Great place to unwind!

A true beach house

This house is what you imagine when you think beach house. The view is everything. Coffee and cocktails on the deck while looking at the ocean. Perfection. The main areas are open and spacious for family games and room for everyone to sit comfortably. We played ping ping, took walks and went to the beach. The house is very clean and had all the basics we needed. The neighborhood is all hills but that was good to work off the food we ate. Our pup loved it too. So many new smells. The beach is barely a five minute drive. We will definitely be back.

Fun family stay

The house is great for groups going to the beach. It could use some minor repairs (blinds in the rooms are missing, one toilet is a little loose, dining chairs need to be fixed).

Well maintained and stocked property

One of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in. The house came with everything we could have possibly needed to be comfortable and was very clean which is super important to our family. The views were stunning. No complaints here!

Gorgeous Ocean Views

We decided to gather for an early Thanksgiving. It was a perfect 3 days! Whale Watch is a comfortable, lovely home. 3 minutes to Dillion Beach, which was fantastic! This house had everything needed for a relaxing, enjoyable escape!

Wonderful stay near Dillon Beach!

This house was wonderful. We were very comfortable. Our family of four enjoyed the comfy couches, hot tub, ping pong table and dart board. The bedroom furniture is minimal and the kitchen is also minimally stocked. But overall we had a great visit with our family.

Wonderful home

The house was great. Very clean and well stocked. Unfortunately the garbage can was full on our arrival, so it was harder to figure out how to dispose of the trash upon leaving. Otherwise a great spot.

Easter weekend in Dillon beach

The most amazing view. We had great weather and from the houses vantage point you can see for miles in every direction. Our friends stayed at 2 other houses in Dillon Beach so we got to see 3 different properties. We definitely had the best house. Everyone wanted to hang out at our place, Jacuzzi is really nice and perfectly situated for enjoying the view. Ping pong, foozball and darts were great activities for our teens. Overall, excellent property.

Beautiful Getaway

This house is actually better than the pictures. Very clean, wonderful views and a great fireplace. Sunsets in the hot tub with wine are where it's at. The management was also very accommodating with our dogs, which was a huge plus. My only word of caution is that the dogs have to go downstairs to potty, which was a bit of a challenge for our senior Sheppard. She still loved it though. We highly recommend this home.

Nice & Relaxing

It was a nice relaxing place to enjoy nature & family. Although not as close to the ocean as expected, the hot tub was a delight. The lock box was a little challenging to use and find :) The items that were available such as kitchen condiments, dishes, pots & pans were sweet. A binder was on the kitchen counter with all the info about the house, community and rules. Communication was also great! Overall, we had a good time!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of Whale Watch has a beautiful view of Tomales Bay to the mouth of the Pacific. My family and I also loved the spa and enjoyed playing many of the games downstairs - there was something to appeal to every age group. The one disappointment was that the kitchen was missing some basic cooking equipment(measuring spoons and cups, mixing bowls, etc.)

Get away

Overall a good stay the house was clean but needs some upkeep upstairs toilet needs to be tightened up basement bathroom window wouldn’t close completely screen doors are hard to open and close downstairs one especially screens have holes and some are missing. House was well stock with cook ware and dishes. Maybe nice to have a washer and dryer installed. All in all we had a good stay

Loved Whale Watch!!

Whale Watch is an amazing property! The pictures do not do it justice. The ocean views are absolutely gorgeous and the house is beautiful! Upon entering, we were greeted with lights on, a warm fire (gas) burning and tranquil music playing. We felt like we were going to a spa. Really nice touch as it was a foggy afternoon. I was traveling with my husband and another couple so we had plenty of space and then some! The house was clean and was equipped with everything we needed. We made use of the hot tub and played a bit of ping pong but mostly took advantage of walking on the beach and taking in the amazing views. We'll definitely be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Weather was incredible the entire weekend; the house views were great. The location was farther than our original house that had a maintenance issue. Many items in the house broke while they're due to not being attended to. The window in the dining room and the sliding doors, except for one, did not have screens. So, we had yellow jackets entering the house since it was so hot that weekend we needed the windows open without screens. The house is a bit outdated, but with some minor fix-its, it could be a great house.
