Welcome to mountain top luxury. This brand new custom built home, with 6 bedrooms, is designed to comfortably accommodate large families or a gathering of friends. With multiple decks to the window-backed great room and game room-panoramic, mountain views follow you throughout this home. You will be a short 5-minute drive to both Blowing Rock and Boone, North Carolina. The house is designed with a modern rustic feel and incorporates amazing long range views.

The house sits atop Appalachian Ski Mountain which is great for those fun days on the slopes. It is a short drive to the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, fishing, hiking, restaurants, shopping, and other fun tourist destinations of the Blue Ridge Mountains. During the winter months, a 4-wheel drive car is needed.

Our family of 12, eight adults and four grown "children", very much enjoyed our stay. The view, amenities, and easy access to Blowing Rock and Boone made for a wonderful family gathering. All the family took many hikes of varying lentgth and level of difficulty and then we had our evenings together.

Another Wonderful mountain retreat in the books!

This is our third time staying at this beautiful mountain home and we will be back next next year for sure! It is perfect for our group, extremely comfortable and clean, and the views are spectacular. The deck is amazing and such an important part of our stay. Deck chairs are very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of parking and space in general. We loVe it!

Beautiful views and luxury accommodations.

From the moment you walk into this beautiful mountainside house, you find yourself relaxing. Morning sunrise and evening breezes give you a sense of mountain life. Room accommodations were exactly what you needed to get a good nights sleep. Cleanliness was everywhere and everything you needed was at your disposal. Close enough for all major sites. It was a wonderful stay, and I will come back again and again

Our family cavation

We had a wonderful family vacation and this house was perfect. We had my husband and myself, a dear family friend and our three children, teir spouses and 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 7 months to 7 years. The house had ample space and was extremely well equipped. They even had toys for the kids! Each of our kids had their own master with private ensuite which was perfect for their families The kitchen was so well stocked and they even had an extra refrigerator in the pantry! It was wonderful!

A view that will take your breath away!

Everything about our stay was amazing. A special thank you to our host, Lauren, who was so responsive when we had questions. This was a family vacation and everyone loved having their own bedrooms/bathrooms with lots of room for the kids to play and plenty of parking. The house was stocked with toiletries which we so appreciated throughout the week. The view is beyond amazing and we loved being so close to town. We can't wait to visit again next year!

This is our second year staying at this property and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The home is gorgeous and the view is breathtaking! Great Stay

This is the second year in a row that my family has stayed at this house, and yet again it did not disappoint. We visited Blowing Rock to ski and snow tube. The location of this house is perfect for easily getting to ski lodges. The house is also such a wonderful getaway that we all enjoyed staying in and hanging out in the house some too. We were a group of two families, which included children, teenagers, and adults. We all loved the house!

Lovely home! House wasn’t as clean as I would expect, under couches dirty and one of the bath towels was dirty. Not enough towels for 14 people or wash clothes. Property owner super helpful and easy to communicate with. They have lots of things you need when traveling already at the home. Would stay here again

Amazing Cabin

This cabin is huge! Beautiful mountain views from the balconies. One of the best equipped kitchens I have ever seen in a rental property. Game closet packed full of activities for children and adults. Two laundry rooms and plenty of bathrooms for a large group like ours. All of the linens were high quality. Short drive away from App Ski Mountain Resort allowed us to come back the house for ski breaks. The road up to the house through the neighborhood is not for the faint hearted, it is very steep, twisty, and narrow. Not a complaint just beware. There is ample parking for multiple cars, we had 7 and there was still room for more. We were very pleased with the accommodations and would certainly stay here again. The host is very friendly and responsive.

Blowing Rock Ski Vacation

We booked this trip to have one last opportunity to gather before the kids headed back to college. The home was new, clean, beautiful views, and centrally located for easy travel to Boone, blowing rock and banner elk. The host was very accommodating and we were thrilled with the first class accommodations. Great stay, great memories!

Just what we needed for Christmas stay

Great property and experience overall. The view is absolutely spectacular. The furniture and amenities were exactly what we needed. Plenty of parking space for our group. The kids loved the bunk bed room, games and toys. The adults loved the number of bathrooms, the smart tvs, kitchen hardware and seating options. The Christmas tree was a welcome touch that really made the group feel at home. We will stay again.

Unmatched Views

Beautiful home with incredible mountain views. Most well stocked kitchen of any VRBO I’ve ever rented. Lauren, the host, was very responsive. The home has a great floor plan for large groups with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. I only have a couple of suggestions that would make a stay here even better. The upper windows in the living area need remote blinds. The sun can be blinding and it’s impossible to watch TV during the day because of the glare from these windows. Also, the lower level could use a coffee table and/or end tables to make this area more usable, and the bunk room is really only good for kids. Very cramped for two adult women with no tables, TV, or lighting. Overall, would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay there again.

5 stars all the way around!

Honestly have never stayed at a rental that was so well maintained, stocked and beautiful! My entire family and extended family enjoy the vacation. The home offers views that pictures just can’t do justice. When it comes to having it stocked, If you think of something you may need the cabin has it. The owner was so responsive and kind. Will definitely rent again in the future for our family trips!
