Bienvenue à Sand Dollar Condominiums à Daytona Beach Shores! Ce condo au huitième étage dispose d'un mobilier magnifique et d'une vue imprenable sur l'océan depuis la chambre principale, le salon et la cuisine! Votre séjour comprend tous les équipements de style complexe de Sand Dollar Condominiums, tels qu'une salle de remise en forme sur place, une terrasse ensoleillée en bord de mer, une salle communautaire, une piscine chauffée (saisonnière) en bord de mer avec bain à remous, 2 saunas et un parking sécurisé.

Lorsque vous entrez dans cette unité, la vue directe sur l'océan vous coupera le souffle! Le balcon en bord de mer est accessible depuis le salon ainsi que la chambre principale. Le salon comprend un mobilier en cuir confortable, une grande télévision à écran plat et une vue imprenable sur l'océan. One of our favorite things to hear is that guests found their own little slice of paradise during their stay. We found out Spectrum is digging up new lines in that area to upgrade everyone's internet so there have been some outtages and slowing of service as well, temporarily, as they get everyone upgraded.

Winter Vacation

This is a great location, handy to everything. It is a nicely laid out unit and quite roomy. Kitchen has nearly new appliances and mostly everything else you might need. Would definitely go again. Daytime noise from the balcony renovations were sometimes loud but should only be temporary.

Beautiful Condo!

The condo was not cleaned when we arrived and with it being after 5:00 they didn’t have anyone to clean the condo for us that night. We had to wash bedding ourselves. However the condo is beautiful, well equipped, great location and we enjoyed our stay very much. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location

There were several items that required attention. But property manager was part time and we could never meet up with him/her. Lobby door was inoperable the entire visit. We had to use the lobby entrance as that was the only handicap parking space. Door to apartment was hard to open as the closer was broken an would scrape the ceiling. The unit was well equipped and clean,

We are actually a full time rental agency and we list multiple ways to contact us in the app and listed in the unit itself. We do have an answering service we use for afterhours emergency but if it's not an emergency we will call you back the next morning. As for the lobby entrance, condos commonly undergo routine maintenance and the main entrance was being worked on for a few weeks so the side entrance was open for your use. The only thing I have record of you calling about is the unit door. In Florida we have severe humidity and this causes doors to both swell and shrink. That is exactly what happened here and there's nothing to be done about it and it's common all through the state. On beach-side properties like this we can't install metal doors because of the salt corrosion so wood is the only realistic option even though it does swell and shrink with the weather. It is still very secure and fits in the door frame year-round even if the doors can stick slightly in the warmer months.

The kitchen and bathrooms were updated but the rest of it needs to be more modern. The mattress need to be replaced. My husband and I slept in separate rooms because of it. One was too hard and one was too soft. Disappointed

We are unsure why you had expectations of a full unit remodel when we do accurately show the interior as is when guests book the reservation. The mattresses sound to be ust your personal preference as they are all less than 2 years old.

disaster and disappointed

We were unaware of the extent of the renovation of this property, upon arrival we were greeted with ear plugs do to the noise. Additionally we were right next to the renovation. The unit next to us had supports on their deck with holes in the concrete , we did not feel safe !!!! We arrived on Saturday so we did not know how bad the noise would be. On Monday our apple watches register unsafe levels of noise. Under no circumstances would we recommend this property or the coastal realty company that managed the property. The management company could not say anything except we signed the contract. That was the the extent of their help. We feel the information with the extent of the renovation should be on a separate email. We left the unit and had to relocate and find another rental for the week costing us additional rental fees doubling the cost of our vacation.

However, we did and do fully inform guests of this noisy concrete work and all other construciton impacts. We are both extremely clear and specific in the listing description. We als definitely did and do send an automated email right after booking reiterating all of these impacts and asking guests to confirm they are fully aware. You yourself did reply to this email confirming. We are very confused why you have said this in your review and why you have left a dishonest, negative review. When you called, we never simply said you signed the contract but we did point out the information in both the description and in the reminder you confirmed after booking. The noise that warned you about was happening so there was nothing more we could or should have done.

The office was not very helpful with how to get around in the condo. We had no idea about the parking garage, there was no one at the condo office for us to get info from and we were not told about the code for the gate. Thankfully we ran into a custodian who filled us in on all the info.

Things I would have liked to know before arriving are listed below:

1. That we were given the code in advance for the door opener keypads. 2. That we were given the wireless bluetooth code for the resort prior to the visit. I tried multiple times to reach the Oasis Luxury agent for help but did not get a reply. 3. That the bluetooth when connected only lasted for about an hour and could only be used in the room. 4. That the garage was located under the resort at the north end of the the building. 5. The unit's door had a loose hinge and was very difficult to open. The Oasis Luxury office was closed for the weekend so the door didn't get fixed until Monday. 6. That there was only one beach chair available in the unit. Once the above items were addressed, mainly from other visitors at the resort, we settled in nicely. But the first two days were awful. It would have been nice to know the codes in advance.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to provide Oceans Luxury Realty with your honest feedback! I'm sorry to hear that our property did not meet your expectations. It sounds like you did not use our app. We send an invitation to download our app a few times prior to your arrival and the email states that this will include all arrival instructions and property information. The email also states that if you are reluctant to use the app to let us know so that we can print out the information for you. I have a record that the call you mentioned happened afterhours. We did call you back the next business day morning as it was not an emergency, but we did resolve your concern about the lock being loose the next business day. It was still secure, just getting a little loose. As for the beach equipment, the way we operate is that we do not list beach equipment as an amenity at any of our properties because salt corrosion can make items unusable after even just a few uses, especially if not rinsed off after use. There is typically beach equipment at all of our properties left by both owners and guests and it's just a bonus for our guests but what is available from stay to stay cannot be guaranteed.
