Bedding Falsely Advertised - Disappointed During 4th of July Stay
We booked this condo for the 4th of July based on the listing that stated it had 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and 1 twin bed. Upon arrival, we found 2 king beds, NO queen beds, a twin-over-full bunk bed, and a queen sleeper sofa — a very different setup than advertised and a queen sleeper sofa is not the same as a queen bed. The beds did not comfortably accommodate my family, but due to the holiday, there was no availability elsewhere so we had no choice but to make it work. The manager did have a queen blow up mattress delivered, but that is still not the same as a queen mattress.
On top of that, the kitchen was missing basic essentials: there were no beaters for the hand mixer and no baking sheets making it hard to cook meals during our stay.
After multi conversations with the office and the manager, I was assured by the manager that I would be compensated after our stay. The compensation I received was a small fraction of the total ($100.01). This was more a slap in the face, and not Vacasa truly compensating me for their mistake.
To be fair, this condo is very nice, but I would not have booked this condo for our family vacation if the listing had been accurate.
Very disappointing experience for our family holiday vacation. We will not rent from Vacasa again.
Side note - The listing has still not been corrected!
