Adorable Beach Cottage - Private Pool - Short walk to beach

You will discover that Life is Good when you stay at our three bedroom South Walton vacation home near the beaches of the Emerald Coast. Located in the Frangista Beach community, you will be a short stroll away from the beach. Relax by your private splash pool or have dinner on the brick patio after a fun filled day at the beautiful beach. Free umbrella/chair set up included each day (March-Nov). Walk to the beachfront restaurant Pompano Joe's for a quick lunch or dinner. Fantastic shopping; Destin Commons, Silver Sands Factory Stores and Grand Boulevard are just a short drive away. For a tranquil change of pace, visit HarborWalk and watch the fishing boats come in at the end of the day or even fish yourself on one of the many charter options. Or head over to Dewey Destin's on the bay for a taste of old Florida dining and catch some beautiful sunsets over the bay. Come relax at Life is Good.

New for 2025: No fee increases for 2025. New propane fire pit and outisde seating area with big sreen TV. New large TV in the living room. New furniture, HVAC and appliances. Upgraded high speed internet.

Private beach access is provided through the Hollywood St. gate, and a free umbrella and two beach chairs, reserved in your name (a $600 savings for a week's stay) are provided. Beach towels are provided, and a beach wagon is available to help you haul your things (or small children!) to the beach.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Was disappointed in pool and decking. It was dirty and we had to clean it before getting in the pool. There were bugs all over outside furniture.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay! Everything about this property fit our needs. It is a short walk to the beach, the chair/umbrella service was set up every day, and the pool was perfect for late afternoon enjoyment. We loved every moment and made lots of memories! We would highly recommend this property!

In town for wedding

We enjoyed our stay in Miramar Beach. This cottage is very nice, perfect for small family. It was within walking distance to restaurants, grocery and the beach. Beach access was perfect, our favorite perk of this rental was the 2 beach chairs and umbrella available to us on the beach each day. We used the pool 1 day, but it was small and would rather go to the beach. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, pots and pans. The bed in master was very comfortable. Would love to visit Miramar Beach again!!!

We did not stay, the house was filthy. The master bed had a top sheet over the plastic mattress cover and that was disgustingly stained. The owner refunded most of our money, but we were unable to stay due to the cleanliness. Dust an inch

Well stocked home.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this well stocked home. Everything you need is here. We did have an issue with the air conditioning, and it was fixed the same day. The manager was very responsive. The ease and comfort of this home was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Relaxing trip

Family trip with Adult children. Thankful for the extra beach towels and plenty of bath towels. The blue desk with the charging stations was a plus. The beach was beautiful and the weather cooperated no rain! Plenty of beach time and then games and puzzles. We used the grill twice. Thsnks

Florida Vacation

We vacationed as a family with our 5 year grandson and 2 dachshunds. It was perfect for us. The backyard was great for our dogs. Kitchen has everything we needed to cook and bake. We enjoyed the walk to the beach also. The plus was a swimming pool at the home. Thank you we loved our stay

As listed, very well kept home that has about everything you’ll need for a stay; convenient location; pool was good size and the kids really enjoyed it; walk to the beach was easy and nice to have the chairs and umbrella already setup for you; will definitely be staying again

Cute house that lives big!

For a small cottage this house was amazing! Awesome outdoor spaces and more that enough room for four adults and 2 kids. Location was close to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

Average to Good overall

The owners were great about communication. To no fault of theirs...it was college spring break time so was a VERY BUSY and loud area. With that being said, the location was very good for a short 5-10 minute walk to beach. (Hollywood St entrance) The cottage was very cute; however, it was not very clean. Dust, food crumbs on mats in kitchen and bathroom vanities/mirrors werent cleaned well. The cottage had most of what we needed for week stay. Liked that each room had own tv etc. Winn Dixie grocery store 2 mikes aelway, which we used quite a bit. We enjoyed hanging out by splash pool. Pool was on the cold side so kids used sparingly. Was nice to have laundry on site so could go home with clean clothes. The owners are very good to work with and they are addressing the cleaning issue. 😀

Summer Vacation

This was by far the best rental we have stayed at while on our yearly vacation. Only thing I wish we had was a golf cart. But you can’t beat the price for location and private pool overall this was a great choice and I will try and book this home again next summer.

We've vacationed on the Gulf Coast each year for the past 35 years. We rented the Life is Good cottage from the previous owner many times - it just seemed to fit our needs perfectly. In 2021, we convinced the owner to sell the cottage to us, and now we want to share this perfect property with others.

Life is good features a wonderful outdoor living space, a refreshing splash pool, and an open plan living area that is perfect for families looking to enjoy Destin's white sand beaches. Don't leave the family pet behind - they are part of the family and are always welcome at Life is Good! The backyard is fully fenced, and has plenty of grassy areas for your pet's comfort.
