This cabin was perfect for our group! The beds were comfortable. The cabin was clean. The host was welcoming. The drive to get to the cabin is definitely steep. My only complaint is the trash situation. The owners only allow the renters to leave three bags of trash. With a cabin that can sleep this many people, the owners need to supply an onsite trash bin to dispose of trash. It was inconvenient to have to deal with trash while on a trip.

Nice rental for a family trip

We enjoyed our stay at the house. We had 9 people with plenty of beds left over. Would have liked more seating in the main living room so we could hang out together but we made it work. Nice place overall.

Great spring break getaway

Had a great time staying here with two families and 5 kids amongst us. Could have had a third family. 3 king bed rooms and 2 bunk bed areas. Very close to ASM and Sugar Mt. everything you need to cook in. Will be back!

Outstanding property!! Exactly as described.

We recently stayed at this property for a family reunion of 12 and had a wonderful time. The cabin is perfect and exactly as described. Updated amenities, nice porch access, everything in good working order and fast response/easy communication with the owners ahead of time. Highly recommended!!

Comfy cozy getaway!

We stayed here with a couple families and children over the New Years weekend and had a grand time! The property was very clean and extremely comfortable for sleeping arrangements for our group. The kids loved the bunk area downstairs and exploring/playing in the surrounding woods! The property managers, Arion and Wendy, were very responsive with any questions we had. Looking forward to visiting again!

Mountain Getaway

Edelweiss rental property was probably the nicest rental we’ve ever experienced. The house and location were fantastic. Communication with the owner could not have been easier. The entire family was happy with the accommodations. I would highly recommend it.

ASU graduation-family vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week in the mountains. We were there for our granddaughters graduation but took a full week to enjoy the area. This is a great location for shopping, restaurants, and hiking. The house is perfect for families to gather. The layout works well for both interaction as well as privacy. We would rent this by house again and hope that others families enjoy it as much as we did!

2nd time just as good as the 1st

We returned here this fall, stayed last fall as well. It's about an equal drive for family from Raleigh and family from Columbia, room for everyone. We were able to execute an early Thanksgiving dinner for 11 on site, can't do that with most vacation rentals in our experience.

Family vacation.

House was great!! 3 levels with king beds on all 3 plus numerous single beds for the kids was perfect for us. Roads up to the house were your typical mountain roads but driveway up to house was difficult with a narrow access. We had plans to cook, eat in, and play games so was a geeat vacation for us.

Fanstasic home for our group

We celebrated Thanksgiving and had a great time. Well equipped kitchen with high quality tools. Wonderful beds. Definitely need a 4WD vehicle to get to the house and would recommend arriving in thr daylight to navigate the last 2 miles. Host was fantastic, very responsive and accomodating.

Review of Edelweiss Lodge

The house was great. The location and parking not so great. It was difficult driving a large suv from the street down to the small parking area.

We are really glad you enjoyed your two-week fall vacation at our place. Unfortunately, mountain roads tend to not be as wide as in the city. We are a tad confused about your reference to parking since our driveway at the house easily holds three vehicles.

An awesome getaway

The property was everything described and more. It was tastefully decorated for Christmas. We did more cooking than normal because of the holiday, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, etc. The main living area is so warm and open, perfect for gathering. We had a wonderful time and hope to return!

Spacious house up a curvy mountain road. Great dining table with plenty of room for games & meals. Need to update furniture in main living area. A sectional would be nice in the space. Very quiet & roomy!

Great Multi Family Vacation Home

We had a wonderful extended weekend with both our children and their families. The house had three living areas where the families could have their own space or we could all come together. All had a great time doing various activities and we look forward to staying here again soon. The owners were great and checked in several times to ensure we had everything we needed. Thank again for sharing your home with us.

Wedding Weekend

We had a great time and the place was beautiful. The owner was so helpful with anything we needed. The only thing I wish I had know was the location of the house. It is way up in the mountain and not easy to get to in a regular car. Actually... a little scary driving at night.
