Perfect location in the heart of Florence

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4 adults. Excellent location and the view of the Duomo was amazing. The apartment was as advertised and had everything we needed. It was very nice to come back and relax after walking all day. Marianna, and her lovely father who met us the first day, was an excellent host. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful spacious apartment in the middle of the best of Florence.

Grazie mille to Marianna..she helped us with reservations and taxis...could not have been more gracious. The apartment was gorgeous. Able to sleep in comfort with the AC even with days in the high 90's. Espresso in the morning and prosecco in the afternoon on the terrace was a joy. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic

This property was exactly where we wanted to be in the heart of the city. We could walk to everything, shops, restaurants, sites etc. The room was large with 3 bedrooms and a separate space for the living room area with clothes washer and dryer. It was ideal and our hostess could not have been better. If I ever return to Florence, I want to stay here again!

Location, Location, Location

Marianna was great - attention to detail, follow through and amazing restaurant recommendations. Also, great view of the duomo from all three terraces. Well worth the tri up the stairs once you arrive. Our four adults were very comfortable. As in many European properties, water heater is small so plan accordingly. I would highly recommend this property.

An amazing stay in Florence, Marianna, Thank You!

Florence is a city that will capture your attention in its stunning beauty, historic immersion of arts and antiquity, food and culture, diversity, and the people are friendly and generous. Our hostess owner/manager, Marianna provides a spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable residence that fully met our needs. The views from the apartment and the ease in traveling the city are remarkably convenient. We arrived at the end of high season which was still quite bustling, but had no trouble accessing everything we had hoped to see and do, and more. We walked everywhere except a bus trip out of the city, 7 miles, to the Florence United States cemetery, which is not to be missed for American tourists. We ate out and cooked in with a well appointed kitchen and dining area as well as outdoor deck seating to enjoy the wonderful weather. Airport Taxi transportation both directions was easy to manage, and Marianna was very generous in helping us in any way she could. This was an anniversary celebration trip of a lifetime for us, and we highly recommend it to other travelers.

Beautiful flat in Florence!

Myself and two longtime friends stayed in this flat. The first thing we noticed as we entered was how VERY CLEAN and well-appointed it was. We were quite pleased and appreciated this! Thank you Marianna! The flat was spacious, we each had our own bedroom; the kitchen had everything we needed. Marianna had a bottle of wine and other beverages for us and some yummy snacks to get started. The place has 3 terraces, but we found ourselves using the one off of the kitchen the most - coffee in the morning, a bite to eat, and enjoying a glass of wine and the view. We felt very safe here and it was quiet. Marianna was attentive but not intrusive. She checked in with us periodically to make sure we had what we needed. Upon request, she scheduled a taxi ride for us to the train station when it was time to leave. She also had a space for us to store our luggage after we checked out before our train ride back to Rome. There is no lift up to the flat. This was NOT an issue for us; for others it could be. This flat is well cared for and loved. We treated it like we would our own home. Would definitely recommend Marianna’s flat and would stay here again. Thank you Marianna!! We loved our stay!

Could not have dreamed for more

Every part of this VRBO stay was perfect! Here are some details: Host: Marianna was absolutely wonderful. She was efficient, timely, warm and welcoming. She gave excellent knowledgeable recommendations on several places to eat and even made the reservations for us - she knew several of the hosts personally and asked for particular tables in great spots. She helped us with additional travel plans including taxis, trains and directions. She thought of all of our needs and met them before we were even aware. She welcomed questions before you even got there! Beds: Very comfortable, warm and clean, with great mattresses (most comfortable of the 3 places we rented on our trip), new sheets/blankets/pillows. Loved the bedroom/loft upstairs with its own private deck. There are a total of 3 terraces - each with a great view. Lots of lighting, electrical outlets, and convenient dressers/closets for suitcases and clothes. Bathrooms: Every amenity was made available: Clean and well appointed. Lots of extra thick towels, TP, Kleenex, blowdryers, Shampoo/Conditioner/Lotion/handsoap. Back bathroom was large and plenty big enough for entire family with additional smaller bathroom in the front by living areas. Tip: if at first you get cold water, turn faucet off and wait 5 seconds, turn it back on. Kitchen: Very clean. Had every necessary tool and equipment including ice trays (yay!). Marianna left several snacks, treats and a great bottle of wine as a welcoming present! Had plenty of paper towel, hand towels, soap, all dishes/glasses/pots and pans. Easy to cook a meal here. Living Spaces: Loved the fact that there were several different places to hang out. Quiet individual places to read as well as cozy and comfortable couches accommodating at least 6. Felt very much at home here. Location: great central location to all the sites, great views, lots of places to eat and shop, safe neighborhood. There are 4 flights of stairs to get in as the listing says - our 74 year old Mother-in-law did well with it though! Loved our stay here in this house!

