Nestled in the heart of Margate, Hawley Square is an idyllic spot to soak up this seaside town’s vibrant energy. A short stroll leads you to Margate’s Old Town, where historic architecture meets a contemporary art scene bursting with quirky galleries and vintage boutiques. Relax at an array of independent cafés or discover local delicacies in artisan eateries.
Head towards the seafront to encounter golden beaches, perfect for morning walks or sunset strolls, and don’t miss the renowned Turner Contemporary, showcasing rotating exhibitions of modern art. Nearby Dreamland offers nostalgic fairground fun and eclectic events year-round. With convenient access to shops, theatres, and the lively local music scene, Margate truly has something for every taste. Whether you’re exploring hidden gems like the Shell Grotto or simply enjoying the creative buzz of this coastal haven, Hawley Square serves as the perfect base for your Margate adventures.
Prior to arrival, guests will be issued with full check in instructions.
To access the flat, guests are required to walk up four small flights of stairs (38 steps in total) and unfortunately there is not elevator in the building therefore we would not recommend this property for anyone who would struggle with stairs or who requires wheelchair access.
Located on the 2nd floor, Apartment 12 boasts a modern, open spaced kitchen/living area, a generous size double bedroom and bathroom which homes a shower, bath, double basins and toilet.
The Living room has a Smart TV and free access to a super-fast Wi-Fi connection.
The open planned Kitchen/Living room houses an induction hob and oven, a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine and a coffee machine. There is also a stylish breakfast bar which is fantastic for casual dining or to use as a workspace.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for your stay-ideal for when you fancy a night in.
The bedroom homes a king size bed, full lengths mirrors and plenty of hanging space for your clothes.
Getting around is a breeze from Hawley Square. Margate Train Station is just a short walk or quick taxi ride away, offering direct links to London and surrounding towns. Local bus routes and the Loop service connect you to nearby attractions, while taxis and ride-share options are readily available. For drivers, parking can be found on surrounding streets or in nearby public car parks—please note charges or restrictions may apply. This convenient location makes exploring Margate’s beaches, Old Town, and lively cultural scene both easy and enjoyable.
The flat is accessed via a communal door entrance. We ask our guests to respect this and keep noise to a minimum when entering and leaving the building.
