Belvedere Duomo est le plus bel endroit de Florence pour vos vacances italien. Situé littéralement sur le côté du Duomo de Brunelleschi (seulement 27 mètres ou 80 mètres), l'appartement à deux niveaux a une grande terrasse pour les repas (8) et de détente à l'ombre de ce grand dôme, la troisième plus grande église dans le monde. Après une rénovation complète de deux ans, cette propriété est «nouveau» dans la coque d'une structure du 12ème siècle. Les équipements de l'appartement sont que vous trouveriez dans une suite d'hôtel de luxe, avec la cuisine d'un gourmand, branchements informatiques et wi-fi, laveuse / sécheuse, et une élégante salle de bain tout en travertin.

L'appartement est situé au quatrième étage du bâtiment, avec 88 étapes bien vaut le voyage. L'aide est fournie pour aider avec des bagages à l'arrivée.

- the location us unbeatable, really - stairs were a great daily workout (LOL)- the air-conditioning was spectacular. I was super impressed. You really only need to run it for a bit and the entire place feels super comfortable - the bathroom is beautiful and the shower has great water pressure and heat - the upstairs is seriously a major highlight of the place - the window is easily operable, the bathroom is beautiful, and so is the kitchen- overall the place is very spacious for two guests, so much storage and tons of hangers!

Supercute and BEST LOCATION!!

Photos do not SHOW HOW AMAZING this Unit is...we LOVED IT...yes there are 5 flights of stairs and then stairs within the unit to the MAIN LIVING space...im a realtor in Atlantic Beach, FL USA and I thought this was my Favorite VRBO of ALL!! Nicely updated unit - Nice views from all windows....ESPECIALLY the Duomo Porch View...you can literally touch the DUOMO....Its so amazing. Walk downstairs to Everything - shops, restaurants, and lots of Live music at night - but its very quiet in the unit. the extra half bathroom and the laundry room are the perfect extras in Florence....If you can do stairs you WILL LOVE this one....We will be back!!

Beautiful location

This property is really unique. The location on the Duomo Piazza and right accross from the Duomo is terrific! The crowds die down around 5 pm and it's very quiet and relaxing after that. Easy walk to everything from here. There are a lot of stairs to the apartment as Ron notes in his listing and if you have a car the garage is a bit of a walk, so next time I will make arrangements for a porter to take the luggage to the room from the garage.

Best Location in Florence Ever!!

First off, Ron and his Management were very informative on what to bring, what to expect regarding the steps up to the apartment and even offered to purchase items from the store to get us by until we had a chance to go shopping ourselves. We met Robert at the door, he let us in and helped with our luggage. He had our groceries in the fridge, wine on the table and showed us around. Second, the location is unbelievably AMAZING!! Our photos look like postcards with the famous Duomo just a wine cork throw away. The terrace is just magnificent and a great place to take a load off and soak in the views. We visited the downstairs wine and cheese shop that Mickeal owns almost every day for a bite to eat, amazing wine and to hear about the stories of his family that has owned the 3 shops downstairs for over 100 years. I can't say enough good things about location and the owner Ron. We will for sure be back with our family and rent the apartment across the hall that Ron owns. Ciao!

The location and view from this perfect apartment is even better than the listing shows. Terrace larger than expected, interior decor excellent and well done. Overall this place is a gem! Lots of steps but worth it! Hoping to come back!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Ron was the most responsive and helpful host I’ve ever encountered and the view from the terrace was one that we will never forget! The place was very clean and I hope we can return to Florence one day and stay here again!

Fabulous Balcony!

This is my second stay at the apartments and loved it as much as the first. We rented both units to have enough bedrooms and baths for everyone. Both units are spacious and well equipped. The balcony is spectacular at sunrise, sunset and everything in between. Looking forward to our next stay!

Watch the sun come up sitting on the patio with the Duomo. There isn't a better view or proximity to this majestic landmark! This aspect of the apartment turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay in Florence. Evening view just as magical.

Spectacular in All Ways

The planning and coordination to reserve the dates went very smoothly. This is the second time that I have stayed in Belvedere Duomo in the terrace apartment. It is an exceptional apartment with beautiful decorations, comfortable furniture (bed was a dream to sleep in) warm and inviting. And then you have the balcony. What more can be said than to know that you have the most spectacular view in all of Florence. Just feet away from the beautiful Duomo able to see the detail of this magnificent building is just amazing. Sitting on the terrace in the early morning just gazing at the Duomo seeing Florence come alive is extremly exciting. And then at night to be able to sit and have a drink on the terrace and see that awe inspiring dome right in front of you lit up a beacon of beauty that defies imagination to know that it was centuries ago. The beauty, style and elegance of the apartment is testimony to Ron's abilities as an architect and designer. Amazing location and views

This is a beautiful, perfectly located apartment in Florence. This two-floor unit is spacious, beautifully decorated with an amazing terrace view. Very nice kitchen, comfy beds, lots of lounge space, laundry room. Don't let the stairs scare you; it is worth the climb. However, I would recommend the luggage service so you can get checked in and on your way quickly. We also opted for the fruit, cheese and wine basket which was a nice welcome to Florence. The location is fantastic, quick walk to almost everything. Although in a touristy area, the apartment is high enough above that there is not much noise. We slept well every night. Will stay here again for sure!

A pinch me moment! Stunning inside & out!

