great holiday every time

I have stayed in this apartment 4 times and it always is the best. There are many super apartments in La Cala that I have stayed in but this one beats them all. Location, comfy apartment with everything that you could need. I don't want to be too enthusiastic because it will make it too tempting to others but this is my first go to every time

As the photos depict the 3rd floor apartment is facing the sea with views over the beach, Red Bar Kiosk and square in front of the Watchtower. Very relaxing to watch comings and goings and local entertainers performing in the square which is a hive of activity.The apartment is as described and photos are accurate with everything you could possibly need for your stay.We love it so much that this is our second year in this apartment and hope to book again for 2026.Cannot recommend this property highly enough and the owner Steve, who is so helpful and responsive, makes the booking straightforward.Roll on 2026 love La Cala.

Great location

The apartment is close to everything, the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment is fully equipped but some extra towels would have been nice. Having beach equipment in the garage is really handy. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

We absolutely loved the location. However, we found the entry procedure tricky as were the window locks and garage lock Also the instructions on working the microwave and oven/hob were difficult to follow as were in Spanish! Maybe a Welcome pack next time!!

Beautiful La Cala de Mijas

I have stayed at this property several times.It is the perfect position if you likexa beautiful view of the sea, the hustle and bustle of holidaymakers in the restaurants or strolling/ jogging/ cycling along the promenade etc.The town itself is charming with everything you need and easy access to the airport, Marbella etc.The apartment is light and spacious and well stocked with everything you need for a stay by the beach. (Maybe a bike in the garage Steve?!!!)I didn't need to call Charlotte this year but she is very close and quickly available if you need help etc.A perfect holiday destination!

The property was in perfect location it was lovely clean modern plenty of room. Plenty cooking utensils bedding, towels. We even had use of sun beds, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. I couldn’t fault it at all . I would recommend the place to any one

A super located apartment in our favourite resort Great views with super veranda to sit out on and watch the world go by The television was a real bonus for an odd few sports programs It far reached our expectations as we had a few problems in the past with property’s in La Cala All we need to do now is book for next year Bill & Estelle

Charming Apartment in La Cala de Mijas

The apartment description is very accurate and couldn’t be located in a better place. Everything is just outside your door; beach, boardwalk, shops, restaurants, cafes, and pubs! All amenities function as they should. My only issue was a temporary issue by the satellite TV provider which had minimal to no impact on my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate in staying in this location and apartment, and I hope I have the opportunity to return!

Great Apartment, Fantastic Location

Having visited La Cala a number of times, we were familiar with the area and the apartment. However, you can never appreciate what a great location the apartment is in until you stay there. Waking up to the view every morning will never fail to impress. Facilities at the apartment was good, communication with Steve from booking to arriving was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Location, location, locaton.

Great sea views from this front line property. Among bars and restaurants. Easy walk to shops, hairdressers and nail bars also tourist office and buses to Marbella and Fuengirola. Keep your cases light as this property is on the second floor with no lift but all as expected once inside.

Perfect location

Cannot fault this property’s location, 2nd floor apartment with balcony facing the beach beside Arab tower in middle of town. Everything you could possibly need is in the apartment plus some beach chairs etc. in garage below apartment. Highly recommend this property for location, view, comfort and amenities. Hope to return in 2025. Great communication with owner Steve who was very helpful. Overall we had an excellent holiday made all the better by this apartment. Thank you.

Location, location, location!

Ideal location on front. Cafes,restaurants, hairdressers, well stocked mini-supermarket and clothes shops adjacent. Tourist office and buses to Marbella and Fuengirola (for Malaga, Mijas Pueblo etc.) 5mins. walk. The single bathroom was ideal for us two adults but may otherwise be limited.

Central to it all in La Cala

Overall this is a great spot overlooking the town square, beach, boardwalk, playground and restaurants. Although the parking appears to be for the apartment complex, it is public parking. It is extremely difficult to find a space, which made it quite difficult to unload/load luggage and groceries. The apartment is also advertised with a washer and dryer,( with these icons ), but in reality it has a washer and a rack to hang your clothes. One bedroom has a double bed (small for even 2 small adults), and the other has two twins on metal frames(more like cots). The location and the balcony, as well as the adequate kitchen, made these other issues easier to accept.

This could be a 5 star place, but it isn't quite there

I've stayed at this apartment multiple times over the years, but for the price now, it's just not good enough. The same scratched toilet seat, the same broken drawers, air con unit not working, tired outside furniture. For the money you're asking now, everything should be perfect. It's in one of the best places in La Cala, and on the whole it's a great place to stay, but please spend a little bit of the money you're raking in to make it better.
