It's all about the VIEW!!! This is the place to make lasting memories. Enjoy this oasis by the sea, only steps from the ocean with endless views. This amazing beach house is perfect for groups of 12-14.

Take in the sounds of the waves while enjoying a morning cup of coffee or a cold afternoon beverage in the new Adirondack seating area. Relax while walking on the beach, collecting sea shells, building sand castles, and making memories with family and friends. Wade fishing is another favorite for our guests. The ease of being only steps from the beach allows you to have all of the conveniences of being at home while being able to bring food and drinks to the beach with ease. After a day at the beach, there is an outdoor shower to rinse off which is a favorite for visitors.

This serene beachfront home is on a quiet cul de sac and is right next to the beach walkover. It is beautiful year round! The large spacious living area looks out to the beach from all angles and the large deck faces east for the sunrise. The new windows and doors accent the spectacular view. On the deck, we offer outdoor seating areas that include two picnic tables, and six Adirondack loungers. The indoor dining has seating for 8 with 3 bar stools nearby. The home is perfect for gathering family or friends. In the evening the children can retreat to the upstairs media room, while the adults may take in some cards, games, or TV in the main living space. We recently replaced all of the windows and French doors.

The recently renovated master suite has a large king-size bed with its own stairway and private deck! There is a guest bedroom (queen bed), up a separate stairwell. It has a private deck & bathroom. The bedrooms downstairs include: one with a queen size bed and deck access, and two pull-out cots, and the fourth bedroom has 3 sets of bunk beds that sleep 6. The bunk room does not have access to the deck for safety. It adjoins to the other downstairs bedroom with an updated bathroom. The downstairs has also been recently renovated with new floors and windows.

This is the perfect beach house to share with friends and family. The driveway can accommodate up to four vehicles. We look forward to having you as our guests.

Cancellation policy: No cancellations for weather unless there is a hurricane/ tropical storm warnings. 30 days or more notice you receive a 100% refund. Cancellations between 15 and 29 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund. No refunds within 14 days of arrival.

We had a great time! It did rain some but did not affect our stay at all. The view of the beach was awesime!

Best View EVER!!!

The beach was fantastic, the view was bar none. & the accommodations were spacious for six adults. It's not a brand new beach house but it is certainly very comfortable. There was a well stocked kitchen, & all was just simply superb! The lawn needed to be mowed to help with the horrible mosquito issue, but we felt all of this was due to recent Hurricane Beryl & the many rainy days that followed. You can't get to the beach any quicker than from Sand By Me. We enjoyed this beach stay above our many other yearly trips of 19 years of family vacations. If we could give you 10 stars we would! It was AWESOME!

Needed Vacay

The house was very nice, but needs a few things. Mattresses were horrible in down stairs queen and upstairs queen rooms. Drier sounds like it's about ready to fall apart. Had to contact property manager, the a/c went out on day 3. She did have the repairman come. He did get it fixed, thankfully. Need a few more big pots for cooking. None that are too good. Now that's out of the way, we enjoyed the week. It was much needed. Thanks a lot!

Perfect for large family

House and location were perfect, lots of amenities not found in other beach rentals. House looked well-cleaned and ready for us. However the ladies commented that floors were swept but need a thorough mopping. Kids feet were black from just being in the house. Also beach toys could use a going-through and clean and/or discard/replace some. Please do not take this as a negative review (you have my permission to omit the critical comments if you choose to publicize this review, floor mopping and beach toys condition comments are for Kathy’s eyes only), we loved the property, had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend, and hope to stay here again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beach house! In fact, it's our 2nd time renting it. The views are amazing, all the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed and equipped, and the living room furniture is quite comfortable (not always the case with some rentals). I'd highly recommend this house and owner for your next family Galveston getaway!

This is an awesome place to stay!

