This 12 years old property available to rent, is part of Royal Palm, in the vicinity of La Bocca and a short drive from Cannes. The apartment has a fantastic view of the bay of Cannes, which is less than 50 m away, as well as overlooking the communal pools. The unit has a large open plan kitchen/communal area, with access to a balcony complete with outdoor table and chairs. Inside, the apartment is outfitted with designer furniture, flat screen TV (with French and international channels), a blu-ray DVD player, as well as wireless broadband access. There are two bedrooms with enough sleeping space for four people, two bathrooms (one en suite with jacuzzi, one with shower cubicle). The unit has air-conditioning and central heating, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. Reserved space for parking is provided.
Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Palm. Lovely well-kept building, pools, and grounds. Walk to the family-friendly sand beach couldn't be shorter where we enjoyed that gorgeous Mediterranean water. Kids loved the beach here. Definitely has a vacation, resort-like feel with the palm trees swaying in the breeze. Bus into Cannes stops just across the street and makes getting around without a car possible. That said, for a family staying for a while, I would recommend having a car for convenience to groceries, bakery, etc. The kiosks serving sandwiches and snacks along the beach walk are very good and convenient. Felt safe walking along the beach walk in the evenings with kids. Apartment is quite spacious with high-end finishes. Breakfast and happy hour on the terrace with that view can't be topped!
The building and apartment are just as advertised: very clean, across the road from a quiet and lovely beach -- and an excellent lunch restaurant, Le Cabanon. The apartment is on the small side, simply and well furnished. The cooking supplies are very basic and didn't inspire us to cook at all, which was fine. It's a little further from Cannes than we had hoped because there's always a good bit of traffic, and there really isn't a boulangerie or any grocery within easy walking distance. We walked to Cannes a few times - it took us close to an hour. The advantage of course is that it's calm and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and are most appreciative of how simple and pleasant the owners and Silvia made it.
Had a lovely time. Great viewâŠlarge balconyâŠcomfy sofasâŠand bedâŠfunctional kitchen but we didnât cookâŠsome very nice restaurants within walking distance and a short driveâŠfrequent buses into Cannes!

Der EigentĂŒmer hat die Wohnung mit sehr viel Liebe auf sehr hohem Niveau ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt und man fĂŒhlt sich rundum pudelwohl. Viel besser geht es eigentlich gar nicht mehr. Einfach fantastisch. Diese Unterkunft eignet sich ausgezeichnet fĂŒr die beste Erholung.
First of all i would like to thank Hans and Maureen for letting us stay at Royal Palm 217 for our two weeks holiday. All communication before the holiday was first rate. The Apartment was true quality in the standard of the furnishings and the cleanliness and not to forget the magnificent view from the balcony. On our arrival we met Silvia, what a wonderful person she is. Silvia explained how things worked and where things were. She then left us to enjoy our holiday. The nearby train station of la bocca was so convienient as we found we did not have to use our cars much.Also a bus service directly outside the complex that took you into Cannes and the other way to Mandelieu-la napoule was also worth it. A trip to the lovely sandy beach took 5mins across the road, what a bonus. We will definitely return in the future.
I want to thank you Hans and his family we got to spent our wonderful summer holiday their beautiful apartment. It was nice to wake up every morning and to see amazing view to the sea. Apartment was brightly, silence and very clean, thanks for that for Silvia.
The whole area with garden and pool in Royal Palm was very clean and beautiful.
Here you can relax and forget about every day life.
Supermarket and boulangerie are 15min distance by walk and 5 min by car.
If want to go shopping all luxury boutiques and other shops are in Cannes, takes only 10-15 min by car.
I recommend this luxury 5 stars property for families, friends and everyone.
Das Appartment ist absolut toll! Einfach empfehlenswert. Hochstehende Wohnung mit allem Luxus. Amerikanische KĂŒche mit Eismaschine. Klimaanlage. Whirlpool. TV/BluRay. Allerdings vorwiegend französische Sender - TV war aber gar nicht nötig: die Umgebung und die Ferienanlage mit 3 Pools lassen kaum Fernsehen zu. 180°-Meerblick. Meer in 2 Gehminuten ĂŒber Strandstrasse erreichbar. Die Wohnung und die ganze Anlage wird tiptop und sauber gehalten. Die Verwalterin ist sehr nett, spricht Deutsch und hat wertvolle Tipps fĂŒr den Aufenthalt in Cannes. Gute Distanz ins Zentrum von Cannes. Nicht mitten drin, damit man ruhig schlafen kann, aber trotzdem kurze Distanz mit dem Auto. FĂŒr Selbstversorger grosser Supermarkt in der NĂ€he. MĂ€nner sollten ihre Frauen nicht alleine in Cannes shoppen lassen. Absolut nette und faire Vermieter. Spannend, da die Vermieter in Singapore leben. Problemlose Zahlungsabwicklung. Wer die Preise in Cannes kennt, weiss, dass es sich hier um ein sehr gutes Preis-/LeistungsverhĂ€ltnis handelt. Mehr will ich nicht schreiben, da die Auslastung der Wohnung ohnehin schon sehr gut ist. Wir werden dieses Jahr zum dritten Mal in Folge unsere Ferien in Royal Palm verbringen - das sagt alles!
This apartment is absolutely perfect for a relaxed week of sun, beach and rose in the south of France. The space is clean, modern with beautiful views over the Bay of Cannes and only 1 minutes walk from a white sandy beach.
This was the second year we had booked and will be booking again in 2013.

We are not dependent on rental income from France, but we are emotionally dependent on having happy guests in our apartments in Royal Palm, who would like to come back to us. Many of them return to us year after year.
There are few two bedroom apartments at Royal Palm, with a superior view of the Bay of Cannes. We were early to select and buy our 3 Royal Palm apartments off plan, more than 12 years ago. This enabled us to buy the most attractive, both internally and externally, with panoramic sea views over the Bay of Cannes.
