Marvel at the ocean and mountain views as you relax in this beautiful 4th floor, corner penthouse, oceanfront condo on Maui. Exit from your private elevator directly into the thoughtfully renovated and unique Dolphin Penthouse. Make yourself cozy and get ready to create memories!
The spaciousness of this three bedroom condo easily allows six people to vacation in comfort. The condo is fully air-conditioned with separate units in each room, but you may prefer to open the sliding doors off the living area to let in the ocean breezes and experience the indoor/outdoor lifestyle of the island. The outdoor lanai extends the complete width of the condo and is accessible from the master bedroom as well as the living area. Prepare a drink at the side bar and savor it while you relax on a chaise on the large lanai, watch for breaching humpback whales, turtles or dolphins and enjoy the beautiful view of Molokini, Kaho’olawe, and the quaint harbor of Ma’alaea Bay. Watch surfers take on the the world's fastest wave, Freight Trains, right from the lanai. To your left is the impressive Haleakala volcano and, to your right, are the West Maui mountains.
The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, flat screen TV, access to the lanai, and an ocean view. Sip your morning coffee in bed while soaking in the breathtaking morning vista. The en-suite offers a luxurious jet tub, separate shower and two vanities. Listen to the waves and let them lull you to sleep after a long day of exploration. Each of the other beautiful bedrooms, a king and a queen, also has its own en-suite bath and flat-screen TV.
Relax at the end of your day on the wrap-around couch and enjoy the 65” flat screen tv, with cable and Wi-fi, listen to music through Sonos, choose a good book to round out your evening, or simply star-gaze at the vast panorama in front of you. The area:
Stroll down to the shops and restaurants in Ma’alaea Harbor, or tour the fascinating Maui Ocean Center. Excursions leave the harbor daily to take you snorkeling, scuba diving, sport-fishing, or, enjoy a romantic sunset dinner cruise. Take advantage of the condo’s central location to visit many of the attractions and fine restaurants offering local cuisine in Kihei, Lahaina, and Paia.
The small beach in front of the condo provides a more gentle ocean experience, great for children, or you could stroll down to Sugar Beach, the longest beach on Maui. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing, paddle-boarding, and kayaking. Towels, beach chairs, and beach toys are available. Easily clean up with the in-house washer/dryer. Hopefully you find everything you will need to make your vacation as simple and carefree as possible.

Amazing Lanai and Beautiful Apartment

We had the best time in this penthouse. The views were unbelievable and the rooms and bathrooms were all perfectly sized for our group.

great location and property

Perfect Location

Location was perfect. We did whale watching, fishing, snorkeling trips from the marina just minute walking distance away from the condo. The condo condition was great as advertised. Communication with the owner was smooth. We had a good time in Maui!

Great place to stay in Maui

What we liked: The view, the accommodations, the helpful yet unobtrusive owner, the well-equipped kitchen, the convenient location... did I mention the view? What a perfect place to relax and from which to launch each day's adventure. This would be our first choice for any future trips to Maui.

Beautiful place in a great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Penthouse! The condo was beautiful and the ocean view, which included seeing humpback whales in the distance, could not be beat! It was also great being within walking distance of boat tours, restaurants, and a general store. Yet still a peaceful and quiet area. And Jason was amazingly quick at responding to all of our questions! I would definitely recommend staying here!

AWESOME! Everything was perfect.

Just as described. Perfect location. We watched whales and sea turtles every morning from the balcony. In walking distance to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay on Maui

This condo was wonderful for our holiday on Maui! The location was great for our family of six! It was exactly as it looked in the photos, very clean and well maintained, and had everything we needed and more (especially for beach trips)! The view is beautiful and the beach area was great even for our teens and preteens. There’s a general store and restaurants within a short walking distance and it was a quick drive to many popular areas of the island. We would definitely stay at Dolphin Penthouse again!

After 30 Years ….

We retired and took our adult children plus their significant others to Maui. This place was amazing. Gave us everything we needed to be together. Views were amazing. Restaurants were near by to walk. Pool was perfect. Shopping and groceries were close. Loved the private elevator and parking stalls. I can go on. It’s a great spot. The penthouse absorbed 6 adults. Jason was patient and always answered our questions even when we were there. You can not go wrong. Thank you Jadon !!!!!

