Awesome Flat

We are a family of 4 with preteen/teen. The apartment was clean, well appointed and in a wonderful area. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. Check in was a breeze-probably the easiest for any vacation rental I have had. Communication with rental company was quick and easy. I would highly recommend this flat.

Beautiful apartment, great location

The apartment is beautifully designed, well equipped and has the added advantage of looking out over a tree lined park. The kitchen is very well stocked, and there were grocery stores, bakeries and good restaurants near by. Access is keyless, so no need to coordinate a meeting. Access to all the sights are very easy on the metro, with a stop just a half block away. Communication with Lucie was extremely attentive and responsive. Highly recommend!

Best spot in the city

We had a wonderful stay. The place itself is big and beds were comfy. The bathrooms also are very large for European standards. The location is incredible. It’s in walking distance from many sites while still being away from all the tourists. Definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful, Well-located Flat

Wonderful flat in an excellent area. Close to the Métro, walking distance to landmarks and great restaurants. Well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, with a nice balcony looking over the square. Hosts were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again!!

Great Home/close to everything

This 3br 2bath was great. Everything was clean and accurate. The neighborhood is great and you have a view of the park. Fantastic home, pics are exactly what you get. The ONLY issue I had was the floors were a little dusty.

Parisian style

We had a lovely four day holiday in this beautiful apartment with a view over the park. Ample space for a family of four with plenty of luggage. Plenty of Cafes, bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. Metro stations everywhere. Easy access to all the sights and only a short walk to the river. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

Perfection

We loved everything about our Paris home away from home. Location was very walkable to daily necessities and an abundance of cute cafes to enjoy. The park right outside the flat was perfect for our two young girls to play at. Michael was very responsive and helpful well! If work brings us back to Paris one day I will most certainly stay here again!

Do Your Homework When Renting

Wanted to love our stay given the lovely décor and spaciousness, however, the location has several drawbacks which were not revealed to us in advance. We experienced two significant nightly disruptions one of which lasted until 3AM. The situation was scary particularly since we were a 3-generation family with a young grandchild. Please be aware that the building next to this apartment is occupied by refugees, who took over the premises in December 2024 against French law. Hundreds of refugees have been demonstrating with drums and chanting with bullhorns. We had no prior knowledge of any of this. Be sure to search on the internet for “Gaiete Lyrique occupation” before your arrival. Management can do a lot better, both in empathy, maintenance, and in its instructions for renters.•The process for entering the unit itself was unclear. We were never provided our “personal code” needed for the apartment door. •Expectation is that trash will be removed and sorted, but no English instructions on how to separate or the basic location of the trash room was provided. •The hall light immediately in front of the unit was not working, so every entry was in the pitch black – aided by our cellphone flashlights in order to see the keypad. •Outlet in master bedroom wasn’t working. Similarly the dishwasher did not operate properly. Could have been a perfect vacation, but these issues spoiled our stay.

Good Potential

The unit was not what we expected. The photos put it in its best light. Only one bathroom has a toilet in suite. The other two require walking through the apartment. The living room couches need cleaning and we put sheets on the cushions. The living room has much potential but new furniture and better placement would make a difference. Many light switches did not work. The location is excellent and the unit could work for a small family with children.

Excellent Location

We had no issues with the apartment, the check in was easy and the host was very friendly and let us check in early which we really appreciated. The building was nice and the apartment was easy to get to, it was spacious, bright and the location was excellent. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms big and the kitchen was extremely useful. Would stay here again.

The perfect Paris flat for our family

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment. The location is great. Lots of cafes nearby and the metro stop is just around the corner. It overlooks a lovely park. We found the beds comfortable and the place very clean. My teen daughters LOVED the whole vibe of the very stylish decor. We loved being able to open up the large doors overlooking the small balcony over the park. We had absolutely NO complaints about our stay here. We would stay here again.

Lovely apartment

This was a super cute apartment within walking distance to many places and easy access to the metro. It is truly as pictured with 3 full bedrooms, a very large living room with dining table and eat in kitchen. Michael was an excellent host, very responsive and kind. I would absolutely recommend this apartment and would stay again on my next visit to Paris. Great for families and kids too. Quiet and safe with a lovely view of the park.

Great experience in Paris

This flat was great for our two-week stay in Paris with family. It’s cozy, roomy, clean and well equipped. It’s close to everything you need to make your stay comfortable, walking distance to a pharmacy, a supermarket, the metro, steps from a park for the kids and several great restaurants! Our host was helpful and we had good communication, definitely recommend staying here!

3 lovely days in Paris

We've just spent 3 lovely days in Paris, staying in Michael's apartment. The location was perfect, very near the metro and within walking distance of many attractions and wonderful shopping areas. The apartment was just like the photographs, we weren't disappointed. It's very stylish, clean and comfortable. It suited our group of 3 mothers and daughters very well, we would definitely love to return one day. Thank you Michael

Spacious & beautiful view

Both this home and Michael were wonderful! The flat was spacious with a beautiful view towards a park, and very comfortable beds. The location was steps from little restaurants and shops and walking distance to some of the main sights like the Notre Dame Cathedral. Michael was very friendly, helpful and flexible with meeting for check in and out. My family and I would absolutely stay here again when we return to Paris.

