En route pour le lac Shaver? Offrez à votre famille des vacances dans cette cabane rustique située à quelques kilomètres de la ville! Une vue sur l'étang vous accueille depuis le porche, un spectacle bienvenu pour ceux qui souhaitent échapper à la nature sans quitter le confort de leur maison. Il y a aussi une table de billard et un ping-pong pour les soirées de jeux en famille. Le chien de la famille est également le bienvenu pour vous rejoindre pour un tarif journalier supplémentaire.

Cette spacieuse cabane se trouve à environ cinq kilomètres du camping Dorabelle, un excellent point d’accès au magnifique lac Shaver. Les pistes de ski de China Peak Mountain Resort se trouvent à environ 22 km de votre lieu de séjour - une journée facile. Si vous préférez rester à proximité, essayez le Shaver Lake Pizza ou l'un des autres restaurants de la ville.

À l'intérieur, vous trouverez une cuisine complète comprenant un réfrigérateur, une cuisinière, un four et un four micro-ondes. Deux télévisions par câble, un lecteur DVD et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite divertiront tout le monde pendant votre séjour. Une cheminée ajoute à l'ambiance décontractée et confortable. Vous aurez également une laveuse / sécheuse, ce qui vous permet de garder les vêtements de vacances propres en un tournemain.

Aucun véhicule de loisir ou camping n'est autorisé dans les cours et les allées. Boat & Trailer Parking: Autorisé uniquement dans West Village et East Village. Needs to be taken off Market

This house needs to be taken off the market and have a deep cleaning done as well as some very needed maintenance! It was disgusting and do not recommend renting!

Sad: Not well stocked nor clean

We booked expecting the cabin (in a great location) to be old and dated. We did not expect the cabin to be dirty upon arrival: crumbs on surfaces, spiderwebs in most windows, and worse, mouse remnants in cupboards! On our last day the septic tank overflowed. It was a stinky mess. Too bad because the cabins location and size are ideal. We read some reviews that the cabin was “well stocked” but we disagree. There were no cooking pans (in acceptable condition) and miscellaneous utensils were scattered around the kitchen. While the sheets were clean, the comforters were all mismatched and very used. This cabin needs a lot of updates and better amenities if it’s going to be a rental. Also, beware of the management company: when we stated the cabin was dirty they told our booking company (VRBO) that we wouldn’t allow them in to clean, which isn’t true. Guess they didn’t want to put in the effort to ensure guests were taken care of.

A lot of space for a large family. Great layout. Game room was a big hit. The accommodations were exactly as advertised. Will certainly consider it again.

Pond view with Snow

Being next to pond with Beautiful views was amazing! Family & Friends had a great time. 40 drive to resort was there for 2 days. House is big enough for everyone! House is from 1980’s with a lot of original appliances and features. House does need repairs and maintenance to complete better Functionality. Nathan

Our Time at the Pond Cabin

We have stayed at this cabin over 6 times over the years and we keep going back because it is very roomy. It has 5 large bedrooms with king beds! The two stoves / ovens make it great for large groups. The living room and dining room has plenty of seating for large groups. The mud room, and garage make it nice for storing ice chests and snow gear. The back yard is flat which is perfect for snow play in the winter. It is 5 minutes from the town of Shaver. Overall, this cabin is an excellent value.. as long as you don't mind 70's decor. We like it! A few things to note: the kitchen is not well appointed. Really rustic pots and pans and serving dishes. If you plan to cook or prepare a lot of food, bring your own items. It doesn't have a Keurig coffee maker or a blender. It does have an air fryer. They only give you a small dish soap so bring more of that, bring more toliet paper, and several more garbage bags for your big groups.

Needs work

Based on the reviews I knew to take some cleaning supplies. This issue hasn’t been resolved. Beddings were old and the sheets seemed as were made of plastic. Kitchen cookware was very old and rusty. They were not safe to cook with. Thankfully we took a pan we used for our meals. Refrigerator seems to have a leak. On the bright side home was large enough to accommodate us and plenty of rooms.

Beautiful Pond setting

Great check in but walked into horrible smell of 6 bags of trash in garage. Started dinner & found out that 1 stove didnt get repaired/replaced as I wa s told it would be in APRIL when we reserved. Upstairs shower door sticks so bad so hard to open that my 8 & 11 yr old couldnt get out of it wo help. Bottom floor toilet so short my mom had to have help off it. No kitchen towels and for a 5 bedroom house to have 8 towels is unacceptable, should have been told this so we could have brought some and a table on the big porch would be nice as was shown in pictures. My family has rented this house MANY times and not had problems...and the huge kitchen with 2 stoves is a huge draw for us. VERY disappointed this time tho they came and got the nasty trash out within the hour. Was promised a refund on the amenities lost due to stove not working but we will see. Sorry to be a negitive nancy but wanted to be honest on review...had someone said this we would have prob passed on it Thanks

Greats space: outdated

The place is huge!!! Overall we enjoyed the space and where its located. All the rooms has king size bed which was amazing and comfortable. The bedrooms where huge lots and lots of room for everyone. The game room space is great for big family like ours! Our kids enjoyed hanging out in there. The kitchen was big and having two stove and two microwave was a plus! But it was not as clean as I prefer it should be. There was a lot of dust on the window seal, spider web on the lamps, the shower curtain has a mildew smell, cutting board needs to be thrown away. Booth oven was dirty. The shaggy carpet was really old, even when its brown you can tell its dirty, and torn on some places. The green leather couch in the living room and the brown couch by the dining room are torn and when you sit on it, it will sink you to almost the floor. Our family enjoyed it but it really needs a good deep clean and furnitures needs to be updated.

