The apartment is perfect for all holiday types including beach lovers, golfing trips, family holidays and for younger groups that want to be near Marbella but not pay Marbella prices. For golfers in immediate proximity is the La Noria golf course although the area has numerous other golf courses within very close range.

Set in very nice community, you have the best of both worlds, a quiet residential area to relax in peace but within a few minutes walking distance to all amenities. La Cala and Torrenueva beach is located just across the road. Cabopino which also features a small port and many beach side restaurants is only a few mins away by car. Local transport, taxis and buses are very close by.

The Costa del Sol region

Mijas Costa is situated in the heart of the Western Costa del Sol and just 35 kilometres from Malaga International Airport. It has a varied landscape that goes from the mountains all the way to the sea. It lies 10km from Fuengirola in the direction of Marbella (25km)

Cabopino: (3-5 mins drive)

Cabopino beach are situated on the coast, halfway between Fuengirola and Marbella. Miles of beautiful sandy beaches with water sports, fishing and boat trips. There is also a pleasant harbour and renowned restaurants. Cabopino is one of the Costa del Sol's best kept secrets. Ideal for kids as shallow water!!

Marbella: (15 mins drive)

One of the most delightful promenades on the Costa Del Sol, with its classy restaurants and bars overlooking the beach front. A visit to the Orange Square will bring you to a host of street restaurants in the old part of Marbella.

Puerto Banus: (20 mins drive)

Mega rich yachts, world famous fashion shops, Casino, shopping centre, top beaches and spectacular views make this place special.. The nightlife is buzzing with numerous Bars & Restaurants overlooking the marina. Hire a yacht and go out into the Mediterranean

Benalmadena: (30 mins drive)

A lively resort with its beautiful sandy beaches & a spectacular promenade 2km long. Visit the Marina Plaza, often described as Covent Garden on water. Other attractions include the Tivoli World theme park.

Mijas Pueblo: (20 mins drive)

One of the prettiest villages in Spain, this traditional village has breath taking views. Take a donkey ride to explore the charm of this village on the famous. Also lookout for the Mineral water spring at the entrance to the village

Ronda: (50 mins drive)

Ronda is truly a spectacular village, famous throughout Spain for the plunging river gorge which divides this enchanting village. Ronda also has the oldest & most beautiful bullring in the whole of Spain.

The Mijas Hippodrome, ( a racetrack) is situated a few km's from Riviera which has meetings every week and includes lots of entertainment around the course. Anyone visiting Mijas will of course want to wander through the beautiful, whitewashed mountain Pueblo to enjoy the spectacular views.

There are numerous organised trips to Morocco, Gibraltar Rhonda etc available to book within the village area

If you want to explore further afield there are many car rental agencies that will allow you to pick up a car at the airport and leave it there once finished. In the retail complex is a hire car company called Fetajo which I would recommend as they are very competitive with good quality cars and no hassle petrol wise. They will rent cars for your entire holiday or for just a few days. Pick up and drop off at the airport can be arranged.

Gibraltar: (90 mins drive)

It is a must see visit like stepping out of Spain back into England within 5 minutes!.. Here you have a multitude of English High Street stores and wines, spirits, perfumes and cigarettes are duty free. When you visit Gibraltar, you will find that the people are friendly, helpful and always polite. They are very proud and if you visit on September 10th (National Day) wear red and white to help celebrate and to fit in!