PARFAIT POUR UN SEJOUR A 6 DANS PARIS

L'appartement est très beau et surtout très fonctionnel. Nous avions beaucoup cherché et hésité avant de réserver mon mari et moi-même mais nous avons craqué pour celui-ci car il était plus grand que la plupart des autres appartements proposant 3 chambres. Nous avons eu raison car l'espace était parfait pour 3 générations...le rapport qualité prix est donc très raisonnable. Pour la nourriture, nous allions très souvent au quartier Montorgueil à 2 pas de l'appartement. A noter que pour les personnes âgées, il y a un étage à monter. C'était un peu dur pour les grands parents mais on ne les regrette pas quand on a la vue magnifique sur les arbres depuis le balcon !!! Nous pensons relouées cet appartement pour notre prochain séjour.LS

EXTRA LOCATION

Notre séjour restera un très bon souvenir. L'appartement est décoré avec soin et très bien entretenue. Les chambres sont très spacieuses. Il nous a été très facile de faire la réservation. Puis à notre arrivée, nous étions attendus par Michaël qui nous a fait une visite rapide et très clair des différents espaces. Nous avions une très jolie vue sur le parc. C'est un appartement ou il fait bon de vivre.A la fois noble et contemporain. Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix et nous attribuions 5 étoiles sans problème. SN

Beautiful Flat, but Maintenance Needs Improvement

Our party of five stayed in this three-bedroom flat for three nights in mid-March. It is as pictured-- beautiful and spacious. The bathrooms and kitchen seem to recently renovated, and were very nice. The master bathroom has both a shower and toilet, the other bathroom has a shower and toilet in separate rooms (I think that's convenient for large groups). Location is great-- the flat is in an interesting neighborhood with good food, shops and a metro station nearby. It's about a 20 minute walk to the city center. And Michael is prompt in communicating both before our stay and during. We were disappointed with the general maintenance though. There were some wobbly tables and loose shelves that made it concerning to even set anything on them (my brother-in-law's camera was damaged after it fell off the shelf near the entrance). We kept getting locked in the toilet room because the door was sticky/ difficult to open. And a door knob to the master bath fell off the first day we were there. It felt like the place was falling apart on us. Also, there was some basic amenities that should have been in the flat that were not there when we arrived--- we had to purchase our own hand soap, toilet paper and laundry detergent. The flaws of this flat are more annoyances than deal-breakers, but enough for us to consider another place when visiting Paris again.

Amazing apartment

Great location, close to the metro and shops and cafes. The apartment is large, comfortable and well-appointed. Beautiful decor, very Parisian feel. We loved this apartment and would return in a heartbeat!

Spacious, classic, elegant Parisian flat, but elevator starts on 2nd floor

PROS -Wow factor as you walk-in: reminiscent of a classic French bourgeois apartment with very high ceilings and all over molding. Makes you feel you are in Paris. -Very spacious (115 sq.m) -Elegant foyer, living, and master bedroom/bathroom -Views on Park and museum from living room, master bedroom, and small bedroom -Balcony access from living, master and small bedroom -Great location -Lots of power outlets -High-tech labeled light dimmer switches all over the apartment -Beautiful dramatic candelabras which, lit with candles at night on the coffee table, add a touch of glamour to the ambiance. -2 toilets, 2 hair dryers CONS -Caution! There is an elevator, but it only starts from the 2nd floor. You have to climb a very high flight of stairs first, before you can get in the elevator. -Michael is very nice and helpful, but very slow to respond, and initially confirmed my booking with the wrong address. I even wondered if it was a scam. It also took about 1 week to receive an email confirming my deposit refund. -Missing: full scale mirror -Custom designed closets in each bedroom, but hanging rod way too high for normal height people, making the entire hanging closet useless as you need a ladder to go hang your clothes. -Rug, sofas, coffee table, bath towels: very stained -No bathroom hand or kitchen towels -No table cloth for the dining table. -All bathroom/bedroom door handles were broken, and did not stay into place -French doors handles did not latch. -Most recessed light bulbs were burned out and had to be replaced (in kitchen, shower...) -Master bathroom recessed lights above sink don't stay lit. They shut down after 10 minutes or so. -Additional light bulbs provided in cool white (ugly lighting), instead of warm yellow light -No door lock in toilet or bathrooms -Even with instructions, the oven/microwave is very difficult to figure out -No soap or shampoo SUGGESTIONS -Modern furnishing and colors clash with style of flat: get rid of the glass dining table, plastic chairs, modern sofas, green rug, purple pillows, multi-color flower/Marilyn wall art, and horrendous colors in small bedroom (blue/orange/violet) -Add drapes around french doors in the living area to add drama: walls look too bare -Beautiful library in living area, but too long: covers wall molding -Install bluetooth speaker system such as SONOS -Michael should use a checklist when showing the flat, as far as explaining the heat, intercom, TV, oven, trash...

Lovely stay in Paris

We loved this apartment and our overall stay in Paris! Michael was incredibly helpful in helping us upon arrival and departure, and was available by text at all times. We were three friends and three toddlers and the apartment had plenty of space with three large, beautiful bedrooms. Each had comfortable beds and chairs, and two had attached bathrooms that were spacious and very modern. I love that this apartment feels very classic Paris (architecture and lavender tones) mixed with modern bathrooms and kitchen (the appliances are ultra modern). We cooked here some and found the kitchen to be well equipped, but the apt was also within walking distance of many delicious restaurants and bakeries (including a bistro next door that we ate at once). We did take the metro once (2 very nearby) but mostly we just walked everywhere because most sites weren't that far. We found the apartment to be very quiet and safe. We definitely hope to return someday - it was an excellent stay for sure!
