Luxueux, chaleureux et charmant penthouse au coeur de Rome. Vue imprenable: deux terrasses donnant sur le Palais Farnèse de Michel-Ange, le jardin du Palais Spada, le célèbre dôme de Sant’Andrea della Valle, l’église de la Tosca.
De l'autre côté, vous avez une autre vue fantastique: il Tevere et il Gianicolo.
Il y a 3 chambres à coucher, 3 salles de bains, une salle à manger formelle, un salon, une salle de billard, une cuisine avec un four à bois, une table à manger pour six personnes. We had a great two weeks in the apartment. It is old, almost like staying in a museum, the art is terrific, and the location is marvelous. The amenities are older, but the place has a lot of charm.

Amazing Apartment in Rome City Center

We enjoyed being so centrally located in the city - convenient to everything! The rooftop terrace provided wonderful views of the city, and the apartment itself is an amazing piece of history!

It was very nice, older with a lot of steps in the home. They had a elevator to get up to the fifth floor museum type interior very nice though.

Great location

It was ideally located near the Vatican, the Colosseum and Trastevere. We used the bus system which was a close walk. Love having a supermarket and gelato shops so close by. It was spacious and had a washer and dryer which was so convenient. The apartment was decorated with very interesting art and a lot of books and we enjoyed the pool table.

Stepping Back in Time

This apartment's character was second to none! The building dates back to the 1700s and you can feel the old charm, but with all the modern amenities. Centrally located and with beautiful decks to enjoy listening to church bells in the evening with a glass of vino.

All as was listed

Unlike some places I have stayed, this one was exactly as promised except location which was even better than I expected. Checking in was very easy and both Olga and Manuel were very accommodating about the timing. There were four of us arriving at different times and we had no problem. I most highly recommend this rental to anyone needing up to 7 sleeping spots.

This extremely charming and sophisticated apartment lies in the center of Rome providing guests easy access to all of Rome's most celebrated sites and landmarks. The apartment is very much a traditional home and provides ample space for settling in and relaxing after a long day of site seeing. The decor is classic and ideal for someone who wants to experience Rome in an authentic Italian-style home.

This is Rome!

This apartment is extremely spacious and rustic. I loved the old world feel and decor. We didn’t get to use the kitchen but it was very inviting. The roof-top terrace was beautiful! My only minor concern was the curtains & furniture covers. I feel like they need an update/thorough washing. But the owner was super nice and helpful and quick to respond. What an amazing life they must have lived there❤️ I am thankful to have stumbled upon this property.

The apartment is beautiful, with an excellent balcony, plenty of art, paintings and books, and the location is perfect — close to everything and very convenient.However, we were a group of 6, including two elderly family members and one pregnant woman, and the listing was misleading. It advertised 3 king beds and 1 single, but in reality there was only 1 king, a pull-out couch, a single, and a double bed upstairs. The pull-out couch had a very thin, springy mattress that was impossible to sleep on, so one couple ended up splitting up — one on the single bed and the other on the couch.When we arrived, the intercom wasn’t working. Since we didn’t have SIM cards, we couldn’t call the host, and if it hadn’t been for our driver, we’re not sure how we would have entered the building.The apartment was also quite dusty, with yellowed pillows, which made it less comfortable. When we raised these issues, the host stopped replying, which was disappointing.

Sorry but the advertising was not misleading You asked for money back and VRBO did not give them to you The apartment is advertised as 3 bedrooms (one king size one queen one single be D ) plus one sleeping couch

Great location. Not really adequate for 8 adults

The location of the apartment is terrific. Walkable to all the major sites. The terrace outside is wonderful in the morning sun. AC worked well, and it was hot when we were in room. There is an old pool table in the property, but not usable due to torn felt. The shelves are filled with books on many subjects giving it a very lived in feel. The beds were not adequate for 8 adults. One of the double beds is a fold out couch in a common room. Another is a day bed which would work fine for children. It also helps if 4 of the adults are very short, as 2 of the bedrooms have extremely low ceilings. The coffee pot carafe was broken, and not replaced. Be prepared to buy or bring dishwashing soap, toilet paper and paper towels. The elevator worked fine and was helpful with moving luggage.

