Birchington-on-Sea is a charming Victorian seaside town with shops, restaurants and a blue flag beach. Minnis Bay is a partly sandy family beach offering sailing, windsurfing and coastal walking and cycling routes. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy exploring the Viking Coastal Trail which runs from Reculver to Ramsgate and is perfect for a leisurely stroll or bike ride. For those interested in history and culture, head for Margate (4 miles), which has a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, and bars as well as the Turner Contemporary Gallery and the Shell Grotto which features a series of underground tunnels adorned with shell mosaics. Further afield, Broadstairs (7 miles) is well known for its Charles Dickens connections and sandy beaches and within 30 miles there are several castles, stately homes, and gardens, as well as Canterbury Cathedral to explore. There is a railway station with a frequent service to London.
Step inside this charming flint cottage which is ideal for accommodating three adults or a family of two adults and two small children. The living room, decorated with coastal hues and comfort in mind has a sofa, an armchair, and a TV. There is a well-equipped dine in kitchen, perfect for whipping up meals to enjoy together around the table. The modern bathroom is also on the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find two double bedrooms, one of the rooms is more suited to a single adult as the bed is against the wall or it can accommodate two small children. Both rooms have clothes storage.
Heading outside, there is a fully enclosed garden with a patio area with rattan seating and a charcoal BBQ for enjoying outside dining.
