Notre maison bien aménagée est dans la zone Cove du calme, boisé Lambet. L'emplacement est fantastique: permettre à votre groupe marche facile à Cove Beach belle de Lambert et de deux magnifiques étangs de baignade: l'étang de Seth et Icehouse Pond. La plage offre merveilleuse natation, le kayak, de classe mondiale pêche au bar rayé, et une vue superbe sur les îles Elizabeth. Nager dans l'eau salée dans la matinée, l'eau douce dans l'après-midi, ou jouer au tennis sur l'un des près par les tribunaux. Promenez-vous des miles sur le sable mou, attraper un magnifique coucher de soleil - particulièrement spectaculaire en été.

Notre maison est belle en toute saison, avec tous les conforts de la maison - pas berber ou comptoir de granite ici. Spacieux et confortable, avec quatre belles chambres. Les repas peuvent être prises à l'intérieur de glassed dans la belle salle à manger / salle de repos, ou sur le pont à une grande table à côté d'une cour herbeuse ouverte et belle forêt de pins. La cuisine est gai avec de nouvelles armoires et les planchers, et est bien approvisionné pour la cuisson des tartes aux fruits frais, ou de faire des repas gastronomiques avec des herbes fraîches dans le jardin. Un den est idéal pour les cartes et la lecture. Une grande salle familiale est idéal pour se détendre avec un livre, un jeu ou un film. La chambre principale possède un grand balcon pour bronzer, sieste, ou tout simplement écouter le vent à travers les arbres. Une douche extérieure est le meilleur pour ces journées d'été douces. Imaginez-vous assis sur la lecture du porche, en écoutant le bruissement des arbres, jouer au soccer ou wiffle balle sur la pelouse.

De la maison, il est une question mile jogging ou à vélo à un petit centre commercial avec café, yoga, épicerie, pharmacie salle de gym, et le bureau de poste. Pistes cyclables, Vineyard Haven, et le village de pêcheurs de Menemsha sont à quelques minutes. De bons restaurants sont également disponibles: de Lambert Cove Inn, à cinq minutes à pied de la maison, est l'un des plus beaux de l'île, et il y a d'autres grands restaurants à proximité.

Lovely property!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! This home is tucked in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. It is 15 mins from Oak Bluffs, 30 minutes from Edgartown, 17 mins from Menemsha and within walking distance to beautiful lakes and Lambert’s Cove. The home boasted a welcoming vibe and was equipped with WiFi, cooking utensils and plenty outdoor space for relaxing early mornings. I would love the opportunity to stay again.

West Tisbury pleasures

We very much enjoyed our stay in this spacious home with wonderful access to the Pond and to Lambert's Cove. The porch and patio are especially delightful for enjoying dinners made from the terrific Vineyard farm produce. This is our third time staying here, and we hope to return each year.

Wonderful !

Everything about our stay was delightful. The house is lovely, and kitchen has everything - the best I have ever rented. The owner is a pleasure to work with and the details in the listing describe the house and location exactly. The location is a great -- a walk to Lambert Cove and to the most perfect freshwater pond. We hope to book again next year.

Good house, good location. Two big snafus!

We ultimately enjoyed our stay. The house is in a wonderful location; close to the beach, close to town, yet very quiet. The house itself was a good size for our family of 6 . Two queen beds, a room with two twins, and one room with a full bed and two twins, worked out well. Closets in 3 out of the 4 rooms, (but some closets had no hangers.) Plenty of linens, which was nice. Great outdoor space; big deck with tables and chairs perfect for morning hangouts and meals. Good outdoor shower. Kitchen stocked with everything one would need. (and more) AC worked pretty well, considering how humid and hot it was outside. The snafus were kind of big, though. The owner neglected to let us know that half of the upstairs had no electricity! Had I checked the recent reviews before our arrival I would have known (but who checks reviews right before their arrival?) We had no light at night or power to charge phones in the room. We did eventually run an extension cord from a different room so we could use a fan and one of the lights. Ultimately, it was not that big a deal - but I was surprised that the owner did not let us know in advance (and that I had to be the one to reach out only to find out this kind-of-big thing about the house.) I am hopeful that it will be fixed and won't be a problem for other renters in the future. But it was weird. The other thing to note was that the house was really dirty when we arrived. Obviously, the cleaners did not do their job - another issue that hopefully will be resolved for future renters. We had to do a deep clean on both bathrooms (hairs on the sink and floor, bugs, the whole bit), the entire kitchen (including all pots/pans, dust and grime in the drawers and on counters)and sweep all the floors (very sandy) before we could really settle in and use the house. Again, not the biggest deal, but not what you want when you come into a rental on your vacation! All in all, if those two things were rectified, I would rent the house again - mainly for the location - hoping that the owner will be forthcoming next time about any issues that might affect renters.

Good location, but property is just okay.