It is not advertised for 8 people and it was not booked for 8 people. I never accept eight guest The previous guest broke the coffee maker but there were italian espresso coffee maker of all dimensions

Great Location and amazing place

firstly, it is a great location, fifth floor (with two person elevator) overlooks Tiber, near Campo d' Fiore and walking distance to many great sites. the advert isn't exactly correct on bedrooms. it has a large master bedroom with nice king size bed and a full bath (no tub), an upstairs low headroom loft has a nice king size bed and full bath (huge jetted tub doesn't work) but shower does. There is a nice king size pullout sofa on first floor in office and a twin bed in a loft both that share a 3rd full bath) so 3 bedrooms 3 full bath and an office with a king pullout sofa. all beds reported as sleeping well. the building water pressure is funky as all showers would flow stop for a second and flow again, once you understood how it worked, it wasn't an issue.it's quite large. we ended up using the outdoor table and the TV room for most gatherings. kitchen has everything, the wood burning stove didn't have any accoutrements. no napkins or paper towels provided, a surprise to us as plating food first time.the caretaker doesn't speak fluent English but his mixture of italian, spanish, english and pantomine communicated effectively, would rent again

Fantastic location and large old apartment full of the owner's character

We loved our stay here and the location was perfect for us. I picked the property for the size and location and was fully prepared by previous reviews for both the charm and the wear of the apartment - it is in one of the oldest streets in Rome and very central. The only caution is that I did not pick up until just before we went that the third bedroom is in fact a sofa bed in the study with no closet or drawer space. And that to access the second bedroom you needed to go through the study as it is in the roof. This may not present an issue for a family but was awkward for our group. The stairs up to both the second bedroom and the daybed room were too steep for the elderly couple of the party and they could not have slept on the sofa bed due to the inevitable thinness of the mattress. The single day bed in the fourth room was too small and too hard to be of much help so in my view this is a 2 bedroom property with a sofa bed in the study. There were 3 bathrooms and 3 sofas as well as 2 armchairs in the lounge which meant that the promise of plenty of space for multiple people was there. Provided that this works for your group or family you will not be disappointed. We did not use the dining room or the room with the pool table as it was a very hot week and the air conditioning needed to be focused on the rooms we were using. As noted elsewhere the pool table is not useable and if I was the owner I would consider removing it and making this room into a proper bedroom.

Situation idéale dans Rome, Appartement de caractère , certaines améliorations serait bienvenues

Ideal pour 2 couples ou éventuellement un couple avec 3 enfants. Très bien placé au coeur de Rome: On va à pieds partout. Il faudrait juste un petit effort d'entretien général et changer l'équipement de cuisine : Mettre quelques casseroles, des couverts assortis et des verres, des couteaux qui coupent et enlever le bric à brac qui ne sert à rien: Ce serait parfait. Attention, il n'y a pas de garage contrairement à l'annonce. Le plus simple est d'aller au parking Giulia ( neuf et sécurisé) à 400 métres. Attention à la ZTL. Il vous en coutera 170 € pour une semaine soit le même prix qu'à Paris en plein centre.

Dear Danielle I never advertised that the apartment has a garage. There is a public parking garage close to the apartment ( via delle zoccolette) or it is possible to park in via Giulia or at Lunhotevere

Loved the apartment. Historical location was within walking distance of various areas of Rome. Was greeted by house keeper when arrived to apartment who gave instructions for property. We were able to check in early. Apartment spacious and incredible ambiance. Could have spent a month looking at the artwork and a year looking at the books. Kitchen beautiful with up to date appliances. Has washer and dryer. The showers are smaller than what our party is used to but that is our problem not the property. Loved staying at this property. Even our Italian friends were impressed.

Amazing Rome department

This apartment situated in the center of Rome is like a fairytale. Beautifully decorated and filled with culture. We enjoyed the terrace in the evenings and during the days it was near to everything. The only minus was the beds. Only two very good beds, the rest weren’t to good.

Great Location! Very Authentic, Italian home with tons of character!

Our stay was nice, the property was very unique and full of really neat historic pieces. We were there in the heat of the summer so the A/C wasn't quite able to keep up with the heat and some of the furniture needs a little update, so it could have been a bit more comfortable. But the location is great and the apartment is huge!

Large and quiet apartment!

The apartment is spacious. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and there was plenty of blankets for the night chill. Really enjoyed the terrace and drinking a bottle of wine. Would stay there again.
