Welcome to River Idyll, a Mount Hood escape perched on a bluff overlooking the Sandy River. The tranquil retreat is nestled on more than an acre of wooded estate with direct and private river access. The renovated cabin has a midcentury vibe offering spacious living and riverside amenities including a wrap-around deck, custom 7â cedar hot tub, and fire pit. It is a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern comfort, all within a short drive to diverse year-round activities.
Prepare a special dinner in the newly remodeled, fully equipped kitchen or grill steaks on the gas BBQ on the river-facing deck. Take a relaxing evening soak in the private cedar hot tub surrounded by tall trees and serenaded by the sounds of the flowing Sandy River. There is a quick hike down to the Sandy River for river access.
The River Idyll sleeps up to 8 guests with four bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers one with a king bed and a workspace. Off of the primary bedroom there is a bunk room with a twin and a full bunk bed and another dedicated work space. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a full bed and a queen bed in the other. There is a walkout balcony that connects the upstairs bedrooms.
You will be in a quiet, secluded setting at the River Idyll and just minutes to Mt Hood recreation like hiking, biking, and skiing as well as the grocery store and restaurants. You will be 1/10 mile from the River View Cabin or the Twin Cedars Getaway for larger groups.