This was PERFECT. The perfect location. The view in the morning was beautiful and we could whale watch right from the lanai. The place was clean, gorgeous interior, and exactly what we were looking for for the two couples and one single in our group. Thank you for the ease of communication and accommodating our late check out due to our flight changing on us. We would 100% stay here again.

The best views - Turtles and Whales every day!

Amazing place to stay, we saw turtles and whales every single day. We watched the boats go in and out of the harbour daily too which was entertaining. We honestly hardly ever left the condo because it was so great just to sit right on the ocean and watch everything outside! The condo was clean, well supplied and each room having its own ensuite was fantastic. The private elevator was awesome for hauling groceries and stuff right to the condo. Jason was great to communicate with when we had a question. We enjoyed our stay, everything was top notch!

Fantastic!!

So hard to put into words how incredible our stay was at the Dolphin Penthouse. The place was immaculate when we arrived, the amenities and decor of the condo were beautiful. Jason is by far one of the best hosts we have ever had at a VRBO. Very communicative before and during our stay. I can't say enough how wonderful our family vacation was by staying at this location. Loved watching the boats in the harbor, and our grandson loved the gentle beach at the base of the condo beyond the grassy yard. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!

Amazing Penthouse Stay for Family Vacation and Wedding

We had an amazing time on our trip and the Dolphin Penthouse was amazing. The host Jason and Kim were very helpful and responsive. The place was clean and had the amenities we needed. Amazing view from the balcony of the ocean. We saw whales every morning right from the balcony. The place is walking distance to the Aquarium, some restaurants and the General Store. The harbor is also in walking distance and would recommend booking a whale watching tour. We had an amazing time at the Penthouse, even took some beautiful wedding photos right outside the apartment on the grassy area near the ocean. Would recommend staying here to others, especially if you would like the convenience of each room having its own bathroom.

Awesome Property

I wish I could give more then 5 ⭐️! Can’t say enough about how perfect this property is. Communication with Jason was fantastic. He helped with recommendations, provided crib and toys for baby, everything we asked for. Property was clean, just as described and the views-wow! Central location for all our excursions. Beach in the harbor was great for baby and 6 mile beach within walking distance was always quiet. Beds were very comfortable, having AC for each bedroom was great as everyone could sleep comfortably. Unit was well stocked with everything we needed-beach towels, chairs, condiments, cookware, etc. We will definitely look for this unit again should we be fortunate to return to Maui! Don’t hesitate to rent this unit-you will not be disappointed.

Great condo, great management

Upscale 3b 2ba condo in Maalaea Harbor, centrally located between Wailea and Lahaina and where many/most of the tour boats are based. Has its own elevator. Manager had everything ready and written down - very helpful! Highly recommended. Hope to return.

Amazing condo.

This property was exactly like the listing and we enjoyed having large beds and bathrooms in each bedroom. The location was great and we felt central to getting around the island to various sightseeing locations. The view was gorgeous and we loved watching the boats in the marina. The host was very helpful and provided a welcome basket to get our stay started in great style. He also provided a binder with helpful tourist notes for the guests to use.

Dolphin Penthouse

Spent a week at Dolphin Penthouse and only have superlatives to describe the unit, the property, the location, views and most of all working with Jason. Everything is as advertised or nicer and vacation was wonderful for all. Jason answered every question before our trip and made check in and our stay as easy as possible. He even gave an emergency ride to the airport to my daughter and grandchildren when lyft kept cancelling !!

Picture perfect location

We had a fabulous time at this perfectly located property. The condo was outfitted with everything we needed and more than we were expecting. The beach stuff was so nice to have. The hosts were great communicators and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo was beautiful, the property and location were lovely and if you plan to cook for at least a few days when you are there, you will appreciate the well-appointed kitchen and outside gas grills. Overall great stay and the hosts couldn't be nicer.

Everything we wanted

This place had everything we wanted and needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay. Great location with easy access to all parts of the island. Loved that we could sit on the lanai and watch whales and sea turtles or head downstairs and play in the water in the harbor. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and we made use of all of the beach gear (chairs, towels, shade umbrellas, toys etc.). Can’t think of a single thing we needed that wasn’t in the unit. Really appreciated the fresh fruit and bag of coffee that was waiting for us when we arrived. Jason was a great host, he was responsive to all inquiries and had some great recommendations for things to do etc. Would definitely stay here again should the opportunity come up.
