You will love the natural setting of this home; the beach, the views, the soft lapping sounds at the waters edge, and of course the relaxing interior--you can often see the reflection and sparkle of the water on the ceilings -- Truly therapeutic!

Surrounded by island conservation lands and wildlife, enjoy this waterfront "dream" home on the Lagoon, with 267 feet of your own private sandy beach just ten feet away. Get away from it all this summer in this inviting home with spectacular 180° water views can be enjoyed from both decks and almost every room!

The main (upper) level features an open living plan with high, soaring ceilings and multiple glass sliders leading out to a spectacular, wrap-around deck overlooking the glistening water. Airy living room with gas fireplace, gourmet kitchen with gas cooking, and everything you need to help prepare fabulous meal. Included but not limited to: Lobster pot, garlic press, salad spinner, a stemware (Flutes & Wine), new cookware and more! Advanced water filtration system in place as well. Dining room and a separate den/seating area and ½ bath complete the upper level.

Make your expansive deck the place to be this summer with all new, Cape Coral 14-piece, outdoor entertainment seating which includes extra wide cushioning for an exceptional lounging experience and comfort. Cape Coral outdoor furnishings include 2 single cushioned chairs, 1 cushioned loveseat, glass-top coffee table, 2 chaise lounges (adjustable), and a 6-person, 6 foot glass top table and chairs. The landscaping includes a wonderful surround of intricately laid stone walls and granite steps.

The lower level features 2-3 bedrooms with expansive water views with King-Sized bed in each (Or 2 twins, your choice in bedroom #2 & #3), closets and dressers. Smaller, third bedroom has two twins, and a dresser. Full bath with shower and separate laundry area. Linens include lovely 900 GSM luxurious towels.

Nestled within acres of Land Bank and Sheriff's Meadow conservation land which is a rarity on Martha's Vineyard, this property is nestled in a natural setting yet it is most conveniently located; just over 1 mile to downtown Vineyard Haven shops, restaurants and Island ferry!

From this home you will enjoy the most spectacular and tranquil Lagoon setting with easy access to Vineyard Sound by boat. Mooring may be available for an additional fee. * Inflatable swim lounges, tube, and inflatable kayak(s) available by request. Parking for 3 cars. Small pets considered, for last minute rentals only. * For an additional fee, please inquire.

We loved staying here. Great views over the lagoon. Definitely helped having a 4x4 as the road is bumpy. The house was very well appointed and scrupulously clean. A second shower room would be a welcome addition to the accommodation

Amazing property

Of all the former vacation properties, I have secured through VRBO, this was the best. The property itself is nicely appointed, clean and on the water with spectacular views. It is accessible to the shops in Vineyard Haven and only a few miles to major beaches and other attractions. The owner is supportive and accommodating. She provided access to her local alpaca farm that was a highlight of the trip. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for me and my family. Thank you!

Great view!!

The property was amazing. The house was very clean and stocked/equipped with all the staples. The property is off the main roads, and the only sounds you hear are from the birds and occasional small boat. Please do visit the Alpaca Farm, which is less than 2 miles from the house! Barbara was very responsive and willing to work with us when we had to modify the dates due to an unexpected event on our side. Very highly recommend!

Amazing stay

This was one of the best experiences I have had with VRBO. The home architecturally well designed and is fully stocked with everything you need and more. Everything is really well thought out by the host to optimize your experience. It felt more like home than a rental. The cottage area is a very quiet setting on the lagoon, yet only 6 minutes to the vineyard ferry. The views are extraordinary. The home is elegantly finished and comfortable. There is a small office area with water views if you need to work remote. There are lots of areas to relax and enjoy with an outdoor and indoor dining table and various sitting areas. The private beach and outdoor shower really add to the experience. This is a rental that will not disappoint.

