The cottage, with sweeping views across Mount’s Bay, is in a coveted hillside location with access to the South West Coast Path on your doorstep. Porthleven, a bustling and pretty harbour town, holds festivals and events during the year and is a foodie haven with many restaurants along the water, serving an array of local culinary delights. Enjoy a spot of crabbing off the slipway, kayaking within the harbour or rock pooling and bodyboarding at the sandy beach (500 metres). Delve into the local history at the nearby Museum of Cornish Life (2.5 miles).
This gorgeous cottage, one of a trio of similar properties, welcomes you with its inviting ambience. The calming colour tones, natural, textured fabrics, and meticulously curated interiors evoke a sense of tranquillity. Step inside and walk into a spacious open-plan living room. Relax together on a range of snug sofas and armchairs positioned to enjoy the scenic views. Enjoy family movie nights on the Smart TV and pop a log on the wood burner on cooler nights. The kitchen boasts all the necessary appliances to cook up a storm. Downstairs are a family bathroom and four bedrooms: one king-size with an en suite shower room, two king-size and a twin (super-king on request). You can access the terrace through two bedrooms or external steps at the side of the house. Outside you can unwind, rejuvenate on fine days, and enjoy dining alfresco while the sun sets.
There is an abundance of extraordinary attractions to discover. Kynance Cove on the Lizard Peninsula (14.5 miles) is a must-see, with clear turquoise waters and distinctive rock formations. There are activities for all ages at Paradise Park and Jungle Barn (12 miles) with a wildlife sanctuary and play area. The Helford River (8 miles) is a dreamy spot to walk or take a boat to explore this nature-rich estuary.
