Wonderful time relaxing with ocean views and an abundance of wildlife. House was perfectly arranged. A great variety of cooking utensils to make any kind of meal for large group. Love the one story too!
This property had good sleeping arrangements with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen had every appliance and accessories you could ever imagine. The neighborhood is quiet and abundant in deer! The deck has a nice view of the bay.
We stayed for 3 nights and could have stayed much longer. Amazing views of the coast from every room. Super comfortable home in terms of furnishings, amenities, Wi-Fi, etc. and also very quiet. The perfect Dillon Beach getaway!
Love the gorgeous view and the large open deck! The house is v spacious and super clean (we have an infant so cleanliness is v important to us). We saw a bunch of deer and quails right outside the deck at dinner time which was v cool. The stars at night are also amazing! Highly recommended for families!
From the time you open the front door you have wonderful views welcoming you. A real gem, comfy and cozy and well stocked. We rent at Dillions often, and this is one we will love to return to. You wont be disappointed!
We love this house. This was our third stay and it was like coming home. It's a beautiful home with an amazing view. Dillon Beach is so wonderful. And locally, down at the beach, the store and resort has been renovated and it is great! The restaurant is great, the store has nice offerings, the beach is dog friendly. Overall a little oasis.
We had a great family vacation and nice walks in the evening. The views are perfect and so are the sunsets. The only thing that was difficult at times was the main screen door to the patio as it would keep coming off the tracks. Everything else was great. We loved our stay â€ïž

Comfortable, family friendly, clean, great views!
We are a family of four and one dog and all enjoyed our stay. Property is as described and views of ocean are abundant! Comfortable with everything we needed. Property manager ( or owner) informed us of power outage right before we arrived and she left us 2 small lanterns that were very helpful while we waited for power to return. Very thoughtful. We appreciated our stay and would happily return. Thank you especially for a pet friendly AND family friendly rental!
Very comfortable one story house. Views from every room. Wonderful deck. Only complaint would be the cupboards were very high and no cupboard to store supplies. There was plenty of counter space and buffet space though which solved the problem. All and all a beautiful home.
This was our 2nd time staying here.3 couples and a dog. The house is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The views are amazing and the host and property manager are very easy to work with. We were concerned we would run out of propane for cooking our chicken. We contacted the property manager at 3 pm, and by 4:30 we had a new tank. Our plan is to make this an annual tradition, so we will definitely be back.
3 couples, 2 nights, 1 dog, lots of food and wine. Fantastic stay at this cozy home. Clean, well appointed, with wonderful views...of the fog! Didn't matter...we played games, watched movies, talked and read. It was truly relaxing. We would go back in a minute. Linda and John were responsive through the process, but nothing was wrong during our stay, so there was no need to contact them after we arrived.
We loved this home and location. Everything about it was perfect. I do agree with one of the reviews though about the neighbors. Garbage cans were out when we arrived and one of the neighbors put them back in the backyard while we were there. Although we appreciate their looking out for the homeowner, they should not have trespassed during our stay and just came to the door.
We had such a great time at this house. It was so comfortable, with many amenities, and the deck was an amazing way to enjoy the view without the wind. The main part of the home is open and you have a view from every window. Large gravel side yard for the dog which was not pictured, so a pleasant surprise when we got there. We thought we would have to take the dog on walks to do her business, but the yard and deck were fully fenced in so our fur baby was secure and had freedom to do her thing. We VRBO a lot on the coast, and this was one of our top 5 favorites for sure!
The home is very comfortable and well stocked and has a nice view of the water. The glass enclosed deck is very nice. The large glass panes on the deck that look out over the ocean were very much covered with a green film from the salt air so we found a nice brush in the garage and got the hose and cleaned about five of the glass panes which gave us a fantastic clear view out to the water. The pilot light on the fireplace went out on the second day but John came over in the afternoon and got us going again. Weather was beautiful all four days we were there. This home fit our budget and we were able to take our 4 pound Chihuahua rather than having to leave her home at a kennel. The neighborhood is very quiet and well maintained and my emails with questions during our stay were promptly answered by Linda. We had a very relaxing stay at this property.
We arrived trash left on floor in kitchen. Trash left on deck. Oven is disgustingly filthy along with toaster oven and burner pan rings. Not only are they unsightly but unsanitary as well. Replacement burner pans are 7.98 at Walmart maybe they should replace at least once a decade. On positive side lots of games and stuff for families. Overall if you are a clean person you will be unnerved and if your a sloppy person you might not care. One more thing the sofa and chair are without a doubt the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever sat on. I have stayed at many rental properties and this should not be listed as a premier host. I have never seen one this bad where the owner just seemed like they didnât give a s/:& about people just the money so sad
My boyfriend is already bugging me to book this location again!
We have stayed in Dillon Beach before. Our three previous visits were to the resort. This was our first time âup the hill.â Aside from two minor issues with the property-certain outdoor lighting was not functional, we had to reset the refrigerator due to an ice making malfunction-this trip was magical. Every previous visit to Dillon Beach-wherein we stayed at the resort-was wonderful, this trip was magical. My boyfriend snores like crazy and there were multiple bedrooms in which he could sleep and not bother me and my dog. There is an abundance of wildlife present up in those hills. With a plexiglass barrier around the deck greater than 6 feet tall we were able to enjoy wonderful views, lovely interactions with animals, and our dogs were unable to bother the local fauna. Each morning we had hare, quail, deer, and California towhee visit us. If there was wind, we did not feel it. The Plex last barrier was truly transformative. I could go on and on about the amenities of the house, I could tell you all of the various board games and family, friendly activities that are located within the garage and my boyfriend could expound upon the benefits of watching the Ozzy Osbourne final live performance live stream. But we will not. I will simply tell you that this is a magical location with extraordinarily friendly people in and around the neighborhood. The neighborhood was wonderful for walking dogs, there were very few fireworks, incredible sunset views, and comfy beds.
