The perfect getaway!

We loved our stay. The location was absolutely beautiful. The property was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations! Emma was very responsive. If we’re in the UP again, we will definitely stay here.

Girls beach weekend

The setting of the property was unsurpassed. Very private and beautiful. The house could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. We found spoons and other various items under the couches and there were dead bugs in the shower. Check in and communication with the host was seamless. I would stay here again.

Beachfront Hideaway

Members of our family arrived and departed over a two week period from several states for a long awaited family reunion. It was a total success. The property is exceptional and offers total privacy, quick access to Marquette, outstanding amenities and a gracious host that is so responsive that a faulty dishwasher was replaced within in 24 hours. It doesn’t get any better.

Winter at the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay at your lake house. Spacious, clean, well stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans, etc. and upgraded linens and appliances. Wi-fi connection was excellent. We would love to visit again to enjoy all the summer lake activities and would highly recommend to family and friends. Thank you!

Perfect place for Family Time!

Great location between Marquette and Munising! The house was awesome with plenty of space for all 10 of us! Do be aware of the open floor plan upstairs including the bathroom. I was concerned when we first saw it, but we had absolutely no problems with it!! We had a photographer come to take family pictures…the property was perfect for outside pictures!! It was wonderful to have the beach right there to enjoy! We loved having access to the paddle boards and kayaks!! We would definitely recommend a stay at this property!!

Fantastic

We rented for a recent snowmobile trip. Easy access to snowmobile trail (2 minutes). It is right across the street from Lakenland. The place is amazing. It had everything needed and then some. Communication with owner/manager was flawless. Will definitely rent again. Planning to try and rent during summer months as I can only imagine how great it would be to spend days on shores of Superior out the back door.

Beautiful setting for our tiny winter wedding!

My wife and I got married here! The two of us stayed at the house for a few days before and after our wedding. We hosted our family (15ish people) for a couple meals and the ceremony. The location was perfect. The entire back side of the house is covered in windows looking out over the lake, and the sun came out nicely for us. The kitchen was well equipped and sauna was wonderful. I will mention that we had no cell reception at the property, but the internet worked great. The house is very open concept. It was very clean, well decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. Overall it's a great house with beautiful views of Lake Superior and suited us perfectly for our small wedding! We hope we can come back and stay again in the future!

Amazing tranquility

Exceptional Property

We loved everything about our experience staying at this wonderful beach house. The home was very clean and spacious with bright decor and abundant windows overlooking the lake. This property offers plenty of privacy and amenities to just stay put and enjoy your beverage on the deck, sauna experience or beach time on majestic Lake Superior, but is also the perfect location to hit the road and explore the hikes, waterfalls, towns and natural beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Highly recommend this property.

Great stay!

We had a great experience. The location is amazing, the house is beautiful. We were very happy with it and the whole group loved it. We were in town for a hockey tournament and the bunk room was fantastic for the boys and they loved playing on the beach. We would stay here again for sure!

Ride into age 75 with ATV’s at an outstanding location

We had a great time we were blessed with perfect weather The only thing we could have used another bath room with 10 adults and a handrail coming into the house. Being right on the lake with our own private beach was awesome

Perfect Beach House Experience

The house was great! Our two kids (3 and 6) were SO excited to sleep on the bunk beds together. They have their own rooms at home. And after the first night, when they inevitably kept each other awake all night, the house was flexible enough for us to give them each their room! Even with the grandparents' room downstairs. One note to be aware of is that the master bedroom is not enclosed. That wasn't a big deal for us, as our kids would barge in on us no matter how many doors they had to open. The best part - the beach is perfection. Steps away. All sand, with hardly a rock in sight. And the water is shallow out to about 300 yards, which keeps the water relatively warm (it IS Lake Superior, though). I could not imagine a better beach if you have little kids that want to swim. We're already booking our next stay there!

Private Paradise

If privacy is what you’re looking for this is the place for you! We loved how the house was set back far enough from the road and right on the beach. We only saw a handful of people each day. The house was comfortable and we never felt like we were in someone else’s house. A few special things that really made our stay awesome was the paddle boards/kayaks ( we found the shipwreck, thanks Emma!), sauna and that coffee maker 😍. This house really is something special and we loved our time there.

Beautiful home

We rented for my sons NMU graduation. We walked on the beach cooked dinner in the kitchen and used the sauna everyday. More room and space than we needed. The house is huge. Highly recommend!

Exceeded expectations on all accounts!

This is a very special property... a beautiful home located in a superb setting, namely a wooded grove on the dramatic shore of Lake Superior. We visited in the depths of winter, and the ice along the shore and the crashing waves were stunning. That said, the house was warm and cosy. The detached sauna made the experience 100% UP. I would go again in a heartbeat! Thanks so much to the owners for sharing this beautiful property.