We fell in love with this apartment and view. We already knew the location was beyond perfect. Paolo and his team were very helpful. We loved Bernardo the guide he helped us set a tour of the city with. He was wonderful with our young teenage sons. This apartment is not at all typical and we loved the decor, floor plan, updates, fabulous and strong A/C and laundry room. Then there’s the sweeping terrace so close to Brunelleschi’s dome you can almost touch it. Beautiful views of San Miniato, San Lorenzo and Santa Croce. We enjoyed the concerts from the piazza below floating up and serenading us every night. The steps didn’t bother us. Just a great excuse to enjoy our gelato.

Amazing! The views...the location...perfect!

Location. Location. Location.

This is easy. When you visit Florence you need to experience Ron's Belvedere Duomo apartment . It is smartly designed (no surprise considering what Ron does), comfortable, great use of space and just a wonderful flavor overall. But the star of the show is the view and proximity to the Duomo. It's hard to explain so you need to come and experience the feeling of sitting in the apartment and "feeling" as if the Duomo is the next apartment over (which it is!). Get ready to climb the stairs but it's well worth the effort (every time). The other star of the show is Paolo who manages the Belvedere for Ron. He is simply awesome. Whatever you need he is ready and waiting to help with anything related to the apartment as well as some of the best restaurant recommendations we've received. He's also just a gem of a person. If you're coming to Florence then treat yourself to a stay at this apartment. It's a once in a lifetime experience.

The property is outstanding . A TEN!

My 3 daughters and l spent a week here to celebrate birthdays.... and it was fabulous. We had both Belvedere 1 and 2, thus giving us quite a bit of room and a balcony with a fabulous view! The properties are LOVELY and the location is the BEST. Paolo, the manager, could not have been nicer. I recommend this rental highly!

Unique place to stay in Firenze

Don’t think you could find a more unusual and lovely apartment with rooftop terrace and view that can’t be matched. Belvedere Duomo is fantastic. We used every inch of it ... super comfy bed, nice lower level living room .... mid level bath and laundry room and spectacular rooftop terrace with another living, dining area, kitchen, 1/2 bath. Friends vacationing in Firenze came over for drinks and were in awe of us staying there. Be prepared for the stairs but we hear there’s potentially an elevator in the future? Thanks, Ron, for offering this FAB place for others to enjoy! Your artwork is fascinating!

Fabulous apatment overlooking the Duomo

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 3 days in this beautiful place. The location was great with easy walks to all sights in Florence. Paulo was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and other places to see in the city. The apartment was very comfortable and the memories of the view will last a lifetime

This was a once in a lifetime experience - the view from Belvedere Duomo was magical!

The Belvedere Duomo is located on the top two floors of a 14th century building, literally a stones throw from Brunelleschi's ingenious and strikingly beautiful dome that sits atop Florence's iconic Duomo and Cathedral. The apartment is very modern, tasteful and beautiful thanks to the handiwork of owner, American architect Ron Blitch. It has a nearly 360 degree view from numerous windows and terraces and is decorated throughout with local masks, paintings and other artifacts. But the truly magical part is the open terrace, which is less than 100 feet from the dome itself. We spent every morning on the terrace having breakfast and coffee in the shadow of the dome and its Renaissance beauty, before venturing out into Florence or taking a day trip to Lucca or Chianti. In the evening we made dinner, or brought back take out, and had what we believe was the best "restaurant table" in Florence - enjoying great food and wine, looking out at the dome and cathedral now bathed in the warm glow of a dozen night lights, and serenaded by violinists playing in the street five stories below. Pure magic. The unit itself has a fully functional kitchen and beautiful living room/dining room combination on the upper level and a very comfortable bedroom and sitting/television room on the lower level, with two bathrooms and a laundry room. Ron was quick to respond with information on the unit when we first inquired and provided us with a detailed write up on the apartment and recommendations for shopping, restaurants, wine merchants, etc prior to our arrival. Paolo, who manages the unit and owns a nearby shop, was great to work with - he was flexible regarding arrival time, asked if we wanted him to stock the fridge and kitchen with any special fruits, vegetables, wine and other sundries (we did and they were amazing), and was reachable by text or at his shop to answer questions, offer recommendations, etc. The one challenge was climbing the 88 stairs from street level to the apartment itself. We are in good physical shape, so it didn't turn out to be a problem. But, if you have more than backpacks with you on arrival, we strongly recommend that you take Paolo up on his offer to have someone carry your luggage up the stairs. It was the best 25 euros we spent in Florence! All in all, we highly recommend the Belvedere Duomo ... it is truly magical and one of a kind! Steve + Cathryn, Kensington, CA

'Belvedere Duomo' - meaning 'beautiful view of the Duomo' is just that place, with a very convenient, luxurious and quiet apartment with the appointments of Florence's finest hotels.

After searching for an apartment for over a year, I saw this completely renovated 12th century apartment with one of the greatest views in all of Italy - Brunelleschi's Cathedral, or the Duomo. The powerful presence of the Duomo from the upper living room and kitchen (unique around the entire Duomo) is breathtaking and hard to put into words. The Duomo becomes 'part' of your Florence experience, from a vantage point that only you can enjoy.

Located literally next to the Duomo, Belvedere Duomo is only a few minutes from the Uffizi, the Train Station, the Central Market and San Lorenzo (Medici Chapel), and the Galleria Accademia (David). The apartment is a 'new' property, completed restored and rebuilt after 2 years of intensive work, including wonderful appointments and conveniences only found in a luxury suite in a fine hotel.
