacious! Kitchen could have used more supplies! Overall really wonderful spot, and the owners responded so quickly with anything we needed!
The host replies quick and the check-in process was simple. Also a super cute and comfortable home. This was a great choice for my partner and Iâs little weekend getaway!
Transitional historic neighborhood filled with mid-century modern bungalows, the host has honored the design and updated comfortably. It was especially nice having 2 bathrooms .
Went for a concert that we almost missed because we had to wait for the HVAC guy to show up because
The property is nice, not really very clean, lots of cobwebs on the ceilings and walls. The area is great!! So many amazing things to do close by!! The host is great with communication if everything is fine, not so much if thereâs an issue, and her property manager is completely unreliable.
This was probably the cleanest VRBO we have stayed at. The check in process was simple and Catherine was very easy to get a hold of. The listing does say there is a washer and dryer on the property but there is not. When I contacted the Catherine she was able to let us use another property to do laundry which was awesome, but this was a bit of an hassle. Other than that this was a very cute historic home with great spaces for our family of 4.
Nice bungalow in a neighborhood with lots of cute bungalows. Neighborhood is good for walking dogs. Property has a deck in a fully fenced backyard. Just be aware the garage apartment is occupied (as stated in the listing), and the garage apartment tenant access is via an exterior staircase within the fenced backyard. Not a problem, just need to know that. The house is fully furnished, has all needed kitchen appliances, including Kurig k-cup coffee machine and k-cups of multiple different coffee flavors. Has stacked washer/dryer and laundry detergent. Super comfy beds!
Property is close to Bishop Arts District with lots of good restaurants. Convenient location for getting to the museums downtown. We highly recommend the Perot Museum.
