Old Man's Cave and other state parks are approximately a 20-30 minute drive from the cottage. Also, if you need supplies, or wish to do some shopping, Lancaster, Logan or Laurelville are within a 15-30 minute drive of the property.

Great Location

Very close to all the attractions. This was a very nice property that had alot of extras and conveniences. Lots of outdoor space to explore and play. Plenty of room for a family of four or five.

Nice and clean

I will definitely be staying at this property again.Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could think of.Drive wasn’t bad to get to the hiking trails.

Wonderful stay

Sweet Nell’s was a great place to stay for the week during the winter. The gas fireplace was a nice touch especially in the cold winter, although the upstairs stays very warm most of the time each room having their own heat controlled base boards. Additionally, it was very nice to have a dishwasher, washer, and dryer…extremely convenient and easy for packing and unpacking from start to finish. The hot tub was awesome (an awning or some sort of coverage over it would be nicer when it is raining or any weather is coming down). One downside is that there were a lot of bugs that somehow entered the house before we got there and while we were there.

Great Family location.

We stayed 4 days over Thanksgiving. Lovely place, acreage for kids and pets, well stocked kitchen with majority of appliances and gadgets one needs. We will return here.

Es un lugar precioso para quedarte para siempre.

Es un lugar hermoso, recomendado al 100%, inmaculadamente limpio,cada espacio de esta casita es perfecto, la cocina esta muy bien equipada para cocinar lo que tu quieras, facil para llegar a cualquier lugar que quieras ir a divertirte, disfrutamos cada noche en la fogata y jacuzzi viendo estrellas.

Wonderful property

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very nice. It was immaculately clean and stocked better than anywhere else we have ever stayed. Check in and out could not have been easier. Beautiful private back yard and close to all Hocking Hills! We would highly recommend a stay here!

Peaceful, thoughtful, charming, and green space to roam!

We just loved this little place. The only thing I wish I would have known is that there is no cell service at the property, so look up your check-in info BEFORE arrival. The location is so quiet and the yard so large we were not at all worried to let the dog and kids play freely. Very easy driving distance to all the HH trails we wanted to do. We would totally stay here again!

What a delight!

We wanted a cozy place to stay that offered land for our dog to roam, and that’s exactly what we found. Having easy access to all of the attractions in Hocking Hills was such a bonus; we didn’t have to go far to explore all of the beautiful trails. An early start on a full day of hiking with our pup, then back to an inviting hot tub, a nice dinner easily made with all the great features of the kitchen, then onto a wonderful fire under the stars. This stay was absolutely perfect! We hope to travel back to Hocking Hills next spring to see the falls in full force; we’d be so happy to stay here again. Thank you for adding to such a memorable weekend!

The BEST before back to school vacation!

The cottage / yard was even better than the pictures! You can really tell the love and care thats put into everything. It was all so homey and comfortable you could really relax and just have fun. Our dog loved having the space to run and our kids were full of laughs all weekend. This was the perfect place to make some memories before our kids went back to school. We would LOVE to stay again!

Nice hideaway

The cottage was tucked away nicely in the hills. Very quiet and secluded on a scenic country road. Plenty of room for our dogs to run. My only complaint would be that the grill wasn’t working. Everything else was perfect! Plan on revisiting later in the Fall of 2023.

The place is what we hoped for

We enjoyed the place we stayed. It was what we hoped for. A quiet place to come back to after a day of exploring. Big yard for the dog to venture out into. Bird feeder right out the kitchen window to see Hummingbirds, Cardinals, Blue Jays etc. The inside appliances and conveniences were all updated and top of the line. For a small footprint of a house it suited the 4 of us well(plus big dog). It was relaxing to say the least

Perfect Hocking Hills Cottage

I stayed with our three kids all 9 and under, we had a blast. The cottage was very clean, kitchen updated and the backyard was HUGE, just what the kids needed to run around after making s'mores. The hot tub was a hit as well. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Amazing location, awesome host

House was significantly better than even the pictures show, perfectly located off the beaten path but still very centrally located. Amazing and friendly host. A true gem of the Hills!

Great cottage, great location

My son and I were looking for a extended weekend retreat that had ample private property for us to relax and to let our dog run without distractions. This cottage was perfect. It sits on a private property with a large cleared yard surrounded by trees. The cottage was very clean and had a welcoming feel. The kitchen is very nice and we had no issues preparing meals while we stayed. The fire pit has a grilling grate attachment and my son enjoyed cooking burgers over the open flame. The hot tub was also quite nice and felt good relaxing in after our day hikes in Hocking Hills. We had a great stay and would stay there again.

Great Property, location, and owners!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property and setting are very beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub (very clean) and outdoor fire pit, there is also a nice outdoor grill. There were more than enough dishes, glasses, appliances, silverware, and “extras” in the kitchen, and plenty of towels! Very close to the many Hocking Hills popular hiking trails, we would stay here again and recommend to others. The owners are extremely nice.

Nice clean house in a good location

The house was very comfortable for three friends... easy and beautiful drive to Logan or Hocking Hills State Park and we also went to Lake Hope State Park. Nice big clean kitchen. Nice clean hot tub right out the back door. We saw a deer, birds, chipmunks, squirrels at the bird feeder. Fireplace was nice and easy to use. Bathroom was clean and recently renovated. The large green TV was easy for streaming services. I would recommend.
