Enjoy views of the ocean and Block Island from the 1st and 2nd floor balconies along with private access to The Village at Sand Hill Cove beach in this stylish condominium. Walking distance to the Block Island ferry, renowned George's of Galilee restaurant, quaint new Tiki bar on the beach with nighttime live music and minutes drive to Point Judith Lighthouse and multiple town/state beaches. Built in 2011, this 2 bed 2.5 bath townhouse condo with an open floor plan has it all!! Hardwood flooring throughout, stainless steel appliances, upgraded kitchen and bathrooms with natural stone tiles. Open the doors and windows and enjoy the cross breeze and sounds of the waves crashing on the beach or close the doors and relax in the comfort of central air. The 1st floor entry is from a covered porch that leads to a small mudroom with natural stone flooring and storage closet. The second level has an open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, guest bath, living room offering ocean views from the balcony and furnished with a fold out couch for extra quests. The top floor has a master suite with full bath including a tiled shower and it also has a private balcony offering gorgeous ocean and Block Island views. There is a second en-suite bedroom with full bath offering beautiful views of the fishing and Block Island ferry pier. Lastly on the top floor is a hall laundry area with washer and dryer. We are new owners and new to VRBO and we are committed to making your stay as memorable as possible!! Being locals to the area, you will have the comfort of knowing we are available at any moment, yet will ensure your privacy and only be present if requested.

Excellent location & gorgeous home

This was an exceptional property. Every detail has been attended to - comfortable furniture, beds and a fully equipped kitchen. Check in was easy and communication with Jim was easy and prompt. And the location could not be better! We thoroughly enjoyed George’s of Galilee for dinner and Champlain seafood as well. I highly recommend this property!

Everything was perfect. Location is excellent for the Block Island ferry and restaurants. This property does not disappoint. The beds were excellent. The kitchen is stocked with more than you could need. The short walk to beach makes this the perfect spot.

Had a wonderful week!

The condo was perfect for a girls trip away, beautiful, spacious and welcoming! Loved hearing the seagulls and the private beach was lovely! The location of the condo was perfect for exploring other parts of Rhode Island, its different beaches and beautiful scenery! Also close to the Block Island Ferry which was great for a day trip there. James, the host, was very responsive to all my questions too. I miss Rhode Island already - this was my first visit there and I can’t wait to go back! I would definitely stay here again!! Jeanne

In need of a vacation

Lovely property and location. Good communication with owner. Food was excellent in the vicinity around the property. Good trip across to Block Island. The early evening walks along the beach were stunning and the weather for the week was spectacular for October.

Beautiful inside and out

We stayed at this condo for a mid-week getaway and had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Walks to the beach, sunset, and delicious seafood. The views from the place were incredible! The condo was so well appointed and comfortable, we didnt want to leave. We are looking forward to returning soon.

Great home with water views

This is a very well maintained and equipped water view two story condo near places to eat and block island ferry. Also 30 minute drive to Newport. Host is top notch, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Good time was had by all.

Fabulous Condo

Firstly, the host is top notch. Extremely quick to respond and very professional. I can't say enough great things about this condo. It is rare that a VRBO rental is better in person but this is one of them. The interior is beautifully appointed and you can see and hear the ocean from the balconies. Highly recommend!

Room with a View

Wonderful stay! My husband and I being seniors had concerns of all the stairs. Happy to report with the railings and wide steps it was not a problem at all! The view from main bedroom was amazing....we could see the ships and ferries sail by. Parking is a big plus. Beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped. Would love to stay again.

Bright upstairs condo in great location

Pros: good communication with owner Nice location Convenient 2.5 bathrooms Airy design Great for our use Cons: Air quality - slight beach musty mixed with too much chemical air cleaners Skimpy supplies- less than 1 roll toilet paper per toilet for 6 day rent. Had to bring our own supplies- this is not the norm for beach rentals in our region of country. Steep staircases. Noisy inconsiderate neighbor - downstairs tenant played loud music in his truck outside At 4 am! Had to be asked to stop.

Perfect house , great location.

Our second year here. We have stayed at other houses at Point Judith and nothing compares to this one! The condo is clean, bright, and comfortable There are beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards and umbrellas (super helpful not to have to pack all the beach stuff when traveling!) The views are amazing! Love waking up to the boats and ferries and sitting out on the deck in the evenings and listening to the waves. The walk to the beach was one of many reasons why we will continue to come back here! Quick and easy and after dinner we go back so our boys can run on the beach and we can watch the sunset We love using the clamming rakes that are provided and going clamming. The house is stocked with everything you need, Huge lobster pot and lobster crackers! Jim is very responsive and helpful!

Wonderful vacation spot.

The house was just as described. Very clean and updated. The decor is fresh and simple. Beds are very comfortable which is always important. There is everything you may need from beach chairs, umbrellas, and games, to a fully stocked kitchen complete with a great lobster pot which is a must considering where you are staying. Quick walk to the beach, although we found other beaches which are nicer and a short drive away. James was attentive and quick to respond to questions, a great host. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Narragansett area. Only thing I would recommend adding is a full length mirror in one of the upstairs bedrooms, which was a request by my daughters. Other than that everything was great. Thank you James.

Perfect beach week!

We stayed for the week with our two boys (ages 7 and 9). We have stayed at a few other houses in Galilee/Point Judith over the past few years and we all agreed this one was the best! The location cannot be beat. We parked our car on arrival and only used our car once to go to the grocery store (Stop & Shop is conveniently located 10 minutes away). Salty Brine Beach, restaurants, shops, fresh seafood right from the boat and the Block Island ferry are all a quick walk. The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was clean, bright, updated and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. It was very helpful to have beach toys, chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas so we didn’t have to bring our own. There were many board games that we all enjoyed too! Clam rakes and bucket were also provided so we tried clamming for the first time and that was one of the highlights of our trip! We enjoyed walking over to the beach to watch the sunset after dinner and watch the boats and ferries coming in and out. Jim was always quick to respond and very helpful! Waking up (and going to sleep) to the view from the deck made it very difficult to leave this house when our vacation was over

We are a young family with a deep love for South County. Though our main house is only a 10 minute drive from the condo, we wanted something close to the water that we could enjoy as a family and also afford us the opportunity to allow others to experience all that Southern RI has to offer!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We looked at many properties and fell in love with this one the moment we walked in. The location offered everything we were looking for from the unit itself being of newer construction with all modern amenities to the close proximity to the ocean and the private beach access was a definite selling factor! We wanted a "home away from home" that truly felt like we were hours away from our normal day to day grind, but was only minutes away.
