Notre location de maison de plage est situé dans la plage ensoleillée Miramar, à quelques minutes de Destin, en Floride. Il est parfait pour les couples, les familles, et / ou des amis prêts à profiter d'un séjour amusant et relaxant été !! Il est seulement une courte promenade de notre propriété pour profiter des eaux d'émeraude et des plages de sable de sucre sur le golfe du Mexique. Pour votre commodité, Le château de sable a des chaises de plage, parasols, et des jouets de plage.

Après une journée remplie de plaisir à la plage, vous pouvez prendre une bouchée à manger dans un restaurant de fruits de mer sur le golfe. Capitaine Dave propose fruits de mer, avec une salle à manger donnant sur l'océan. Pour une torsion cajun à votre repas, Kenny D's, juste en face de la rue du Capitaine Dave, a une belle gamme de fruits de mer de la Louisiane à choisir. Deux autres excellents restaurants de fruits de mer en bord de mer, The Crab Trap et Pompano Joe, sont seulement une courte distance en voiture sur la plage à l'ouest et à l'est.

Relaxing Vacation

House in a great location for the beach, restaurant's and shopping,plus added bonus of the large private pool. Also we used the golf cart for traveling to the beach,restaurants and the stores that is only a couple of minutes from the property. This location comes highly recommended

The property,location and value were all excellent. FOR $2,000 PLUS DOLLARS FOR A STAY YOU CAN AFFORD TO PUT A DECENT MATTRESS IN THE MASTER BEDROOM. IT WAS LIKE SLEEPING ON CONCRETE.

We loved walking out the back door to get in your own private pool every day. It was close to the beach. The neighborhood is very nice and clean. This place we stayed at is nice. I think it needs some upgrades. It is pet friendly. Rosemary the host was wonderful. Every time I contacted her she would respond. Thank you we had a wonderful time

Stay at Sandcastle

This was my first time using VRBO and first time renting a house instead of a condo. I had a good experience with both and the process was easy. Rosemary was great staying in communication with me and quick to respond to questions and needs. We had a great stay, felt at home. When we couldn’t go to the beach we enjoyed swimming in the private pool. We were close to the beach and having the privacy and complimentary umbrella and chairs was so nice to just sit back and relax. We will definitely do it again and recommend to anyone looking for a vacation home rental.

Great location and Per Friendly

We'd give this place an 4.5 as a whole. Our stay was great. We needed a place near the beach that would allow our 50 pound doodle stay with us. Only suggestions we have are some of the little things, knives and scissors were dull and difficult to use. Also, the grill might need an upgrade. The front burners flew flames which made for an interesting moment. Overall, we would definitely recommend it to a person with a fur friend .

A great place to stay by the beach.

Everything was great. The house was real nice and only a few blocks from the beach. The complimentary beach chairs and umbrella was great. The pool in the back yard was very nice. I recommend staying here.

Our Destin Getaway

I will start by saying Rosemary was an absolute pleasure to work with. She answered any and every question I had very quickly. The house was exactly as described and was very clean! The pool...WOW!! It was absolutely perfect! It did get a little warm but it was to be expected with the heat of the week we were there and I made sure to let Rosemary know for the next guests if it could be adjusted. We did rent the golf cart but only used it to go to the beach. There is not anything nearby like souvenir shops, or gas stations, so I don't know if it was really worth it, but it did make the ride to the beach easier, though you still had to park it across the street, and then enter the beach access that way. We struggled with the codes for the beach access and the gate to enter the neighborhood, but again, Rosemary resolved that very quickly. I have stayed in numerous houses in Destin and I have never had one give you such a wonderful startup supply as she did. The master bed was so comfortable and all the linens you would ever need were provided. Do not let other reviews discourage you from renting this home. It was truly wonderful! There are lots of reminder notes everywhere but if you take care of the property, that shouldn't bother you. The price was great and it accomodated our family well. Great place to stay!

This is our second year staying here. The house was even cleaner than our last stay. Pool is a great size and the residence is a convenient location to the beach and surrounding activities/restaurants. Golf cart is great and highly recommended for trips to beach, etc. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful Pool Oasis

This property was perfect for my family of 7 with our 2 fur babies! The beach is a stroll or golf cart ride away but the private pool and patio was our own private oasis! We would definitely rent again!

Greatest beach vacation

We had a blast at this beach house. The location was perfect! You can walk to the beach, which is beautiful! Host was very kind and helpful. She was very understanding and was willing to move our staying to the later dates due to our own personal reasons. Highly recommended!!!

Our stay

This booking for us was last minute. We were very excited to find something this close to the beach which was great. Location is great and the neighborhood was safe. The description of the property was pretty good. The kitchen is poorly stocked. The rules that hung all Over the house left us feeling very uncomfortable in the space. There are fines for everything if you damage anything etc. this is understandable however, patio furniture is on its last leg so we totally felt like it could have broken at any time. The couches are is poor shape also. Almost like you couldn’t touch anything. The house was not very clean at all. The dishes were put away dirty. We re washed all the dishes we used. I didn’t realized how dirty the floors were until I wiped up water in the bathroom and kitchen area. Definitely disgusting. The pool area had popcorn kernels all over, gum and random kid toys. The contact with the Rosemary was fine - I felt we were being watched. The trash needs to be taken out on Thursday which we set it out Wednesday night for Thursday pick up and brought can back up to house. We were contacted by Rosemary the she got a violation notice about the trash. Just over all weird. It seemed that the next door neighbors experienced the same thing they had cameras covered up with rags. Won’t go back.

