Old Man's Cave and other state parks are approximately a 20-30 minute drive from the cottage. Also, if you need supplies, or wish to do some shopping, Lancaster, Logan or Laurelville are within a 15-30 minute drive of the property.

Adorable cottage and perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay here when we visited the Hocking Hills area. The cottage was adorable, very clean, and in a great location to everything we wanted to see. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Sweet Nell's Cottage is in a great location!! close to attractions such as tubing and fishing. Nell's is beautiful inside and out and comes complete with all the comforts of home. I would highly recommend Sweet Nell's for a large family with kids and dogs because the property is so large!

Beautiful and quiet stay

We got rained out of hiking for one day but it was okay, the cottage felt private and spacious enough for a family of four. We watched movies and relaxed while the weather was bad and it was perfectly cozy.

Great Location

Very close to all the attractions. This was a very nice property that had alot of extras and conveniences. Lots of outdoor space to explore and play. Plenty of room for a family of four or five.

Great Family location.

We stayed 4 days over Thanksgiving. Lovely place, acreage for kids and pets, well stocked kitchen with majority of appliances and gadgets one needs. We will return here.

Nice and clean

I will definitely be staying at this property again.Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was completely stocked with everything you could think of.Drive wasn’t bad to get to the hiking trails.

Wonderful property

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very nice. It was immaculately clean and stocked better than anywhere else we have ever stayed. Check in and out could not have been easier. Beautiful private back yard and close to all Hocking Hills! We would highly recommend a stay here!

The host was great. We had a few questions and she was happy to help. It was a nice cozy cottage to stay at. Super close to all the great hikes in Hocking Hills.

Perfect Hocking Hills Cottage

I stayed with our three kids all 9 and under, we had a blast. The cottage was very clean, kitchen updated and the backyard was HUGE, just what the kids needed to run around after making s'mores. The hot tub was a hit as well. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Cute & cozy cottage

We planned a last minute vacation and this cottage became avail. It was very clean and met all the accommodations we were looking for. About 20-30 minutes to all the hiking areas. The property is beautiful & peaceful. Highly recommend!

Peaceful, thoughtful, charming, and green space to roam!

We just loved this little place. The only thing I wish I would have known is that there is no cell service at the property, so look up your check-in info BEFORE arrival. The location is so quiet and the yard so large we were not at all worried to let the dog and kids play freely. Very easy driving distance to all the HH trails we wanted to do. We would totally stay here again!

Great Property, location, and owners!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property and setting are very beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub (very clean) and outdoor fire pit, there is also a nice outdoor grill. There were more than enough dishes, glasses, appliances, silverware, and “extras” in the kitchen, and plenty of towels! Very close to the many Hocking Hills popular hiking trails, we would stay here again and recommend to others. The owners are extremely nice.

The house is very cozy. Large kitchen that is very well appointed. Close to Hocking Hills. Great hot tub and outside fire pit on secluded and scenic property. Responsive host.

Wonderful stay

Sweet Nell’s was a great place to stay for the week during the winter. The gas fireplace was a nice touch especially in the cold winter, although the upstairs stays very warm most of the time each room having their own heat controlled base boards. Additionally, it was very nice to have a dishwasher, washer, and dryer…extremely convenient and easy for packing and unpacking from start to finish. The hot tub was awesome (an awning or some sort of coverage over it would be nicer when it is raining or any weather is coming down). One downside is that there were a lot of bugs that somehow entered the house before we got there and while we were there.

Private Oasis

My wife and I rented the cabin for 4 days to visit Hocking Hills and explore the area. We had a great time and the property was a perfect place to start and end each day. Very private with a good property in the back where we saw deer every morning. Hot tub was great after hiking every day and staring up at countless stars. Would absolutely recommend and return! Thanks for the great getaway!