Peaceful, Relaxing and Beautiful

My family and I rented Sand By Me July 2023. The house was beautiful, very spacious and very clean. All instructions were very easy to read and understand. The master bedroom looking over the water was my favorite part. Being able to sit up in bed and watch the sun rise and not even have to leave the the house. The Deck was also very much used and enjoyed. Since there are no stairs to get on the deck from ground level, I was able to let my 18 month daughter roam freely (for the most part) on the deck and watch her have the time of her life. This is a great home for you if you want a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

Beautiful views and beach access

We spent a long relaxing weekend here that we loved! Easy to book, very responsive owner. Views were amazing, location to walkway and beach awesome. Having a few beach toys was great! Loved being this far down in a section of beach where no cars are allowed on the beach. Note: there is no beach wagon or chairs, so bring your own. And upstairs Q bed/bathroom is lofted, so no door for that bedroom. Didn't bother us but may be an issue for others. We could prepare what we needed in the kitchen. AC worked well. Lots of fun memories!! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Great house

We had a great stay at this house! It's a bit farther out than the main town but the house and set up is fantastic for a family get away. I feel the house is nicer than the pictures. The views and balconies are perfect. The host was also very responsive. We would book this again.

Best location and views!

We went for a weekend with our neighbors (and all our kids) to escape the Houston heat! Cooked all our meals in the kitchen without any difficulty. Property owner is extremely responsive. We absolutely loved it there. We always go to Pointe West and this is by far our favorite house!

Lovely Beachfront Home

It’s an absolutely beautiful location with lots of windows, decks, and beautiful views. The subdivision and exterior of the home are beautiful. The inside, however, seemed old and tired, especially the kitchen. While new flooring covers the dining, living room, and master suite, There is still nasty carpet on the stairs. The upholstered furniture has been around for awhile. The front door sticks. Despite these negatives, we still loved our week and would be willing to return. For 9 of us, three couples and 3 kids, it worked well and we loved having the walkover just to the left of our driveway. We had a great week with 3 generations!

This was a great place for our family. The manager was very helpful and we loved the location. The house is very nice and has great amenities, even has a great outdoor shower for when you come up from the beach. Highly recommend this house if you want to spend time with your family or friends on the beach.

Lovely Fun Comfortable Homely

We have stayed at this home before because of the attention to detail, the views, the service, and the way the place makes you feel. It’s lovely! All the amenities are there. If things go wrong, and let’s be real, things can go wrong, the service is there instantly. Fortunately, for us what went wrong was all on us and one call (that was immediately answered)told us what we were doing wrong and we went on with a perfect family reunion. The adults love the space and the porches and the sitting areas. The kids love the bunk room, where the silliness ensues. There’s a community pool across the street. Personally, I can never get enough of the sand and the salt water but if you do, go across the street for a cool dip. It’s always money well spent because the memory last a lifetime, and the stuff we could’ve bought with the money is forgotten in the blink of an eye. Thank you so very much for a beautiful memory.

Awesome beach getaway

Great location with a wonderful view of the ocean. Easy access to a quiet stretch of the beach. Nice bedrooms that are ideal for families with kids. We had a great time!

This house has it all

Sand by Me has everything you need to have a great time in Galveston! The kitchen is well stocked with appliances including a crock pot, which we put to use for dinner one night. The kids love the bunk room, which is perfect for our 3 families who have stayed here the past 3 years in a row on our annual trip to Galveston. Its location to the beach and view from the deck can't be beat. We love this house and will be coming back again for our 4th visit next year.

Location cannot be beat

This house was perfect for our family of 14(age 5-65). If you want a beach vacation, this is your destination, as the beach is mere steps from the house. In this area you damn near have the beach to yourself. It was wonderful to have our own space and not be on a crowded public beach. Comfy beds and pillows, lots of space, huge deck, cozy furniture, plenty of fridge/storage space. There's even a wine fridge if you plan to enjoy a nice bottle of vino(we sure did). The A/C kept the house cool and we never ran out of hot water. A major highlight for our family was heading to the beach after 10pm with flashlights for an adventure of sand crab spotting. Our family loved it here and we'd definitely stay again.

We love Pointe West! The house is awesome - right on the beach, beautiful views. Lots of bunk beds for the kids. We’d love to stay there again!

Weekend Getaway

The property location is beautiful! My family and friends visiting had a wonderful time. The beach is steps away and the balconies were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the amazing unobstructed view of the ocean. The property manager, Kathy Waite, was very helpful and we look forward to staying here again!
