Located at 18 Riverview Terrace, just 2 min walk to the beach & boardwalk , this cozy recently renovated 4-bedroom rental has a private covered porch w/ beautiful views, plenty of outdoor seating, lighting, private propane grill, private gas fire pit. The house includes a full kitchen with all amenities, brand-new granite countertops, dishwasher, brand-new appliances, washer/dryer in unit, two full bathrooms w/bathtubs & and heated tile floors, two living rooms, a dining area, cable TV & high speed internet. Two bedrooms have queen beds, one bedroom has 1 twin and 1 full, another bedroom had 1 full bed. There are also pull out futons that sleeps 2 in each living room area & one extra twin cot. Outdoor Shower, private propane grill & picnic area. Propane tank for grill provided, propane itself not provided, if gas remains from previous tenant, you can use it.

Two parking spaces for any sized vehicle is included & additional parking may be available for economy rate, you can inquire at anytime after booking to what can be arranged. All mattresses will have protectors and a sheet on them, a few starter rolls of toilet paper are always provided as well as a bath mat however blankets and towels are NOT provided. Great vacation house for larger families, reunions or friends.

We allow pets for a one time pet fee of $150 for the first pet, $75 for any additional pet. We can host a maximum of 3 pets.

Early check-in and late checkout could be added based on availability & an additional fee.

Reservations under seven nights may be subject to additional fee.

Cute & great location but not clean

We had fun and the place offered ample room for six of us. It's in a great location, literally around the corner from lots of things to do and places to eat, and near the beach. However, the house was not clean. One of the bathrooms still had old bars of soap from previous guests (all with hairs on them). Only one of two coffee pots worked, and it still had old coffee in it (both in the pot and the grounds). The floors were dirty, definitely unswept. Toilets weren't pretty, to say the least. Aside from that, the electrical is a hazard. None of the small lamps worked, and the outlet with extension cords behind the downstairs tv clearly had too many things plugged into it. When checking it to see if the lamps were plugged in, the slightest movement of the cords turned everything off. Little toilet paper, no paper towels, dirty dishes in the sink when we arrived. My suggestion--clean the place and it could be great.

Dirty Flop House

For the price I thought we would at least get something clean. This place looked like it had never been cleaned. There was pink salt chunks everywhere (30 upstairs alone) and they were shedding salt so I know the place wasn’t cleaned. I spilled something on the kitchen floor, the paper towel was black from wiping. The downstairs bathroom was disgusting: black grunge ring around the tub, towel bar came down as soon as I put a towel on it. Toilet paper holder came down as soon as I put the roll on. The toilet looks dirty and moved. The stuff was just packed into this place - multiple foot baths, small appliances all over the counter. There was so much decorative stuff if you put something down, you couldn’t find it again. There was trash on the floor in one of the bedrooms. The furniture was old and uncomfortable and appeared to be collected from the street it was that bad. It consisted of everything that someone didn’t want, but wouldn’t throw out or collected around town on trash day. There was a table and two chairs crammed into the corner blocked by a packman machine. You could only get to one chair and the legs were broken. That could have been a bad accident. There was a hornets nest on the upper deck and Yes we suffered the aggravation of stings. We asked to get in 2 hours early and the landlord wanted more money. We paid the mortgage for the month on this place, not to mention all the cleaning fees would pay for a housekeeper for 6 months. There was junk everywhere.

Dirty and old in general, cig buts all around outside, trash disgusting, property tacky, old, disgusting, not well supplied with essential items to cook and serve. too much stuff overwhelming the units inside and outside. Just basically gross.

Perfect location but could use some work

The house is in the perfect area and in walking distance to the beach and the boardwalk which we loved. However, when we arrived we noticed how dirty the place was. Smudges on the front of the refrigerator, sand all over the downstairs couch, sand and hair in the bathtub like someone had just used it, sand hair and pee all over the downstairs bathroom toilet, the mirrors in the bathrooms and the downstairs living room were dirty, the stove and microwave had leftover food on it from the people staying before us and the inside of the refrigerator was dirty. (Have pictures for proof) Downstairs in the living room and the bedroom, only half the outlets worked. The bedroom off the kitchen, the ac is so loud it’s impossible to have on if you’re in there sleeping at night. Before we arrived we had paid for 2 extra parking spots for a total of 4 spots, two in the front of the house and two next to the house. On our second day we came back to the house and someone had parked in one of our spots and come to find out, someone had sold them the same parking spot they sold us, which caused us to have to double park on the street. A local resident came a little while later and started yelling at us telling us we were not allowed to double park on the street because of emergency reasons which we understand. We told him what happened with the parking situation and asked him what we should do and he said he didn’t care but he was going to call the police on us and have our cars towed.

The property layout was perfect for what we needed. We traveled with our 2 kids who each brought a friend. However, the units were absolutely disgusting. Besides a vacuum and dishes being put away it appeared as if nothing had been cleaned in a very long time. Toilet bowls had fecal matter in them. The first floor shower was unusable it had so much mold in it. The shower curtain had so much mold on it I suspect it hadnt been changed in several years...they cost $5!!! Sinks were splattered with toothpaste spit. Not a single appliance was clean including the fridge. As far as long term cleaning the build up of dust on the windowsills, handprints on walls, dirt stains etc showed that whoever is responsible for cleaning this house only does minimal superficial cleaning and I wonder if a deep clean has ever been done. The final straw was when we dried our beach towels in the dryer they came out smelling like weed. This house has great potential but it needs a proper cleaning company. The owner did refund my cleaning fee but never offered to send the cleaning company back out. I even forwarded her pictures

Nice house, awesome location

The house was clean well maintained and within walking distance of the beach and ocean front attractions. Property manager was quick to respond to questions and friendly.

Hampton Graduation Vacation!

We were a large group (13 people) and we stayed at this vacation rental to celebrate our sons' graduation. It was pefect for our group! It was walking distance to everything. The deck and the patio was perfect for outdoor barbeques and evenings around the fire pit. We would definately stay there again!
