We very much enjoyed our stay in this perfectly located, clean, comfortable home. We would definitely stay again. We especially appreciated the well appointed kitchen and proximity to the slopes.
This is a nice Tahoe/Northstar condo at a great rate, especially for the summer. The 3 bedrooms were nice for my 2 kids to feel like they had their own privacy.
The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware. Guests find plenty of blankets and some space heaters and fans in some of the closets. Master bedroom has a queen bed and stays cool as it's on a lower level.
Love that the condo has access to the Northstar pool, tennis and pickleball courts.
Beautiful condo and great for our family trip. Kitchen was fully stocked so we could cook at home. TV and WiFi and games, bathrooms fully stocked. We didnât try the fireplace but we were cozy anyway. View was gorgeous, even better when it snowed. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
My family of four stayed for two nights and had a lovely time. I had to stay and work while the boys went skiing but there was plenty of space and the internet worked great. It was really easy to take the shuttle to Northstar by using the app. We also played in the snow behind the cabin which was great.
Beautiful condo. Really great location. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms were very nice. Giant couch and fireplace were perfect for us.
Only issue was there were no instructions for what to do when leaving the condo and no dishwasher soap. But overall it was a perfect place
Nice location and condo, but needs some deep cleaning
If this place was clean, it would be 4-5 stars. The location was great and the place itself is really nice...it was just dirty. Dirty dishes, bathrooms, kitchen...everything. If someone did clean the condo before our arrival, they definitely need someone to do a quality check. I'm usually not very picky on a guys mountain bike trip, but everyone in the group was on the same page that it wasn't usual standards.
It was a good size and location for our family. Well stocked kitchen. Patio and grill were filthy. We had to clean both ourselves in order to use them. Downstairs bathroom needs towel holders and hooks fixed... they are falling off. All in all, we were comfortable here. Front bench cushion needs replaced. Looks filthy. Only a 3 star due to the above mentioned.
Nice location surrounded by big, beautiful pine and fir trees. Convenient to Truckee and the lakes. Nice to have books about the area. Had all the amenities.
Our trip was on the 3rd week of March and there was snow but melting. The forrested view outside the back patio slider is really nice. The unit was well cleaned and the kitchen is nicely appointment. The unit comes with parking passes for the lot out in front which was basically empty during our stay. Additionally there are two passes for the fitness club. I've been to the club before which has a pool and gym many years ago. It used to be free, but my understanding is that it is now $10 a person. If I had known about these club passes I would of brought my swim suit.
On to the areas of improvement. The main one was the heat. There are two thermostats in the unit. The lower thermostat controls the heat in the house. The upper thermostat does not do anything besides tell you the temperature. Despite having the heat in the 70 range during our stay the heat never reached beyond 65/66 degrees at either the lower or upper thermostat. While it's doable to make it work we were always cold and never really comfortable. It wasn't great hearing my kids and elderly mom complain about the heating situation and spending hours texts vacasa about the issue just to finally settle on "we will deal with it". The TV remote was dead so I had to shuffle the batteries over from other remotes in the house. I was unable to light the gas fireplace which would of helped to keep us warmer. The bunk bed is very wiggly/unstable rendering it somewhat unusable. Even with issues we will return! Thank you
