This is the perfect cottage if you want close to the beach and have a cozy stay! It was clean and well stocked with cooking supplies and the owner/property manager was incredibly responsive and helpful. Very pleased with my interactions. This cottage is small, perfect for maybe 3 people. Best part is it isn’t right on the beach and away from the cars coming in on a busy weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would go back.

Weekend Getaway

For those who enjoy the feeling of being in a house when you're on vacation, you will enjoy this location. Decent kitchen amenities, a living room TV, games/puzzles, plenty to do in and around the place. Walkable to the beach and lots of great restaurants, wineries, creameries are all within a reasonable drive.

Great location

My friend and I had a blast with our two little dogs here. The place is clean, had board games and perfect for a girls trip weekend! Short walk to the beach, cute little restaurant, and amall store with basic amenities.

Relaxing Welcoming Family Space

We have stayed at this cottage multiple times, and. have enjoyed the beauty of Dillon Beach as well as the comfort and location of this cottage. We have made many wonderful memories here and our vacations here are always a highlight of our year .

Exactly What We Needed

I travel a lot and love to stay in little cottages. This place is exactly what I expected and wanted in a cottage. Cozy, comfy, a short walk to the beach, a nice view, and a place to call home while on vacation. Highly recommend and will be back.

Beautiful quaint home close to beach and store view of ocean from deck. It was a very quiet location beach is at the entrance of Tomales bay and the Pacific Ocean. Incredible sundowns off of bluffs.

Great stay at Dillon Beach! Perfect for us, and our pet. Cozy house. Great bedding. Responsive host when questions asked. Houses close together, but it only adds to the charm of the town.

Sweet little cottage for a relaxing family getaway.

We have stayed here before and are always amazed at how well stocked the place is. The kitchen has all you need - plus the spices and foil we forgot to bring. There are tons of family board games and videos for the kids as well as Netflix, cable, and great internet reception for the big kids. It's located just the right distance from the beach. This visit we had a few technical difficulties with the TV and got an immediate response and resolution from the property manager. Thank you for another great beach holiday!

Charming comfort on California's north coast

We are departing from our four night stay this morning from this lovely home. The owners have thought of everything -- super comfortable beds and pillows, well-stocked kitchen, throws and shawls for sitting on the deck when the air is chilly, art and orchids -- everything. Access to the house is easy and the owners are attentive to every need. We stayed in the house while exploring for sale properties in anticipation of returning to the Bay Area this summer, after a three year absence. If circumstances permit, we might return to Dillon Beach again during our relocation transition period.

Dillon time

Cottage is in a great location. We loved the deck to chill out in the sun and watch the surfers ride the waves. Very comfortable beds and furniture. The door in the large bedroom is really squeaky and woke everyone up at night. Screens on some windows were missing. No wash clothes to wash dishes. Other than that our family really liked it!

Not what expected and could use a clean

We love Dillon Beach and have stayed at a variety of homes; it’s a casual beach town and we aren’t picky
wouldn’t stay here again. We stayed over thanksgiving and were planning to watch some football, fox sports, nothing premium- even though this showed cable and basic tv there wasn’t any, no help from host or property management. Place could also use a good cleaning: dust on footrests, mold on shower curtain and fan was gross. Luckily the beach is always beautiful. Pick somewhere else in DB there are lots of options.

Good view/location, very small and squished.

We had a nice time at this property because the view of the ocean is pretty, and it is a easy walk down to lovely Dillon Beach where our dog could be off leash. The cottage itself is very small, which is not necessarily a problem, but basically all surfaces, shelves, closets, and kitchen cupboards are packed full of stuff - including random knick-knacks, plants and owners items. So we had a difficult time finding a place to put our stuff, like dry goods, bread, and games we brought - so that we could actually have counter space to cook in the kitchen. There was an ant invasion in the kitchen when we first arrived, probably because of all the rain, but that was a bummer. I would say that the place could use a big cleaning (walls, surfaces) and updating as it would be much nicer just open and airy. Also, note that if you visit in the winter, there is no heat in the bedrooms and the shower pressure is very low so cold to be in there. Love the area, but not sure we would return to this place. Thanks.

Cozy place!

Very cute/comfy place to stay. Went here for my moms birthday weekend. There were only a few things that were a tiny snag in our stay and I think people should know about before they book the place: 1. There is no dishwasher, so we had to wash everything by hand. Luckily it was only two of us but I can't imagine with a big family. 2. you have to bring your own wood for the wood burning stove. There is an electric heater but it either got too hot or not hot enough. Luckily there are plenty of blankets and the beds are super comfy. 3. The water pressure in the shower was not great. They probably do this on purpose to save water. Not a huge issue, the temperature still was fine. 4. There is only one small water spicket (downstairs) to wash your sandy feet off with. It was hard for us to wash our dog off in a small space. 5. The driveway is very small and steep. Its best for just one car as there is really no street parking. Other than that.. It was a great place ro stay. Lots of games, puzzles, dvds and even coloring books! They even have a roku for streaming netflix/hulu. I would stay here again.
