Beautiful brick house with open plan living. Bedrooms and bathrooms are located at the rear of the house.

There is a lovely screened sunroom for those lovely relaxing afternoons. Fully fenced colorbond yard to keep the fur babies safe and sound. Lovely paved area for afternoon drinks or a fire pit at night.

Wifi is provided so that you can stay connected. You can work from here or simply stream to the massive tv in living room!

There is an air conditioner in the main living area for those hot days

There is a great collection of dvds/cds both for adults and kids. Board games for those wet days and a massive tv for those footy games.

A fully equipped kitchen is provided and includes a great fridge with filtered cold water accessible from tap on the door - it also has an ice maker - just scoop out for those cold icy drinks.

Note: If accessible equipment is required - there is a raised toilet seat/shower seat and other accessories. Please enquire
The ensuite shower has rails and handles if you need that extra help. There is also a short ramp at the front door.

We are happy to oblige early check ins and late check outs if their are not incoming/out going guests. Please message!

Home away from home

Very comfortable and clean, this little gem provided exactly what we needed, loved all the extras too. The kids were happy with games and plenty of room. Great for families and pets.

Great Forster stay family & pets

Great stay for our time in Forster. Rachael was great with easy check in. Full yard and sunroom where pets can stay, sleep etc. also great entry from side when coming back and forth to beach, boating etc Couldn’t fault it. Had everything we needed including great BBQ

Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient.

We've stayed in many holiday houses over the years. This was our favourite! From the moment we stepped in we felt like we were home. The place was clean and fresh. Everything was very organised right down to labels on the light switches! There was so much attention to detail to make our stay comfortable: a doggy basket with everything Sofi would need and want for the week, a personalised note of greeting accompanying both people and fur baby snacks, a supply of toilet paper and other essentials, clear instructions regarding property details such as bin night and so much more. The location was convenient for shopping, bushwalking, rock climbing, and restaurants. It was just a short drive to Forster's downtown area and attractions. Every night we were able to watch our beloved dolphins. Thank you, Rachael, for your thoughtful hospitality. We will be back!

A charming holiday home in a quiet neighbourhood

We are 2 families from Sydney stayed at Rachels's charming home, which was exactly as described, from 5th to 7th October 2024. Overall, we all felt we made a right choice to stay at this holiday home, and Tuncurry/Forster itself also offers great natural lake, beaches, and parks and restaurants. We all loved it.

Great location to enjoy the Forster Tuncurry area. Quiet and comfortable, well managed check in. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. The property is neat and clean. Great place to stay.

Home away from home

My husband and I and our little dog stayed in this lovely, homey house that was comfortable, clean and well-organised! There was plenty of yard for our dog to run around in too! We recommend this place, especially dog-lovers! You will also love the friendly neighbourhood area!

Home from home

Very homely. Immaculately clean and very well presented. Perfect for us. Fur baby had a lovely safe garden to run around and there is an indoor/outdoor sunroom with comfy lounge snd doggie bed. Air con in tThe main area was welcome during a very hot and humid weekend. Rachel left essential supplies and more so we felt very welcome.

The Ultimate Home Away from Home

From the moment we drove into the driveway, we knew this property stay was going to be great. Lovely comfortable and clean home catering to disabled/elderly. A lovely “welcome note” and bottle of wine on arrival. Rachael is a fabulous host. Highly recommended.

Wonderful beach escape at Forster

We all had a wonderful week at Ally's Retreat, including our whippet Sketch. We appreciated the welcome goodies on arrival, soaps, shampoo and towels. The dog supplies were much appreciated & we also really appreciated the well equipped kitchen, which had milkshake maker, coffee maker, blender and lots more. It was just like a family home, so when we reached for something, it was there, and you don't always find that in holiday homes. The Wi-Fi was great, two tvs so the teens had their PS4 games while we had a Netflix movie. All in all, a wonderful place to have a home style beach holiday. Thanks

Holidaying with family and furbabies

Lovely family home in a family oriented neighbourhood. Everything was easy. Wonderful bonus being able to have our 4 legged kids with us. Large bedrooms, comfortable lounges and close to everthing. Home had everything you needed.

Fantastic Stay

We had a short but great stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Yard was a good size for our pup, neat and tidy. I loved the sunroom and enjoyed my coffee here each day. Rachael was very helpful and communication with her was excellent. Would love to return one day.

When we walked into your house it felt warm and so welcoming. Had everything supplied that we needed

The property was so clean, tidy and beautiful. It was so nice to come back to the property after being at our sons footy game all day. We had a lovely BBQ and was so nice to relax around the fire place which was supplied and have a few drinks. Just felt like being in our own home. Everything you could possibly think of was supplied. We definitely will be staying there when we visit Forster in the future.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Beautiful sunny home in a quiet neighbourhood. Great fenced back yard for dogs and kids. Great grassy yard with firepit. The sun room is completely screened so you can enjoy the outdoors without the pesky insects.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

A great base for traveling the beautiful Barrington coast. Take a stroll to the local Stocklands (only 1km away), visit the op shops on the way back.
The beach is only 5 min away - take your pooches to One Mile + Cafe which are both dog friendly. Or go to the Main Street (Wharf Street) near the bridge and either grab a bite, have a fish, have a walk or swim in the beautiful lake.

Alternatively, take a drive to the beautiful Pacific Palms. Boomerang and Blueys are also dog friendly (time restricted) and Kembali Cafe has great food and coffee (plus your pooches can come)
