Bienvenue au Sandcastle Cottage ~ Un chalet familial pittoresque depuis près d'une décennie. Bien entretenu avec toutes les commodités, cette maison loin de chez vous vous plongera dans le plaisir et la détente en un rien de temps. Sans ménager les détails, vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de vos vacances à la plage. Avec de nombreuses activités, nous sommes à quelques pas des magnifiques plages de sable blanc poudreux et des eaux vert émeraude de notre plage privée (2 chaises incluses avec votre location), 2 piscines et de nombreux divertissements en direct locaux. Great Place to Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Everything was as described, and it was well stocked with everything we needed. Great location and easy walk to beach. We also enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. It was also nice having beach equipment in the garage. Much more than we used!Thanks for a great week.

Great Thanksgiving Stay

This house was great for our family holidays. Pet friendly and had everything you would need for a beach trip. Enjoyed the space as well as the amenities for this location The pool was heated and the hot tub was nice for our November stay. It’s close to everything and the beach access was awesome too! We will definitely be back!

Pandemic Retreat

Family vacation

Absolutely loved staying here. The house was nice and the owner made sure there were extras available (toothbrushes, Q-Tips, soaps, etc.) in case you forgot something. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. Perfect week!!

Wonderful summer vacation!

This was our first vacation in Destin and we had a great time with our three daughters. Very nice house in a great location with private beach and plenty of beach supplies. We would definitely stay again. The host is very responsive and answered all our questions very quickly.

All-around great!

This was our second time to visit here, and it was just as enjoyable as the first! Everything was thoughtfully provided down to games, bicycles, laundry detergent, beach chairs and more! Jessica is also very gracious and responsive!

Clean, fully stocked, amazing

We had an incredible time staying at this property. My partner, daughter, friend and dog stayed for a week. Jessica was so helpful with tips and info. The kitchen is literally the best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental I have ever stayed in. And we usually have a love/hate relationship with our trips because mattresses are usually terrible. This master bedroom mattress was soooo comfortable. The heated pool and hot tub in the community were excellent. The area is great. This is hands down one of the best vacation experiences we have had. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves heading back to NW FL.

Perfect spring break spot!

We really enjoyed this comfortable home. The houses on the street are close together, yet it was very quiet and peaceful around us. We chose to drive when going to the beach, just because of the stuff we like to bring along with us. Happy times for our family including our 13 years old dog!

Amazing Hosts

Hosts were amazing. Property was super convenient to everything. Having the 2 beach chairs and umbrella was a very nice perk. Not having to lug those things to the beach was great. The host was extremely responsive and helpful with everything! Thank you!

Very memorable stay

My family had such a great time staying at this property. Like many of the reviews say, the host was very friendly and there are so many generous amenities. The Maravilla resort amenities are not all that... the pool is smaller with no shade and the workout facility is underwhelming. The property, itself is also in need of some updates - fresh paint and better lighting. The location is great and it's so nice to know you will have a spot reserved on the beach. All in all we had a great time!

Cozy home and vacation community in an excellent location

We were excited that when we arrived that the home exceeded out expectations. The house is lovely; the hosts were exceptional and it was so nice to bring our four legged kids with us for a change. The community is perfectly located between 98 and the beach, within walking distance to a private beach and a short drive to groceries, entertainment and restaurants galore. Can't wait to return again next year! Thanks Jessica!

Lovely Property -Will be re-booking!

First of all let me say that Jessica is an amazing host. Always quickly communicated back, super kind, and helpful. The house was spotless, and fully stocked with supplies I rarely see in a vacation rental. Comfortable beds as well. There is a propane grill, which had a full tank of propane ready to go. This was a plus for us, since we enjoy grilling, and hanging out on the patio. Easy walk to the pool(s) or beach. Very dog friendly, and safe gated community. We did not have our Golden with us on this trip, but will bring him on the next one.

Thanksgiving 2024

We decided to come to the beach for the Thanksgiving holiday, our family of four plus fur baby found this gem, we love the Miramar Beach area and Maravilla is our favorite . We absolutely loved the home, it had everything we needed and then some. So close to everything. They thought of everything. Host was Very accommodating. Gated, Perfect location, amenities, beach, shopping. This was a PERFECT best priced HOME for a family trip to a resort destination. The owners guest guide book covered all questions!! Would absolutely stay again if on vacation in Destin or Miramar Beach. Thanks again to the host!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for us for the week. Lots of space to spread out, all the little touches of home (including grapefruit spoons in the kitchen!). Jessica is a host that truly cares for her guests and was very responsive. I hope we can return some day!

Born on the East Coast and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, where I still reside with my husband, daughter, our three dogs and a spicy little cat.
I also have two "big kids". One is a Junior at Marquette University in Milwaukee and one a Sophomore at Illinois State University.

We enjoy spending time at our beach cottage when we can, and love being able to share it with others! When we can't be at the beach, you can catch us at a record shop, at a concert, cooking meals for family and friends or reading a great book.

I love interacting with my guests, and ensuring that everything is top notch for their stay. I am always reachable - day or night!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My family has been vacationing in the Destin area since the 1980's, when my grandparents would come down as "snowbirds" from Vermont. This beach holds a special place in my heart, and as I continue the family tradition, I will take pride in making sure that each and every guest returns year after year to enjoy all that the Emerald Coast has to offer! We LOVE Destin! :)

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

If you ask my guests, I would say that the answer would be that we provide all the comforts of home. We don't want you to worry about whether or not you remembered paper plates, or ziplock baggies. Bringing home doggie bags from a great meal? We have you covered with plenty of storage containers. Forgot your sunscreen? We have that, too! Need to throw in a load of laundry? We'll be sure to stock the detergent. You name it, we've thought of it. And we wouldn't have it any other way! This is your home while you're here!
