This property provided great access to the Gulf. It is within walking distance of the pier. Also because of its proximity to the state park, it was less crowded than condos further west. Overall it was exactly what we needed
The vacation home was small yet efficient. Beach access was great, and the pool was maintained well. The view of the beach from the balcony was great. We will definitely stay at this location again.
The dishes and utensils were dirty upon arrival and the place really needs some major upgrades but very well priced. Great location, not super busy, and great communication from the rental property.
I have been staying at the Clearwater condos the same week for the past 10 years. This is my 3rd yr using Vacasa and they have always been pleasant and have never had any issues. This yr I stayed in 5C and have to say Thank you to the owner and cleaning crew. This is the cleanest and best decor of any Iâve stayed in. Beachy feel but not over the top! The Kitchen cookery supplies and utinsels were the best, which I appreciate! Well stocked with assortment of pots n pans etc. The building and pool itself is not anything fancy but that is my personal preference for our group.
If you are planning on doing work and logging into a private/ secure internet then this isnât the place to stay.
It is a great location and great views. I would suggest upgrading the patio furniture with anything but the plastic table and chairs.
Ice maker took 24 hours to fill the tray. Sliding glass door did not lock. Overall was okay. Maybe look at chair rental company, paid $200 for chairs but sat far enough back that there were people setting up in front of us. Noticed two other companies had there's up closer so people could not block the ocean view
Condo used to be nice, but was rented out and abused
Where to start. The bedroom: needs blackout curtains to help block out the exterior light that shines in it all night and makes it bright as day at all hours of the day, the bed mattress is tired and needs to be replaced, squeaks pretty bad any time you move. The bathroom: not pictured in the ad for good reason. Has not been updated. The toilet needs a new wax ring or a total replacement because it smells like pee every time you flush, the shower curtain liner needs to be replaced because itâs stained and ripped, the hand towel bar and toilet paper holder are missing so thereâs no place to put either except on the .1 sq feet of counter space in the bathroom, the exhaust fan doesnât do anything except shake the ceiling in the bathroom. The kitchen is nice though we didnât use much of it, oh and there was a cockroach hanging out in there on our last morning. The living room is decent, the couch is so tired and will swallow you, it looks comfortable but isnât. We didnât use the tv. There were no wifi instructions given and no wifi network for the specific condo, we had to use one for a neighboring unit. The balcony furniture is ripped or unusable, though you wonât want to be out there because the surrounding condos are full of chain smokers and itâs not enjoyable to be out there. The AC unit does work well even though it causes condensation buildup on the windows and doors. Aspects of this condo were nice before it was used and abused by renters. Could use some more owner attention. Way overpriced for the condition! We wonât be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with the condo. We would definitely stay here again. Only suggestion would be to make sure the lamps in living room work and update coffee pot to K-cup style.
Great condo away from it all. Steps away from the beach and no stairs to get to beach. The day we didnât go to the beach, the daughter just imagined she was on a cruise ship since all you saw and heard was the ocean. Well equipped but could use some extremely minor maintenance.
There were dirty towels in the washing machine. There was a few dishes that were dirty in the cabinets. The TV in the living room was glitchy. The wifi did not work from the bunk beds or the bedroom. There was a lot of sand on the floors. It was so bad we cut our stay short and left after one night.
We liked the unit itself .It was a little better than others we've stayed in at that building. We did have problems with the Wi-Fi coverage, lots of drop-offs and slow speed. Also, the balcony door lock is non-functional.
But "somebody dropped the ball" the unit had not been serviced between tenants. It was dirty in numerous areas, the beds had not been changed, there were dirty towels in the bathroom, and the previous tenants parking tag was all that was available. We spent several hours arrival night getting these things corrected.
We loved the condo location. Was close enough to walk everywhere. And the condo had everything needed to cook, watch RV, play video games, including the games, read, books provided. The only downside was the need for a deep cleaning and attention to dryer noise. I am sure it has been rented all the time which probably explains the lack of intensive cleaning. But with everything going on, it would be advisable to take a day or two and do that. Would rent it again even with that being said.
There are only three issues and one of them can't be helped easily. First of all if you are y'all the shower/bathtub is a problem.
The main two issues are the thermostat for the AC has issues. It is very difficult to get it to set. Make sure you set it to hold if you set the temperature because you WILL wake up in the middle of the night and it will be 65. The other issue is that the dryer has a bearing going out and it sounds like a screeching banshee when you turn it on. We fired up the dryer and left the room though.
Hey it's October...maybe it really was a banshee and it was moving the thermostat!
