Enjoy your days relaxing on your own private beach just steps away from your front door or at the other private beach and community pool in Bay Creek just a quick drive away! Head over to the Marina where you can rent kayaks or boats for a day out on the bay! If all of that seems like too much, then simply sit back on one of the decks with views of the Chesapeake Bay or the marina and lounge away with a drink in hand!

Walk through a private walk-way to the Oyster Farm Seafood Eatery for great seafood and drinks whether you are enjoying a romantic date or a family affair. Head into the historic district of Cape Charles to enjoy the shops and fine selection of delicious restaurants, our local brewery and even our very own distillery 5 minutes away!

Back at the home, enjoy a state-of-the-art kitchen with top end appliances. The home is fully decorated by award-winning Kenneth Byrd (www.kennethbyrddesign.com/press/) personal showcase! Three bedrooms are on the ground floor 3 boasting super comfortable queen sized mattresses and our kids room with a twin to full bunk bed set and a double twin trundle day bed set. On the third floor you’ll find two master suites, one with a king bed and one with a queen! Leave the kids downstairs and enjoy the privacy up on the crow's nest and pour yourself a drink!

There is no better way to escape the every day hustle and bustle then with out beautiful home in Cape Charles, VA!

Nice and as described.

Communication was good, quick and easy. There were some things that needed to be addressed and I have spoken to the owner. All is good with that. We would stay again! Nice, clean with beautiful views!

Amazing home

We had such an amazing stay, and a gorgeous home! Everything worked out so well, especially having a short walk to the c pier! The housekeeper was awesome too! Loved the master suite, the upstairs living room, the huge bathroom and the sun deck. We had everything we needed and made use of the little things there for everyone — beach chairs etc. The home owner was wonderful to work with and communication was smooth. Our parents, brothers and their wives, and three kids had the space we needed and everyone was comfortable! We will never forget this experience and the hospitality! One of the most gorgeous homes I’ve ever stayed in.

Great house, perfect for large family!

House is beautifully decorated. Very close to the beach - public access is just five houses down. Beach area was so quiet and private, we never had company. We rented bikes and a kayak from Poseidon, highly recommend - they are awesome. Did not use the canoe that came with the house since it was buried in the backyard. The porch is awesome, has a lovely swing and looks out to the water. There are also a few rocking chairs that make it a great place to hang out! House comes with all linens including beach towels plus most bathrooms had hand soaps and shampoo/conditioner which was awesome!!! The kitchen has a lot in it but there were some basics missing. We messaged the host and the next day his cleaning lady dropped everything off. That would have been fantastic if she hadn’t delivered it with rudeness and a major attitude. Hopefully that is addressed before the next guests stay! There are no laundry baskets, BYO if you plan to do laundry. There are a bunch of beach chairs, sand toys, and balls. We brought most of our own but knowing what’s there I would have packed less!

A great stay!

My family and I traveled to Cape Charles over the Fourth of July and had a really great stay! The location of the property is awesome - the gated neighborhood is pretty quiet and great for walking or running in the mornings. It's a short golf cart drive away from the public access beach. The house is lovely! Very much like the pictures show. There are some areas and some furniture that are showing some wear, but all in all, it's a really good layout and an impressive home! The beds and linens are SO COMFY, and the sheets and towels were very clean! My only wish is that there was more hand soaps in the bathrooms when we arrived, though this wasn't something we brought up to the owner because we ended up just grabbing some at the local grocery store. Some did get dropped off inside the home on our second day, though we found it a little odd the owner/property manager didn't let us know someone was stopping by. All in all, it was an awesome stay at this house, and we want to thank the owner so much for letting us use their home for a much-needed family getaway! I definitely recommend the property for the location, layout, and cleanliness/comfort of the bedrooms!

Beautiful Beach House

The house has a nice layout, and is equipped with modern amenities. Location is very near the water with some views. It was a bonus to have beach chairs (in great shape!) and beach towels included.
