Hi Ilene! I super appreciate the feedback. This is my first 3 star review I’ve ever received on any of my properties on any of the booking platforms. I do apologize the reserved private parking space for you, in front of your unit …did not meet your needs nor the optional free off street parking or parking across the street at the park which all 3 options were sent to you in your welcome message. I’ve never heard anyone call the neighborhood “strange looking” before. It’s a very clean & safe downtown neighborhood with multimillion dollar homes including this property. It’s definitely not a stepford wife subdivision setting. The stairs are normal, average code compliant stairs every one uses to get to the second floor that look just like the photos in the listing you looked at when you booked ;). If your travels bring you back to Sarasota in the future, I’m happy to help you choose a different unit without stairs. These units are fantastic for folks who want to travel within a smaller budget as hotels in the same area offering the same accommodation as this unit …go north of $300 and then some.