For our family of four (two adults and two boys (5 and 9)), we found this property to be just okay, 3 to 3.5 stars overall. This is our fifth consecutive August week vacation on MV, so feel as though we have a good sense of the summer rental stock, and we have found other rentals to be better. A big plus of this rental is its location (easy access to State Rd. with minimal traffic issues) and easy access to Lambert's Cove Beach, which is especially great with younger children. The property was very spacious overall with a nice side sunroom with a large table for eating dinner and a nice outdoor table. In terms of the cons, we found the house itself to be musty/moldy. There is a water problem in the basement, which may be the cause of some of the issue, and also water staining and plaster issues on some of the ceilings and walls. Maintenance of the property was uneven - yard was a bit unkept, garbage area was untidy and extremely smelly, there are random pieces of old furniture throughout the house, and porch loungers are broken and/or moldy. The owner alerted us a week in advance, but there are some real electrical issues with the house currently - some of the bedrooms upstairs do not currently have any power. When we booked, there were no bathroom pictures for the listing. The bathrooms are old and need remodels. Many of the screen doors are difficult to use as they are off their tracks and corroded. House was surface level clean when we arrived, but dust bunnies and animal hair if you looked a bit closer.

Spacious and good location

Lovely downstairs rooms and perfect location. Spacious. Easy parking. Upon arrival found dryer stuffed with wet sheets. Many electric outlets do not work and drip in both bathrooms. Still, we would rent again because of first floor and location.

Great spot so close to Lamberts Cove

What a great little spot. So close to Lambert's cove beach you can walk there. Porch is great for cooking at night and eating outside. The upstairs was larger than the pictures. Plenty of room for our family.

Very well-appointed, relaxing, spacious, great location

My family and I stayed 3 weeks at Henry’s lovely house in the Lambert’s Cove area. The house was spacious, very comfortable and fantastically locTed. We could walk down to Lambert’s Cove for the ocean and dip into Ice House Pond for a refreshing dip. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our family meals and eating on the deck or in the “window room” as we called it, were both great options. The pots of basil and garden parsley and cherry tomatoes gave a welcome addition to our meals. Beds were super comfortable. We set up a jigsaw puzzle on a little table so everyone had a number of things to do. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Vineyard Vacation

For our family, this was an ideal location on Martha's Vineyard. We brought our car, so the entire island was easily accessible. This home is tucked away in a beautifully wooded area. There is plenty of room indoors and out for kids to play. Lambert's Cove Beach is a quick walk away and is absolutely stunning. The house itself had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. We had TV, books, and a few games for the rainy times. We enjoyed the restaurants on the island, but also had everything necessary to cook our meals as well. This place was a hit with the whole family ❤

Great vacation house Martha's vineyard

Our family had a great time at this house for our first stay on Martha's vineyard. The house was in a quiet location in the woods yet less then a mile to lamberts cove beach which was great for the kids. The house had a lot of room to spread out and had a nice deck and a new gas grill. Only reason not five stars is the house could use some minor maintanence - a note indicated a stove replacement has been on order since the current one has two burners out, the dishwasher was pretty worn and stopped working during our stay, and one set of blinds was broken. Those items should be fixable and overall would highly recommend to someone looking for a quiet stay on Martha's vineyard.

Well situated traditional vineyard home, was perfect for us!

Plenty of comfortable space for my family with four teens! Easy and pretty biking to the beach and beautiful lake, very comfortable and well-furnished space indoor and out, efficient communication with the owner, Henry... was just right and we would happily come again!

Beautiful affordable home

I have spent a week in this beautiful and relaxed home for a week for the past thre summers with my husband and two young children. WE LOVED eating at the huge table in the modern addition, playing in the large yard and enjoying showers outside after the beach. Lamberts Cove Beach is the most beautiful beach on the island, always warm and a quick walk or bike ride from the house. The house is well-stocked and in a safe quiet neighborhood in the most mellow part of the Island. The photos don't do it justice- you have to come see it for yourself!!

Charming Home was Perfect for Friends' Getaway

I have vacationed with friends on Martha's Vineyard for years, always in a different house. But I was smitten with this one when I stayed there in July 2010 and I can't wait to return. We were a mix of couples and singles, so the setup was perfect with 2 rooms each having a queen bed and two rooms with twin beds. With a full and a half bath and the outdoor shower, it was like having 2 full bathrooms so that worked out well. We loved sitting out on the deck, relaxing with a bottle of wine each evening. We did plenty of cooking in the house and really enjoyed the sitting room off the kitchen which the owner said was a recent home extension. The house is in a quiet area, surrounded by woods, and just a short walk to Lambert's Cove beach, one of the nicest beaches on the island and a great place to see beautiful sunsets. We also went for a swim a couple of times in Seth's Pond, a short walk down Lambert's Cove Rd. in the other direction. Within a mile, there's a grocery, fish market (was there a lot!), bakery, and even a yoga studio. And State Road is really close by for those drives across the island. Had such a wonderful experience. Looking forward to my next visit.
