BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

Wonderful stay

Our place was exactly as described, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, minutes from all of the restaurants and shops in Lahaina. It was also steps from the beach. The community had two large mango trees, and we loved the fact we could borrow a fruit picker from the front office to pick our daily fruit for breakfast. Beach towels, chairs, and boogies boards was a huge plus! Thank you for a great stay!

This is a great unit with everything we needed. There's plenty of space for everyone. The pool area is amazing. We spent a lot of time out there. Could use a snack shack though with some drinks!!!

Great time for my family.

Very nice place. So quiet and peaceful on the property. The only thing that happened was problems with the water heater. No hot water for three separate days.Property manager got a couple of repairmen out to look at it and finally resolved the problem. I thought with this inconvenience we could get a little leeway on the early checkout time of 10 AM. I have done that before many times in Maui for a nominal fee, which I offered to pay, but no dice ! Our unit was not rented out for 2 or 3 days after we left which I thought would allow for the cleaning crew to adjust their schedule but NO WAY. Flights out of Kahului leave late in the evening so we had to figure out how to fill our 10 hour long wait (one can only shop so much). Even a couple of extra hours would have made a huge difference. I was told that I would have to book a whole extra day and at those prices I think that is a little overkill. Other than that we had a very nice vacation at Puamana! We plan on going back !

Beautiful home, clean and appealing. Great location with a short walk to the beach. Well maintained pools and landscaping. Location is also close to the Front St. strip of stores and restaurants. Great place!

Nice home away from home

Thank you, enjoyed our stay. Property was property was well stocked with all the essentials, especially kitchen. Very thoughtful to include some grains as well. Would have helped if a few more comforters were included. Wi-Fi was spotty. Clean, comfortable and practical.

6 adults in our family spent a wonderful Thanksgiving week in this unit. Location is awesome, just a short walk to downtown Lahaina. The complex has wonderful beach access and we loved the pool by the clubhouse! The unit is clean and well cared for, with welcoming extra touches. Thank you!

Overall Very Nice

Overall we had a nice stay. The location was perfect; just a few steps from the beach and very close to downtown. The condo was very nice and accommodating for our family overall, but there were a couple of issues. First, the upstairs linen closet shudder door was broken and almost fell on my 4 year old nephew, but property managers said that they would be fixing upon our check out so hopefully this is resolved before anybody else checks in. The other big issue we had was with the gas barbecue. If you intend to barbecue every night, you will not want to choose this place because the grill was filthy and difficult to start. It is badly in need of replacement. That said, it is a space that’s comfortable and spacious enough for eight people. We had a nice time.

Perfect For an Extended Family Vacation

We had 8 adults (4 couples, 3 generations) sharing this property. There was enough space for us all...the 20 something couples shared sleeping on the pull out couch. The amenities were great and we had everything we needed for our two week stay over Christmas and New Year's. This property is close to downtown Lahaina; a nice walk or short bike ride away. Beach towels, beach chairs, and sand toys were provided. We have stayed in this development in the past. You get the feeling that you are living in Maui, not just a visitor. There is not a "resorty" feel; it is quiet, and we enjoy watching the local kids playing on the lawn and the occasional bake sale.

Great family trip

We had a wonderful stay with my husband, 3 year old and both grandmas. Great place, my mom couldn’t stop talking about how well the kitchen was stocked! There was beach supplies, games, books. Close walk to beach which was usually empty and the pool. We even walked to downtown Lahaina one night! All 5s except for check in because in spite of very detailed check in noted we did not receive gate codes but I texted the emergency line and got a response very quickly!

Beautiful spot in need of a walk through by owner, easy fix to be a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location to watch surfers or walk on beach early, 6-7am. Small area to swim in and take great sunset photos. Beautiful well kept grounds & friendly area. Air conditioning unit in living room needs to be replaced, old & loud! Comfy couch & chairs. Kitchen well stocked and organized. Master shower handle was broken but usable & toilet ran but fixed with a giggle. Great local neighbors! We’ll be back after upgrades😎

We had a fantastic time- Puamana is the perfect spot for beautiful views, a clean and safe property, and serenity. The house was clean, well-equipped and the check-in process was very smooth. We will definitely be back!

A perfect getaway!

