Maison Barchetta is a beautiful apartment renovated in February 2024 with 3 bedrooms +1 room with sofa bed, 2 bathrooms with showers, 2 entrances with lift, leaving room, kitchen and an outdoor area. In this 19th century building each room can accommodate up to 2 people and is equipped with double beds, TV and free WiFi.
Located in the heart of Rome , in a very peaceful street, just a few minutes walk from the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Vatican and the Spanish Steps is Perfect for visiting the beauties of Rome and its unique monuments.

Perfect location

6 adults all fit well here. Rare 3 bd with queen beds. Place was clean, communication with host was great. Allowed us to drop bags early and did their best to accommodate our needs. Location is within walking distance of all the sites in Rome. Nice open air market near by

Family Vacation

Apartment was well taken care of and very clean. The only thing wrong, was that the drains were clogged in both the sink and the shower in the downstairs bathroom. Other than that, we had no issues. The property manager had very good communication and was very informative! Highly recommended!

We had a Lovely Stay at Via Giulia

Via Giulia was an excellent place to stay in Rome, and we will certainly be returning when we return to Rome. The location was very close to many small shops, a market in the morning, and great restaurants (È Passata la Moretta was one of our favorites of our trip). Massimo was an excellent host. He was swift to respond and very accommodating!

Rome's Historic Center

Communication with owner was superb. Check-in process was easy. House was clean and stocked with necessary items. The location was central. We walked most places and felt safe at all hours.

Very nice, good location

Location was very walkable to a lot of restaurants and shops. Everything was very accurate to the pictures and description. We had a family of 7 and had plenty of room for everyone. The property owner was very easy to communicate with. We had a great time!

Cozy and convenient

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. The apartment was comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was small, but had everything we needed. We liked the location because we could walk everywhere. Easy walk to the Vatican and the Colloseum. Close to restaurants and shops.

Great location with everything we needed

First, we LOVED this neighborhood and found that we could walk to all the major sites. The only place we needed a taxi for was the train station. Second, the hosts were terrific, both helpful and attentive. We appreciated that. And finally, the property was great, very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. It worked out well as the property has 3 floors, 2 bedrooms and a bath on the 1st floor, kitchen, dining and living room on the second floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the 3rd floor. We traveled with an older person and she used the elevator to the main floor so it worked out well. All and all we were very pleased.

Great location!

The apartment was located in an excellent location quite near the Piazza Navona but on a quiet street. The door to the building and the apartment was not in great shape but once inside the apartment was clean and welcoming. The three floors were a bit of a challenge with suitcases since the elevator only went to the middle floor. The lower floor bedrooms had no windows which was disappointing. The bathrooms were modern and the showers all worked well. The living room area was quite small but not really a problem since we were out most of the time The host was very helpful and responsive and gave us excellent suggestions. and welcoming.entry to thet was a bit

Property just as it’s advertised

Perfect 5 night stay. Check in was smooth with all information required was relayed to me before hand (along with restaurant recommendations)! Comfortable sleeping quarters and unit had everything we needed. This location was excellent and was walking distance to Rome’s landmarks. Plenty of restaurants minutes from property. Will definitely stay there again.

Great Location

We had a great stay. We were able to walk most places and were able to catch Taxis or Ubers very quickly. Plenty of room for a family of 7. Lovely place to stay and Aram was very thoughtful and helpful.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this well-appointed apartment. The location is easily my favorite place to stay in Rome. Virtually everything that you would want to do and see in the city is within walking distance. The apartment has been recently refurbished and has everything you made. Very nice place!

Great spot to explore Roma!

The host was very responsive and offered great suggestions as first-time visitors to Rome for a party of 5 (my husband and I and kids aged 18 and 24). We arrived in Rome about an hour earlier than check-in time. I contacted Ramin who was at the property, and they had just finished cleaning allowing us to check-in sooner, which was perfect. We were a bit stressed when we got there just in dealing with the heat, taking a bus for the first time in a foreign country/city, then having to drag our luggage to the property. But, Ramin helped us with all our luggage to the various floors. Only cons are that there are a lot of stairs to climb, so for anyone not in decent shape or with mobility issues, this would be very problematic. Also, the mattresses were not very comfortable. Pros - responsive host, updated apartment, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, ease of access to many must see's. Bus system was easy to use as was Uber, when necessary. However, we mostly walked everywhere. Overall, think this is a nice place stay, but I would pack light to make it easier to transport luggage.

Perfect location

Our favorite area of Rome is Trastevere and this property is located just across the Ponte Sisto bridge and down a few blocks (very easy walking distance) to Trastevere. Ramin is one of the most responsive hosts I have ever had! The apartment was perfect for our needs (2 adult couples) and was exactly as described in the listing. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful place to enjoy Rome

The location was not only convenient to so many of the touring sites of Rome, it was a great neighborhood to live in during our vacation. And Ramin takes being a host to heart - providing many nice touches in the apartment, giving restaurant recommendations, and graciously answering our questions during our stay. Easy check-in & check-out. The apartment fit our family (2 adults, a teen, and a tween - all tall people) well. The common space was nice, and there was plenty of privacy among the bedrooms. I personally was amazed by how well the apartment had been modernized out of such an old building. The building has probably been carved up into different apartments multiple times in its history. Pictures are accurate. Now, if you have mobility issues, this apartment may not be a good choice. There are 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, and then the apartment layout itself is similar to an American townhome - you enter on the middle floor which has the common space, then there is a narrow flight of stairs up to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and also a narrow flight of stairs down to the 3rd bedroom, 2nd bathroom and the bonus room. For my fellow American tourists, it is necessary to remember this is an European apartment. The kitchen is modest in size - the refrigerator is 2/3 size of what we see in the States and the stove is 2 burners, the washing machine & dryer hold only a small load, and the AC is not central AC, rather there is a small AC unit in each room.
