A slice of paradise

Incredible property and hosts! The sounds of the frogs at night was magical and relaxing! Amazing location and not far from anything. We will definitely recommend this place to all of our Alaskan friends and stay again when visit the Big Island!

Island get away 💜

Exactly what we were looking for!

This cute cottage was a perfect home base for visiting the east side of the island. We loved the quiet residential location, the tropical ambiance and being serenaded by the birds at night. Our host, Ryan, provided tips and suggestions on sights to see and great restaurants to try. He was attentive and caring and was ready to help in any way. We will be back!

Great place, great location!

Ryan and Gina's place was perfect for us! I was unfamiliar with the type of digital lock, and their daughter came right out and helped me. The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. The location was great. The volcano was about a half hour away, so it was easy for us to go there both in the day and early morning to see it in the dark. Hilo was also about a half hour away. Ryan was quick to answer any questions we had and had a cooler for us when we asked. We would definitely stay there again!

Quiet , peaceful stay...

Beautiful quiet little spot. Very clean . Loved all the turtle decor. The pool was great wish I had more time to play in it. Excellent place to stay.

Lovely paradise studio with pool!

This was a great place to stay during our visit to the east side of the island. 20 minutes to Hilo, 30 to volcano, and even closer to the beautiful puna district. The place itself is clean, comfortable and cared for, and the pool was such a treat! Ryan is a great host and we really appreciated his recommendations. Thank you Ryan!

Great stay

We stayed here during the second leg of our honeymoon, and it was great! Easy to find, good location only about 20 minutes away from Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. The hosts gave great recommendations and were easy to contact. Would reommend!

This place is very cozy and convenient. It has everything you need to save some money by cooking your own meals (micro, stove, oven, full size fridge, utensils). It was very quiet and restful.

Ryan & Gina’s cottage was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!

I highly recommend this cute little cottage to anyone and ever who is in Hilo!! Not only was cutely decorated but it was so clean! It’s about a 15 minute drive into downtown Hilo and it’s close to Volcano National Park & Volcano Village. It’s Absolutely Perfect! We will most definitely be visiting this sweet little cottage again! P.S Hopefully next time we will have time to use the pool! Stephanie & Joseph

A must stay place!

This is one of the cutest and coziest places we have ever stayed at. The cottage was magical and relaxing. At night you could hear the sound of rain accompanied by birds and tropical sounds. Ryan and Gina are amazing hosts. We received a welcome text from them with details for our stay as well as recommendations on places to eat and visit. Even though we didn’t meet them in person, we felt comfortable texting them for anything we needed. The place was super clean, with beautiful decor. I wish we had time to use the pool. On our next stay we definitely will!! You don’t want to miss out on this gem.

Fantastic stay!

This property was amazing! The owners were great and offered a ton of ideas of things to do in the area and places to eat. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool because it was raining, but next time for sure!

Beautiful hosts and lovely Efficiency

Wonderful stay in Hilo…felt like we were in a tropical rainforest, yet so close to many sites! Our hosts made excellent recommendations, which we thoroughly enjoyed and their place was beautifully furnished with everything we needed! We cooked a few meals there. Be sure to try the local fruit/veggie stands for a selection of some of the best fresh food in the world. The pool was also a great way to cool off at the end of a warm day.

Great hideaway in the jungle

Exactly what we were looking for. You feel like you're separated from the city with lots of frogs and chickens to be heard. Great location to visit Volcano and not far from Hilo. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Peaceful Retreat

We stayed here for the first two nights of an 8 day visit. The space was perfect for the two of us. We loved sleeping eith the windows open and listening to the songs of the night creatures. I wish we’d scheduled another night here but we’ll definitely return some day. Thanks, Ryan and Gina! It was a wonderful visit!

11 days in Hawaiian Paradise Park

Centrally located, we were able to accomplish all our planned sightseeing on eastern and central Hawaii. Clean, nicely decorated, well equipped with all kitchen and bathroom amenities. Family pool available for use. Loved the topical vegetation surrounding the "bungalow" that included delicious guavas.

Beautiful, Clean, Peaceful

My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon and this little cottage was perfect for us! The decor is so cute and it's very clean and private. Ryan and his family are wonderful hosts, they gave us tons of privacy but were quick to respond to all of the questions we had. The location is convenient to Hilo, tons of good food, stores, and shopping. It's also only a 25 minute drive to Volcanoes National Park which is a must see! Our stay was incredible and we highly recommend this place for anyone interested in visiting the Hilo side of the Big Island (which is the best side!)
