Great house with great views! We loved the huge, open, well-stocked kitchen. The bathrooms could use a little updating and we could have used a couple of more blankets upstairs but, other than that, everything was fine! The host, Wine Country to Coast, was so helpful during our stay, and their cleaning crew even found my Dad's hearing aid after we had looked everywhere for it! Wine Country to Coast called me and mailed it to us right away! Thanks again for everything!

The view is spectacular. The house is clean and comfy. The kitchen is nicely outfitted. The only drawback is that the driveway is so steep that it takes a strategic approach not to scrape the car.

Clean Home with a View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with our stay at Whale Watch. We shared the home with another family, and it was perfectly suited for that setup. The kids especially enjoyed the game room, which included ping pong, air hockey, and darts. The upstairs common space was spacious, bright, and very clean. The rental company also left welcome snacks for us, which was an unexpected and appreciated touch. Overall, this home exceeded our expectations, especially when it came to cleanliness and comfort.

The views are magnificent from almost every room upstairs. It was very windy while we were there, so there was little beach time and the views made all the difference. Staff (Stace and Amanda) were great and check in was easy and we were fully aware of the driveway entrance before we arrived, so that was all good. The ambience was great and the beds were comfortable. We had hoped for a better game room - especially because we really couldn’t go to the beach. Game room was in the garage and ping pong was only playable with the garage door closed to avoid balls getting lost down the driveway - which was kind of claustrophobic. Overall, we had a great time and would rent Whale Watch again.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed the magnificent views, comfortable beds, and overall ambience of Whale Watch. Even with the windy weather keeping you off the beach, we’re glad the scenery still made your stay special. We also really appreciate your kind words about the team! Thank you as well for the honest feedback regarding the game room. We understand how important indoor entertainment can be when the weather doesn’t cooperate, and we appreciate you sharing your experience with the ping pong setup in the garage. Feedback like this is incredibly helpful as we continue looking for ways to improve the guest experience. We’d love to host you again in the future and hope next time you’ll get some calmer beach weather too!
