The bedrooms include a king-size with en-suite shower and a twin with en-suite bathroom. To the outside there is a patio with furniture and barbecue, along with off-road parking for 2 cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome however smoking is not allowed. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Within 3.8 miles there is a shop and within 3.9 miles there is a pub. Chestnut is a welcoming abode for a family retreat, whatever time of year.

Take a ride on one of the meticulously restored steam or diesel trains on the South Tynedale Railway, which runs from Alston to Slaggyford, through the breathtaking beauty of the South Tyne valley.