Wonderful Property Steps From The Beach

Sandcastle is a gorgeous property with all of the comforts of home! The home is in a safe, quiet, gated community just across the city line from Destin. It is in an excellent location due to its peaceful nature, but close proximity to shops, restaurants, and the gulf front. The private beach access (a short walk away) with the complementary umbrella and 2 chairs was awesome! The beach attendant was very helpful and attentive to guests on the beach. The house itself is perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. It is much larger in person than it appears in the listing. All of the furniture was in good repair and comfortable. The kitchen included a lot of nice amenities for cooking, and the garage had an awesome spare fridge for the adults to utilize. Other perks included a roll away bed, fold out sofa, and plenty of room for guests in the 3 bedrooms shown in the listing. The real star of the show at Sandcastle is the pool. It is a very well maintained salt water pool, surrounded by gorgeous landscaping that really puts off the Florida vibes. It was easy to kick back and enjoy the evenings grilling and swimming. Many pool toys and floats were available in the garage. We also traveled with dogs and found the home to be very pet friendly and welcoming! I am so glad my family and pups were able to spend our first vacation to Miramar at this property, and look forward to more in the future! The owner is extremely responsive and helpful if you should have any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this property for families and pet owners.

My family go to Destin/Ft. Walton area every year. This year we strayed in Miramar Beach and absolutely loved it! The house we stayed in couldn’t have been more perfect for our family! Rosemary was always very prompt and helpful with anything we needed. I highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be back!

Avoid this property manager

Let me start by saying the house is nice and the pool is amazing. Largest one we have rented in that neighborhood. However, none of that is worth dealing with this property manager. This is the 2nd time I have rented from her. I would not have done it this time but did not find out it was her until the week of our trip as I had been speaking with someone else. Do not rent the golf cart. It kept dieing on us all week. They sent someone out to look at it and he told us it was not safe to ride it on the road. Please tell me why we would rent it to not drive it in the road?!?!? I texted Angela to tell her it still was not working. She never responded to me. Then I was told by Rosemary someone would be out the next day to look at it. We spent the whole day out and came home around 3:30 and it started so we drove it down to the beach assuming it had been fixed. I then receive an email from Rosemary informing us that the tech came by at 4:15 and the golf cart was not there so they would be charging for the visit. Literally no communication from them at all prior to this as to what time they were coming. How were we to know he had not been there? The golf cart continued to die the rest of the week and was unsafe on the road. It also made the entire house smell like sulfur. Do not waste your money on the cart. And be careful dealing with Angela the property manager. I still have not heard back from her.

Great stay, very clean, no bugs, great home and pool

We just had a fabulous week at Sandcastle. We found the house to be very clean. In fact, we have probably rented 10 vacation homes in Florida, and bugs are so common in Florida. I don’t think we have ever gone a week without seeing a single bug, but we did at Sandcastle. Not even a spider. We loved the home’s layout. Our twin girls each had their own room and a bathroom down one short hall. This worked out so well to have their own space. The laundry off the kitchen by the garage door kept all laundry noise away from them and my husband and I. The open floor plan I. The main living space was perfect. And we found the kitchen well-equipped with all we needed for meals. I loved the large pantry and the extra refrigerator in the garage. We appreciated the close location to the beach and the pool and beach supplies provided. The very large saltwater pool was fabulous, and we paid for heat, and it was well-heated which made it so enjoyable. The back patio is large and beautifully appointed with mature landscaping. It is really a private oasis. The new master bed was perfect, not too hard and not to soft. The master suite bathroom and closet were also very nice. I appreciated the beautiful mature neighborhood which was perfect for our twins and for walking our little dog we brought along. With older homes can come some older features, but we found this home to be well-decorated and we actually loved the comfort of the leather couches. It has so much character we enjoyed. Both Rosemary and Angela were wonderful to work with.

Great Location

We had a great vacation! We enjoyed our stay in the house, it had very everything that we needed, and Rosemary was very easy to work with. Only down fall was we didn't get to use the pool cause the water was too cold, we didn't want to pay the extra to heat it. The location of the house was close to everything. We will return!

Overall great stay

The house is great! The pool is perfect! The location is a little further from the beach that I realized. Having the golf cart was a perk! The living room couch and loveseat need to be replaced. And the master bedroom mattress need to be replaced. (One side is sunk in) Other than that I have no complaints with our stay. We had a great relaxing time!

My family has been coming to Destin since 2005, and everytime we visited prior to acquiring this property, we would stay at one of the condos. We loved Destin so much that we decided it was time to invest in a property of our own, so in 2010, we bought The Sand Castle. One of the best parts of this home is definitely the location. It is so close to the beach, where the water is blue and the sand is like sugar. It has the largest designer outlet mall right down the road, restaurants that are absolutely exquisite, and amusements for the whole family to enjoy.

In addition, the Destin area is home to a dozen fine golf courses, a zoo, museums, and several state parks with walking courses and biking trails. So come kick off your shoes, soak up some sun (or relax in the shade), splash in the Gulf, and enjoy life.