This was a much needed vacation that was originally scheduled for 2020. We had to reschedule to do the pandemic. The management was extremely accommodating to our needs and we all agreed that we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 5 stars all around!

Our week at Puamana

Our group of 6 enjoyed our week at Puamana. The location was very close to Lahaina which had many shops and a good variety of restaurants. Our group walked in and out of town several times. It is important to know that there is a pedestrian path to Front Street that is a safer route into town instead of going out to the main road. From Lahaina we went on Pacific Whale Foundation’s whale watching tour which was amazing! They are so knowledgeable and well-run. We saw many humpback whales! Highly recommend! We also went out diving with Lahaina Divers which is also very well run! We also enjoyed going to the Warren & Annabelle magic/comedy show one night. Our unit 153-4 was an easy walk to the ocean side pool which we used almost every day. We saw whales in the distance from the pool. There were two other pools, but we enjoyed the quiet ocean front pool so much that we never tried the other two. The pools and grounds are secure and nicely maintained. It is important to know that the beach is a rocky beach made up of big boulders at Puamana, not a sandy beach. We drove north to a nice sandy beach one day, Kaanapali Beach, parked at public parking at The Westin Hotel. Our unit was very comfortable for 6 people, but we thought it would have felt cramped had there been 8 of us. Two people would have had to have slept on the sofa in the living room had there been 8 of us. The kitchen was very nice and spacious and stocked with essentials. The laundry was just off the kitchen and was very handy. There was a nice lanai with seating for six and a storage closet with sand chairs and other water toys. The living room had very comfortable furniture and large TV. The 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths were very nice. The only problem we had was the master bedroom AC had a very noisy sound which made it very difficult to sleep. Faith, the property manager, was very responsive to my text. She first sent out a service man who attempted to fix it but soon realized it was beyond repair. It took a couple more days, but he was able to locate a new AC unit and replace the broken one. After that we were able to sleep comfortably. We also mentioned that the screen door was askew and didn’t hang correctly, but the service manager repaired that quickly. We were very happy with the property manager, Faith, for responding promptly to our requests and offering to reimburse us a bit for having had 4 sleepless nights in the master bedroom with that old AC unit’s noise.

If you bring young kids keep in mind they really don’t have a great pool for the kids,

The condo was very nice, kitchen was awesome, bedrooms were great , very comfy condo. The cons 150 steps from the water very misleading, try to get there without infringing on someone else’s privacy . Go online and do an overhead view. And AC was very loud . Very little beach if any. All in all 85% awesome.

Fantastic location! Loved the privacy of the gated community. Loved walking across the lawn to the beach and watching the whales and turtles. Owners were VERY accommodating. Our group of 8 slept very comfortably. AC worked well. Kitchen had everything for our needs. Mahalo!

Not as advertised

Property was supposed to be by the ocean with a view and within easy walking distance to stores and shops. Our ocean view was of the side of a condo with a hedge in between and we had to walk three blocks to get that ocean view. The easy walking distance to shops and stores was a joke unless a person likes doing marathons. My overall impression of the property was it sucked.

Puamana Maui vacation-everything we wanted

We had a wonderful stay at this location. We travelled as a family with our three kids, my mom and my brother so all needed space and this unit was perfect. Lots of room, three bathrooms and a quiet upstairs where the bedrooms are all located. The kitchen was very well supplied and we loved having the BBQ on the back patio. Easy to walk across the quiet street to get to the beach where we spent most of our days. The pools were also fun and didn’t feel the need to venture out much as we had everything within the complex. Lots of beach toys, chairs and bogey boards to use. The air conditioning was great as it was hot during our December stay. We would recommend this unit to anyone and hope to return again!

Less than 100 ft from the beach. Nice pool. Closet full of beach goodies to use. Plenty of AC, while it was hot. Enjoyed our stay!

Maui vacation

The property was in a wonderful location. We had some issues but were handled very quickly with the property management. Other than the toilet leaking into the ceiling downstairs, roaches, ants, and mice. We got through our vacation and still managed to enjoy our stay. Hopefully the maintenance team will do some heavy deep cleaning.

1st Timers in Maui😊

Property was very nice and met our needs. We enjoyed being able to have all our family under one roof. Nice short walk to the beach. Never had the opportunity to use the pools but they appeared to be very nice as well.
