Private Suite with private entrance in quite SW area pets ok!
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Great quiet neighborhood. Lovely Private suite located in southwest Bakersfield, place includes easy private no contact check-in and checkout. Close to restaurants, Mercy Southwest hospital, parks, and much more
This unit fit all of our needs regarding location, cleanliness, and amenities. I would 100% recommend this property to my friends and family and will revisit this if I'm in town in the future!
Nice quiet location. Corner of bed frame can be deadly for your shins! Lock never worked on the door so place wasnât very secure, but had no problems. Would consider staying here again as I am sure the owner will take care of those little problems.
Property wasn't equipped very well for a long-term stay. Had to buy my own cuttlery. Not a very soundproof room.(could hear people talking in the other part of the house that was rented and the food smell from cooking coming through the vents was very nauseous! Had to keep the patio door open at times to let the smell out.
This "Lovely private suite" is ANYTHING BUT a "serene space." I left without staying it was disgusting and I did NOT feel safe. Accessing the room, I walked along the side of the house: screen off the window, empty small propane bottle on the ground, broken fence exposing to the neighbor's yard, open bag of fertilizer, stained gross patio chair and concrete. Entering the room, I scraped my leg on the rusty bed frame that was sticking out. I tried just to tuck it back but then it stuck out another way. Then I noticed it was happening on the other side too. The bed obviously did not fit the frame. The bed skirt was dirty and stained. The curtains to cover the sliding glass door were a joke. Looking above the slider, the crescent window was roughly covered with paper that was falling off. Two positives, the bathroom was clean and the host was quick to respond in the message system. However, the owner is not working with me on a refund. I was willing to pay for the day I entered the property and pay the cleaning fee. I just wanted my two nights back. I tried to gracefully leave without tearing her property apart, just saying it did not meet my expectations. That turned around to hurt me because I did not identify the problems with the property. Friends also recommended I post my honest review to keep other potential single women travelers safe. My dog and I ended up at the Hyatt and I highly recommend you go there as well!
I am so grateful to have had Jessicaâs place to stay when we first arrived in Bakersfield. She is the sweetest and a very communicative host! The neighborhood is safe and relatively quiet, and the studio was roomy & comfortable enough for us to stay 10 days as I started work. Snickers LOVED the yard to hang out in while it was still warm! My only suggestion would be an outdoor LED light for the backyard maybe, since I worked some nights and would come home in the dark. Even so, sleeping during the day was easy with the room-darkening curtains. Jessicaâs place was a perfect home away from home when we needed it!
