My daughter and I had a great time. The cottage is close to the beach and very cozy. Nice back yard and the host was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Lovely Cottage on the Coast

We loved our stay at this adorable house. It was exactly as it was described in the profile. We loved the proximity to the beach, the stove and the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything we needed

House had a great layout and good size kitchen. Huge enclosed yard with jacuzzi/fire pit. Great location for access to the beach, 4 parking spots. We will be staying here again!

Short walk to the beach

Wonderful rustic little cottage to stay at. Nice lot and great view. A short walk to the beach and general store. You can hear the waves crashing on the shore right from the cottage. It was a great getaway for rest and relaxation for this short trip.

I've been visiting Dillon beach for 30+ years. This place is super close to a path to the beach and has the biggest backyard I've seen in Dillon beach

I've stayed here before the the addition of the updated backyard in the old existing empty lot. The view is beautiful and the outdoor area is perfect for a still day. Perfect location for a walk to the beach or soft serve at the local market.

Perfect Vacation

The Cats Meow is an adorable, comfortable cottage so close to the beach that you can fall asleep listening to the waves crash. The kitchen was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for prep and cooking, the beds were SO comfortable, and the backyard was great for watching the sunset. My dog wore herself out walking on the beach while we were there. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Dillon Beach!

Lovely redwood cottage, right next to the beach, great yard!

We had such a great stay and we didn't want to leave! We loved the cottage. The pictures don't do it justice. It's lovely! They yard is fantastic! Spacious, great deck to watch the ocean and surfers and sea birds. The location couldn't be better- it's right next to the path leading down to the beach. We can't wait to stay again!

Love it!

We lost our cabin the Caldor fries so the cozy cabin feel and look of the inside just made us all feel comfortable (and a bit sad) and like we were back at our own cabin. The property is very nice and located in a great spot neighborhood. The kids loved the hot tub and sitting on the front porch out of the wind.

The Cat’s Meow Dillon Beach Cottage

Super cute and cozy cottage. We enjoyed the view and location to the beach. Only recommendation would be to put a black out shade in the twin beds room. The wind kept knocking the outdoor light sensor on in the middle of the night. But would definitely stay here again!

It's the Cat's Meow

This beach house built in 1920 was so cozy and welcoming. An outstanding kitchen with excellent appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils. We enjoyed every minute of our short stay. The hot tub is an added benefit. So relaxing to sit in the tub and have the fog kiss your face. Beautiful! We will go back.

Our go to place!

Quiet, rustic cabin with beautiful yard. I almost don’t want to give a raving review or everyone will want to rent this place and I won’t be able to. We have been coming here about every six months for the last couple years. The cabin has everything hot tub fireplace all the TV you could want and a view of the ocean. The beach is a five minute walk away.. we will be back probably in the next six months

Cute Cottage

We had a good time at this cottage. Although small, it doesn't feel that way because of the layout. Very cozy. There is a path to the beach but I wouldn't recommend it. Getting down to the beach was not easy via this path. It's better to walk down to the parking lot entrance to access the beach. The only negative was a neighbor a few doors down the street who was hovering; ordering my husband and brother to "make sure you moved the garbage cans!" When we accidently backed over one of the orange cones they have outside to guide cars around a tight corner used to access the cottage, this person had something to say about it. Not nice. Aside from this we enjoyed our stay and will visit again but will try a different rental.

Cute house and nice ocean view.

House is nice but older. Bathroom sink needs to upgraded and one living room window needs a curtain or blind. They have a nice tv but in the afternoon when the sun hit the house you can't see it. Everything else was fine. The biggest problem is getting a hold of the manager. Two different names on listing and I have no response yet to a problem with the hot tub. I sent an email 3 days ago before we left per the instructions. The lid on the hot tub is so old and petrified that it weighs probably a 100 pounds. So payed for it and could not use it. We are seniors and can't lift that much.

Fantastic, Peaceful, Charming

Charming house with a big fenced backyard, hot tub, fire pit, and propane BBQ. All you need for a beach getaway to dog-friendly Dillon Beach. Trail leading to beach feels like your private entrance to the dunes and beach. Loved the history of the house, all the wood paneling, plus modern kitchen amenities. Communication easy with VRBO manager. We brought plenty of food for our 3 night stay as there are no near grocery stores. The little general store up the road has a few staples (eggs, milk, cheese). Plenty of chairs and sitting areas to relax in the living room and in backyard. Smart TV with Roku and streaming services. Lots of DVDs to play too. The view of the ocean is partially obstructed because of another house you can see Tomales Point and across the Bay. This in no way takes away from the house because it is just a two minute walk to the beach. We brought our own fire pit wood (you can buy a bundle on the way into town) but there was already some there for at least one fire. And there was kindling and newspaper already there. The hot tub was easy to use. House instructions in binder was helpful and also had interesting history of area. Thank-you for such a nice stay - we will return again next year.

We love this cottage by the sea! The home is comfortable and well appointed with everything you need. Beautiful ocean views, steps from the beach, a hot tub, AND it’s pet friendly! Check-in and check-out are a breeze and we just love everything about this home and the location. We have made so many wonderful family memories here and hope to make many more!

We love this little house. This is our second stay here and will be back. We have fun just sitting on the front porch watching people, dogs and deer come and go.
