Good Location Poor Customer Service
Overall, we enjoyed our stay - but if you value your sleep, do not rent this unit.
We knew this was a studio with an adjoining door going in, but didn't realize how incredibly paper thin the walls are. We had horrible neighbors next to us who stayed up all night. I called the office several times during posted office hours to try to get moved to a new unit and got no answer, so I left a message. I finally got a return call more than 24 hours later, after we had already checked out and was told nothing could be done because I didn't lodge the complaint during quiet hours. Just dismissed the fact that I did try to call, left a message, and didn't get through or a return call - but whatever Vacasa. He also suggested that I not rent a studio on my next visit.
The mattress in this room is as hard as a rock. Truly uncomfortable.
This unit is right next to the elevator (like 10 steps). Convenient when going to the pool or beach, terrible for sleep.
The unit is in a great location for going to the pool and beach. It is a little walk to the beach, but it isn't far at all.
If you stay here you do not have access to Pickle Ball courts. We found that out the hard way. All the equipment rental for Pickle Ball, mini golf, etc. is at the Tides building and is all located together. Once we got to the Pickle Ball court, we found a lock box on the gate requiring a code. I called about that and they said that only Tides residents have access to those courts. Misleading when equipment rental is all from the same place and we were given the equipment. So heads up there to the next renters.
Knowing what we know now, we likely would not rent in this building in the future.
