Was pleasantly surprised with the updates to this condo. It has a great view and was decorated nicely and felt very welcoming.
Our family enjoyed our time and can't wait to come back.
Loved it! The condo has been upgraded since the photos. No more carpet and the beds were comfortable. The view is about the best youâll find and the amenities didnât disappoint. Overall, great stay for family of 5 with little kids.
We loved the views of the ocean and dunes from bedroom, balcony and living room. Condo was exceptionally clean and offered all the conveniences of home. Management and staff were always available, attentive and courteous and made sure all was well. I would recommend this property to others.
Not so awesome accommodations.
Master bed had visible impressions from people where they have slept. I'm guessing the matrass must be...old. Cheapest plates to eat off. Cheapest toilet paper you can find, we bought our own. We have stay in many condos/timeshares in Hilton Head. This condo felt like it was owned by a corporation trying to get the most profit and not owned by an individual/individuals.
The check in process was fine, impersonal, but that's ok.
Again, the view and location is worth the cost and the grounds are nice.
Loved the oceanfront!! Less than one minute walk across bridge and your feet are in the sand and a few steps to the ocean!! Full kitchen in villa 2 bedroom 2 bath and washer dryer in villa so exceptionally handy!!
Everything was nice. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Only downfall was one toilet was broken upon arrival. Called the front desk about it and they never did anything about it or called me back about it, so we had to share one bathroom the whole week. One elevator was down upon arrival but the maintenance people had it fixed in a few days. Overall great place and would rebook and recommend.
2502 Island Club had the most beautiful view and a large balcony to enjoy it from! All the beds were surprisingly SO COMFORTABLE! Best part of the day was crashing after a long day on the beach. I really wish the unit had a keyless entry, but wasnât a deal breaker. My only small complaint was the bedrooms temperature seemed to run a little warmer than the common areas. Other than that, a perfect stay!
Love the Island Club community for a family trip. The beach is very convenient, plus there are nice playground and pool areas. This unit was fairly clean and nice, although the furniture is dated. I was surprised to see carpet in the living room, as a hard surface would have felt cleaner and nicer.
Loved the view. Right on the beach, with a full picture of what is going on. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely.
Trash had not been emptied from previous occupant and no replacement plastic bags were supplied. Take everything with you, as not even salt and pepper were supplied (there were salt and pepper shakers, but they were empty).
Needs updating and additional supplies: outdated dusty furniture, chipped plates and bowls and shortage of dinnerware. Many electric outlets did not work nor TV in bedroom. Elevator to our floor was broken, so it was difficult to carry luggage and groceries up the stairs. No one warned us of this in advance. Beach view and beach were beautiful, however would select a different unit the next time if this place isn't cleaned and updated.
The location of this unit is amazing! We loved enjoying cocktails on the balcony with the ocean below and stars above. And beds were comfy which was great. Aside from that the unit needs a big cleaning! When we arrived there was a pile of cracked dishes on the counter from the previous tenants (presumably) with a note declaring their disgust. Why the cleaning staff left this is beyond me. Also, apparently there was recent work on the A/C panel in the ceiling. It was covered with black handprints which was gross. There was also a dirty paper towel left on the floor in the living room. Finally, there was mold in the carpet by the master bedroom entrance to the balcony. Again, this one needs a thorough cleaning with much more attention to detail!
Arrived to a malfunctioning AC unit with water all over the floor. Even though it was fixed within 4 hours, we were left to clean up the mess on the floor and the repair person left behind a filthy access panel. Carpet was not vacuumed and is worn and stained. Cloths washer was unusable due to mildew. Most of the plates, cups and glasses were chipped or cracked. The view of the ocean is wonderful but ruined by old and rusted patio chairs that leave rust stains all over the deck of the patio which looked like it had not been swept for awhile. Furniture is tired and one table is in need of repair. The chrome toilet paper stands in both bathrooms were totally rusted out and disgusting so we moved them to the closet. HVAC vents in ceiling were dirty and looked moldy. Such a disappointment since the Atlantis is an excel location and the unit had great views.
This property has a great view of the beach/ocean. Great access to the beach. And the location overall is very good. The unit itself is showing some wear and tear. It needs painting, refreshing of the furnishings. No ice cube trays, no coffee filters. One roll of paper towels. One trash bag. If you are going to stay more than a few days bring kitchen consumables. That said it suited our party well.
Great location and well-equipped condo; some deferred maintenance needed.
Location (facing the ocean with easy access to beach) is incredible. Condo is well-equipped with plates, untensils, and lightening-fast wifi. Some deferred maintenance (mold-coated interior of dishwasher, circuit breaker that tripped every 45 minutes to 1 hour (only powered two lamps and several wall outlets used for charging electronics). Maintenance was quick to respond with bleach for dishwasher and running several "sanitize" cycles took care of the mold. Maintenance merely reset the circuit breaker (which then tripped again 15 minutes after they left--but we just kept resetting it once an hour or so every time it tripped rather than calling them again). Exterior door from master bedroom to balcony was loose (had to lift it up to close the door) which lead to minor flooding on the interior carpet every time it rained hard and visible black mold on the master bedroom carpet near exterior door to balcony which maintenance wasn't able to remove. Ocean saltwater is tough on exteriors, but likely needs new door jam and sill to stop further water damage/mold issues. Despite these minor issues, entire complex is well-maintained and, presumably due to age of Island Club (lots of space between buildings vs. modern builds are house/buildings 6' apart from each other) results in relatively uncrowded beach front for Island Club compared to Westin and Marriott on either side. We'll be back!