Wonderful Spot

Family is local to Vineyard, and I rented this property to visit them with some friends. Wonderful on a quite spot towards end of Lagoon cove. My friends & I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Beautiful home and gorgeous location

This was our first visit to MV. The photos of this home acutely represent what you will enjoy on arrival. A beautifully decorated and maintained home. We have never stayed at a VRBO that was as clean and well looked after as this is. I did a lot of cooking as we were celebrating an anniversary. You will find this kitchen to be extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We won’t soon forget how lovely it was sitting on the desk looking out over the beach and enjoying star gazing in the evening. Stunning. Thank you Barbara!

Incredible house with outstanding views

Our family stayed for a week…and boy do we wish we could have stayed longer! The house had everything our family needed and offered outstanding views from every room. I had to pinch myself every morning that we were staying here. The house is so beautifully decorated. The decor feels so crisp and clean. The owner had laundry supplies available which was very helpful for our active family. We enjoyed sitting on the deck to enjoy meals. We felt like we had plenty of room for our family. Will definitely come back to visit again! Don’t hesitate to book! Barbara was amazing to work with during the whole visit.

Tranquil lake house

It was one of the nicest properties we have been to. It is right on the lake and the kids loved canoeing at all times of the day. The home is isolated so it’s very peaceful with an amazing view of the water. But it’s only five minutes from all the action and restaurants. Barbara our host was extremely hospitable and flexible. Was truly an amazing experience and would highly recommend to anyone. We would love to come back and do it again.

Martha's Vineyard gem

This lovely, well appointed, home is perfectly situated right on it's own private beach with awesome water views from all rooms and decks. Ideally located near town yet secluded and private -- truly couldn't be better. Barbara, the host, was responsive, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Very slight minuses are shared bath/shower and small, darkish 3rd bedroom but not at all a problem for us. We feel blessed to have found this gem of a place and hope to return next year!

Lovely Waterfront Property

This is a lovely well-equipped property right on the water with a small private beach from which you can swim and kayak. The house is very comfortable. Bathroom is shared among the three bedrooms and the third bedroom is quite small but the other two are beautiful with terrific views, and the owner couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommended.

Magical. A sanctuary of light and serenity

We could tell from the photos that this house would be special. But my husband and I were unprepared for what we walked into. This is a beautiful, absolutely immaculate, joy-filled sanctuary. Barbara's love and warmth and generosity of spirit — evident from her first word of communication — are in every stitch and inch and cup and towel and hanger and pillow and corner. At every turn, the answer she gives is: yes. Generosity. Quality. Luxury. Simple and pure beauty in every corner of design. One week was not nearly enough. We could not tear ourselves away from the deck. We sat for hours, having morning coffee, reading, talking, sharing meals, gazing at the stars. Even the deck furniture is perfect, beautiful, comfortable, providing the perfect perch for listening to water lap the shores of our private beach, watching the birds fly overhead, watching the light change. Getting away to the Vineyard and landing in this treasure of a home was by far the best thing we've done this year and such a respite in these dark times. It was the first time we felt truly normal, filled with happiness. Each day we were lifted us and reminded us of all we have to be grateful for in our lives and in our glorious world. We only wished our two children had been with us, and we hope to be back soon. Thank you, Barbara, for everything!

Last Min Summer Escape

We booked this property a week in advance (with many properties on the island already booked) for a last minute vacation before school started. We had no idea how perfect of a fit for our family of five it would be! This property is SO special with the private beach and the isolated wooded area of town (especially during COVID concerns). We were still able to be close to everything we needed in Vineyard Haven (by bike) or Oak Bluffs and Edgartown (by car). The home was charming and clean. The owner was welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend this property for a small family (only 1.5 baths), especially a family with younger kids bc the lagoon water is so calm! Enjoy finding crabs!

Great views and location

Great location - very peaceful yet so close to town and amenities and good for generally getting around the island. The view of the lagoon from the home and decks is fabulous. Barbara was a wonderful host - super responsive and promptly met all of our needs. We had a lovely time and would definitely return!

Sunrise on the Vineyard

What a sweet little house! I loved every minute of our stay. Barbara was attentive and brought fresh flowers when she came to check on things. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was fresh and new. Make sure to wake up early to enjoy the amazing sunrise over the water. A beautiful place to relax and work.