Ultra pratique pour tout visiter à pied, rejoindre la gare à pied. Appartement très propre, très belle vue. En longueur mais ce n'est absolument pas génant. Nous évaluons à 4 te non 5 à cause de la ventilation (chauffage) qui fait un bruit permanent. La propriétaire nous a indiqué qu'elle allait modifier le dispositif.

Perfect flat for a family stay in Florence

We stayed 3 nights in Marianna's flat. We were 5 and felt very comfortable with the 3 bedrooms, the 2 bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a enough place to have dinner. We found everything we could need and even more in Marianna's flat : haidryer, shampoo etc... but also a some drinks and many things for breakfast. Many thanks for all this, we appreciated a lot not to have to go shopping for the basics for a short stay. The location is absolutely perfect. Very close to the main monuments but very quiet (you can hear the bells of the Duomo, but it is part of the charm of being so close to it) and with a fantastic view. The flat was very clean. Marianna is very responsive before arrival should you have any question and communication is very easy. Many thanks again for your flexiblity on our arrival. This penthouse apartment is beautiful and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Marianna began communicating with me early with all of the details about checking in which was a smooth process. The washing ng machine was broken by previous renters and the part was not coming in until after we were to leave so our host refunded some of our money and then picked up our dirty clothes herself so she could wash and dry them and get them back the next day. She helped us line up taxis for a day trip and to get back to the train station when we’re departed from Florence. The apartment is lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and towels. The kitchen was well appointed and had paper towels, some snacks and a bottle of water and prosecco. The location was central and within walking distance of everything we visited. I highly recommend the apartment and Marianna who will take good care of you!!

Amazing location with all the amenities

Look no further - This is an exceptional property! It was perfect for my husband and I, and our three college-aged daughters. With 3 BR and 2 bath, this apartment had more than enough room for all of us to spread out while still allowing us to gather together to cook a meal in the well stocked kitchen or enjoy a glass of wine on one of the three beautiful terraces. Marianna, the host, was also wonderful. She was very helpful even before our trip. Because it was our first time in Italy, we had many questions. She was very quick to respond and gave us many helpful recommendations to enjoy while we were visiting. A couple of things to note: This property has amazing views of the Duomo and is on the top floor of the building. There are about 3 flights of stairs to climb but they are very easy and we had no trouble. The main bathroom is huge! My three daughters and I were easily able to get ready together at the same time. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook an amazing meal. There were also some basic seasonings and oils to use as well as many ways to make coffee/espresso in the morning. The location of this property was perfect! Only a couple of minutes to the Duomo, shops and restaurants. The grocery store is right down the street and there is a library right next door. We walked everywhere in the city!I highly recommend this property and Marianna. If we ever return to Florence, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful apartment in a great location, 5 minute walk from duomo. Each bedroom with AC (as well as other rooms). Nice kitchen with nearby grocer (also 5 minute walk). Marianna was extremely responsive. Highly recommended!

Florence felt like home, and this property was a big part of that. Marianna was so responsive and took care of us from the moment we booked. Everything was clean and perfect- and the location couldn't be better. Super close to all cafe's, shopping, and groceries. And an easy walk to the central plaza and train station, we never needed a car except a taxi to the airport. The beds were all comfy, and sitting on the terrace eating breakfast with views of the dome was so special! Just be ready to climb some stairs to get into the apartment!

Spacious home in a great location

Marianna’s home is lovely and in a great location - less than 5 minute walk to the duomo, 10 min to Piazza della Signoria, 15 to the central market and train station. The home is spacious with good separation between the bedroom/kitchen area from the living room. The second bathroom is in the living room area and both bathrooms were nicely appointed and stocked with items. The beds were comfortable and additional linens were available if needed. We had 5 adults and all were comfortable in their rooms. The check-in process would have been easy but our phones were not working properly to get the door code that was provided on WhatsApp. Download all of the information necessary before you get there because the concrete stairwell appeared to block the phone signal. Perfect home base!

The apartment is gorgeous and the view is amazing! There are lots of stairs but so worth it. We had plenty of space and were so comfortable. The location is very central and you can walk easily to all of the main attractions in Florence. It does get a bit noisy at night but nothing a white noise machine can’t fix. Nothing beats looking out your window to a perfect view of the Duomo! The kitchen is well appointed and the main bathroom is very large with a nice shower and two sinks. Marianna was a wonderful host, she was proactive, helpful, and very responsive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with her and would absolutely come back again and again!

Amazing location for visiting Florence

We had a wonderful time. The penthouse apartment was beautiful, clean and perfectly located for our family visit to Florence. Marianna was an amazing host helping us with restaurant reservations and taxi rides. We cannot wait to visit again!
