Modern furnishings, high-end finishes, and beautiful views make this beachfront vacation home a place to retreat and relax. The kitchen has an eat-in island with lots of room for cooking up food for those hungry beachgoers. Perfect for multiple couples or several families vacationing together there are four bedrooms each with a full bath and the extra half bath provides space for all. Spectacular views from the living, kitchen, and primary bedroom however there is plenty of deck space for everyone to hang out and enjoy the gulf view. Sorry, no pets at this home.

Galveston 2024

This beach house was great! The layout of the house was excellent for our four families staying there. Plenty of room to spread out for privacy or come together for meals and fun. The beach was nice, other than the raging wind, but no one could have controlled the weather. The steps to cross to the beach were missing a couple of boards but it was reported to management and I'm sure it will be taken care of asap. Management response to this small issue was prompt and courteous. Overall, we loved the house and location! Also, the living room furniture is super nice and comfy!

Great place on beach with a few problems

Great house with good accommodations. The refrigerator isn’t large enough or nice enough for a house that sleeps 16. It went out during our stay, but started working again. Management needs to replace it. Not enough paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher detergent or dish soap for a house this size. We had to buy some to get through a 4 night stay. Great location with short walk to beach. The beds were soft but the sheets kept coming off the mattress. We will not stay at this property again.

Home repairs

We had a water leak the first night and weren’t sure we could use main bathroom for a few hours. There ended up being a hole cut out in downstairs hall ceiling and also two holes cut in wall of main bath. It was clear that bathroom had had problems from looking at ceiling and it has 3 different floors in it. We were able to use it even though plumber couldn’t fix it till we left. Siding outside was off outside that shower also so very windy rainy night one night and the flapping/ wind howling through/ the siding kept us up. The property manager was great and was going to check on a partial refund for us as the property was not in the condition for a top dollar rental.

Labor Day

Location and house was great! Thankfully the public access to beach was close. The walkway over to beach was very short at the house, but the Mosquitoes were very bad. Also paranoid walking through dunes due to snakes. So in all a fun trip!

Great house

We enjoyed this house very much. It had a lot more things than were described which is nice, but I wish we could have known in advance. I even asked questions a few days before but didn’t get an answer. For instance there were 2 keurig pod coffeemakers plus a regular drip machine. There were lots of extra pillows and blankets. There were also plenty of spices, but we read that we should bring our own salt and pepper. And there was a charcoal grill. The layout was great. The area under the house to wash off was great. The master bedroom has a newly remodeled shower instead of the bathtub listed. The beach was very close. Bring extra dish soap and paper towels and toilet paper if you like quality paper products. The hot water in the showers didn’t get hot enough for me. Overall we were very happy with our stay but I like reviews that give details I’d want to know.

Beautiful Property / Didn't care for Ryson Management

Beautiful property and furnishings. Great location, great view, nice to have outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Two toilets needed maintenance, dripping faucet, towel rack needed repair. Could use more teaspoons, and cookie sheets. Ryson Rentals was stingy about giving access information... 40 minutes before our check in time. (I did try to call and get the info 24 hours before, but Mary Jo wouldn't budge. We had family traveling and my 85 year old mom doesn't text or email while traveling.) Didn't receive enough towels for our group; asked for more and was promised more... The towels were never delivered.

Perfect, steps to the beach !

We were booked at a different location, the property sold ! So, last minute problem solvers at Ralston came through with the perfect get away . This house accommodated the guest coming and going . Will definitely stay here again . It’s also close the the action , restaurant etc than some of the other properties! Don’t miss this place , the beach is at your doorstep!

Nice Vacation

Overall it was good experience! However, there are three things that we did not like. First, we came from the west and had to make an hour trip extra to pick up the keys and another one hour trip to return the keys at check out. Second, the master bedroom of the house does not have a shower or a standing bath tub that made it inconvenient for our sister’s family who stayed there. Third, the lower beds of two bunked beds in one room downstairs are too low that even an 11 year-old boy could not sit there. My 11 year old nephew and his dad who slept on the lower beds accidentally got up and hit their heads too hard. It was dangerous. Additionally the ceiling fan in that room is too close to the bunk beds. It can hit the one who stays in the upper beds. We had to remember not to turn that ceiling fan on. That was very unsafe. My brother’s family who stayed in that bed room was not happy.

Awesome vacation!

Loved our stay at Bishop's Beach! The house was amazing! The only complaint is that the listing states that there is a shower in the master suite, but there is only a bathtub. The bed is also very high in the master. I'm 5'10" and could barely climb up into it. The refrigerator was also leaking a little water inside. Other than that...everything was perfect. We loved sitting on the porch and having dinner on the large picnic table. We would stay there again! It was the perfect vacation!

Nice location but home needs a bit of TLC

We checked into this property which is a great location and has a great layout. However, upon check in we discovered standing water in the dishwasher that had been there for an indeterminate amount of time and it stunk up the whole house, counters were dirty and the fridge was malfunctioning leaking condensate all over our food and there was already a pool of nasty water in the bottom of the fridge. If this property is marketed for families the fridge should be capable of safely storing food and the dishwasher should be checked by housekeeping. Also, management should consider going to properties with check in dates pending and turn the fridge down to cool properly at least 24 hrs prior to check in. We had to throw out a lot of our food

Great Ocean Views

Awesome Beach Visit

The location of the property is excellent if you want a little bit of quiet on your vacation - the home is 10-15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Galveston so the beaches were relatively quiet each day. The home is in excellent condition, great location and great layout. Rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Parents were happy, teenagers were happy, dogs were happy. We would be thrilled to stay here again on our next visit.

This house is great!!

The house was great! The pictures did not do it justice. Very roomy and literally 30 seconds from the beach! My family and I will definitely stay here again!
