Welcome to the Historic Burns Court Cottages! This 2-bed, 2.5-bath vacation rental in Sarasota provides everything you need for your stay, including both a screened patio and an open patio. Take a walk over to Marie Selby Botanical Gardens or Bayfront Park to enjoy lunch by the ocean, spend your days lounging in the sand at Siesta Key Beach, or go shopping at St. Armands Circle. It’s also just a couple of blocks to downtown, where you can check out restaurants, nightlife, and the farmers market!

Wonderful Historic Home

This beautiful historic house was everything we hoped for. The location makes it perfect to walk to just about anything in downtown Sarasota. The second bedroom is actually a separate cottage which was perfect when our friend came to visit for a few days. It also provided a quiet place to work. Everything is updated and pristine. Attentive owner. We can't wait to stay here next year!

Fantastic!

The house was just perfect! LOVED the location, so close to downtown for anything you need from shopping to restaurants. Love Owens Fish Camp which is just 2 doors down. The hostess was so nice and had many extras in the home with the snacks and beverages in the fridge waiting. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Stay in Burns Square

We loved everything about our stay at this charming Burns Square rental. We could walk to everything downtown Sarasota had to offer. Mira (the host) was very thoughtful and even bought a few goodies that she left for our enjoyment. Thank you for a wonderful time! We will be back!

It’s an adorable house and location is fabulous!! The only downside was 2nd bedroom Was in an outside carriage house, that was not clear to me and my cousin stayed out there seperately

Charming Cottage with Guesthouse in heart of Sarasota

This one bedroom home plus a separate one bedroom guest house was perfect for the two of us plus our golden retriever. My brother and wife visited briefly and had their own separate space. We enjoyed the historic district and all of its charm. 10 minute walk to downtown with many shopping, coffee, bakery, and restaurant options. Home is beautifully decorated with many personal touches. Kitchen was well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would return again.

Wow, what a gem!

This property had so much! It was a great value, feeling like we got to rentals in one. The place is updated, the location is terrific, there is a separate one bedroom unit out back where our two adult children slept. One in the bedroom and one in a pull out love seat. This is one of the BEST VRBO's we have stayed. Location close to the Marina, do the downtown restaurants and the personal touches were meaningful! Stop looking for other options, book it now, but please leave some time for our return. FIVE STAR REVIEW.

Property was nicely updated, well furnished and clean. Close to everything including restaurants and various activities. The second bedroom is in an adjacent building and was too small to accommodate two adults and didn’t have a bedframe. However, it was also clean and well maintained. Our issue was that the advertised outdoor space was virtually unusable. As both the front and back outdoor areas had broken, unstable dirty furniture, as well as trash, numerous broken or damaged pots as well as an inoperable driveway gate. Spent several hours trying to tidy up the area and hose off the furniture In order to enjoy the seemingly inviting space.

Gem in the city

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. Location was perfect...walking distance to downtown restaurants/grocery store, waterfront, Botanical Garden and just about anywhere we wanted to go. The accommodations were comfortable and charming. Our host was very responsive and we loved the welcoming flowers and snacks. The kitchen was well equipped and the courtyard was so relaxing. Can't wait for our next stay.