Family reunion

Pond view was just what we were looking for. A somewhat private setting, enough bedrooms for 5 couples, and would allow pets. The house was set up for a big crowd two day stay. Only negative was we had to be out of the house by 10:00, not enough time to get 10 people fed , cleaned up, packed and out the door iso early in the morning. We met the housekeepers at 10:00 by our cars as we were driving out.

Peaceful and beautiful views

The home is charming and spacious. The game room was the perfect hangout spot! The deck was great and we had an amazing view, we were lucky enough to spot a few deers. The home was clean and stocked with necessities. I will book again in the future!

Amazing stay!

The cozy cabin came with everything we needed and more! The Ballards are very thoughtful and considerate whether it just be a single family stay or multiple families there was room and activities for everyone! The drive up here was not bad at all The views are amazing all around this spacious cabin, Thanks so much for opening up your home to us we will definitely be staying again!

The rooms are large , game room was a hit , fire place very cozy , the extra amenities were a plus , snow disk for the kids. Loved all the couches, we were able to sit down and visit with one another

Do not waste your money.

This house was absolutely disgusting. Filthy. Everything was covered in dust, it was very apparent nobody had cleaned prior to our arrival and it didn’t look like anyone had been in the house in a month or two. Cobwebs covered every ceiling beem in the living room, dust on every piece of decor, dead flies in every window, nasty old dingy curtains that would have needed another panel to even come close to actually covering the window. Half of the largest window wasn’t covered at all. Two of the rooms blinds were broken so they also weren’t covered by anything. The shower curtain was absolutely disgusting. The beds are rock hard. The utensils are old are nasty (and very limited) They had no pans and everything they did have was scarce. No ac and only 2 tiny fans. It was hot. The carpet was so disgusting you could tell it had not been vacuumed and it was so musty the entire first night even with the doors and windows all open. The entire family left sneezing from all the dust. The main attraction which is the game room and bar had nowhere to keep drinks cold upstairs which sucked, the pool table was uneven, the ping pong table was barely hanging on and uneven. Basically i have no idea how they get away with the price of this. Even with the space it is so nasty and unkept it’s nowhere near worth it. It’s a shame the owners let that beauty fall apart it had great potential but would need gutted and redone to be worth a bleep if you ask me. My family rents a cabin every year and we’ve been going to this area for 50 years and 4 generations. We will never go back to that place, that’s for sure. Huge disappointment.

Great no frills cabin

We absolutely loved this cabin and would consider renting again, as long as the weather is cool enough. There is no AC. We knew this going in and brought 6 fans with us. The hottest day was 95, we put box fans in the windows, facing outwards and it helped a lot. There were a lot of cups, plates, silverware, pots and pans, but only 1 cutting board, 1 measuring cup, 1 cookie sheet and all the knives were dull. I would suggest bringing a knife sharpener and cutting board with you. There were a few left over spices in the cabinets, but definitely bring anything you need if you are picky. We were given only 1 travel soap for hand dishes, 3 pods for the dishwasher, 3 pods for laundry, travel size shower toiletries, and 6 rolls of TP for 9 people 7 days. We were told they "start you off" but everything else is on you. I wish I had known ahead of time. We ended up spending over $100 at the local market instead of bringing them with us. No biggie, but I wish I knew ahead of time. There were ample towels, blankets and bedding for a large group. Wifi is the slowest wifi ever! 2 people in our group had to leave early because they could not work on the wifi provided. the TV is a smart TV, so we were able to log in and watch all of our subscription channels which was awesome! I also loved that I didn't have to clean the house before we left. Most places require about an hour of stripping beds and sweeping, etc. This check out was a breeze! Notes to Vacasa on things that need to be attended to: * The toaster doesn't work at all * The screen on the kitchen window needs re-done. A yellow jacket was in our cabin before we realized this. * The fridge was leaking water even though we never touched the thermostat. It wasn't a lot, but you may want to look into it. * The side table in the downstairs bedroom is broken. The bracket is completely hanging off the wall * The side table in the upstairs bedroom to the right of the stairs has a broken side table with a sharp edge * That same upstairs bedroom has broken vinyl blinds that are on the floor * The dining room table needs a lock on it. The table with the leaf in separates and a few times pinched people sitting at the table. * The sliding door in the game room only opens about a foot and then gets stuck * The game room TV doesn't work even after we replaced the batteries in the remote * The ping pong table is not able to be played on. the net is broken and the paint is lifting bad

Great getaway

This home was tucked away in a peaceful area near Shaver Lake. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out, play games, and have a short drive to the lake. Everything was clean and convenient for our vacation.

Very Outdated!

The place was okay. My family and I definitely got haunted vibes from this cabin. It was super hard to sleep and everything is antique. The tv in the game room works for 5 minutes before it turns off and there is no AC which was a huge dealbreaker. The view is nice but needs major updates and upgrades!

Family Summer Trip

Me and my family had a blast!!!! This was our second time getting this cabin. The cabin is well stocked as far as pots and pans for cooking even seasoning if you happen to forget them at home. There wasn't a Barbecuer but the nice guy in the little ranger brought us one! He was super nice. As far as anything negative I would have to say I wish there were fans in all the rooms. It was hot and musty inside. The game rooms was a plus however its super hot up there. Couldn't really enjoy it like we would have liked too. Mosquitos are bad when sitting outside in the evening. The garbage disposal wasn't working but husband fixed it. Over all it was fun!

Great location

This cabin is awesome. Great location. Large. The pool room is awesome. Only downfalls was it isn't very well stocked. One example is we only had 3 forks. Considering they make you check in later then usual and check out earlier to "deep clean" it wasn't very clean either. Either way, we had a blast and look forward to coming back!
