Complete Amenities – The main house includes 4 bedrooms, game room/bonus room, 2 full baths and 2 half baths. There is a huge dining room right off the kitchen which includes a large dining room table and a sectional sofa. Off the dining room is the updated, fully equipped kitchen with a double oven, granite counter tops, breakfast bar and all the appliances you'll need to cook a fabulous dinner. Just off the kitchen is the open concept living room with a gas fireplace, 50” flat screen TV w/Cable, and amazing views of the lake and mountains. Right off the living room is a large deck facing the lake, which includes a propane BBQ. You will love the open concept in this home and all the room, plus the fabulous views of the lake and mountains. Furthermore, there is an attached apartment that includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room with 50” flat screen TV w/Cable, gas fireplace, dining room and a private deck with amazing views of the lake and mountains. This beautiful lakefront home offers comfortable sleeping for up to 14 people.

Conveniently Located on the Lake - Not only is this is an exceptional lakefront home with a seasonal dock featuring access to one boat slip, you'll find that you are wonderfully close to everything Big Bear has to offer year round: walking distance to the Village's shops and restaurants, close to Snow Summit for Winter Skiing and Snowboarding, and in summer the Sky Chair. Just around the corner, in summer, you'll find Big Bear Marina and in winter, Alpine Slide opens for Family Winter Snow Play.

6 Comfortable Bedrooms - 6 Baths and Sleeping for up to 14 - The main floor of this home has 4 bedrooms, plus a game room/bonus room and 4 bathrooms. Each of these four bedrooms are located on the main level of this home, so there are no stairs. The master bedroom includes a king sized bed, 40” flat screen TV w/Cable, walk in closet and a master bathroom. There is also access to the deck from the master suite. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have 2 twin beds. The 4th bedroom offers a queen size bed. There is a full bathroom and a ½ bath on the main level for these rooms to share. Upstairs is a bonus room/game room which includes a queen futon sleeper, 50” flat screen TV w/Cable, foosball table, dart board and view of the lake. There is also a ½ bath in this room. The Apartment is located upstairs and has a separate entrance. This is a great place for additional guests and offers all the amenities needed for comfort. There is a family room that over looks the lake and access to a deck. The living room has a gas fireplace, 50" flat screen TV w/Cable and comfortable seating. There is a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee pot. There is also a dining area and breakfast bar. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and a master bathroom. The 2nd bedroom offers 2 twin sized beds and in the hallway is a full bathroom. The apartment will comfortably sleep 4 people.

Location Shines Amid Service and Maintenance Oversights

During my recent stay at 032- Lakefront Village Escape, I found its location undeniably advantageous, offering convenient access to nearby access to the village, lake, and breathtaking views. This, however, was a highlight of an otherwise challenging experience. Regrettably, the property itself seemed in need of significant attention and maintenance. Several essential amenities, including the dishwasher, ice maker/leaking fridge, trash compactor, gas range (only 2 of 5 ranges worked), fireplace in the upper unit not functioning (requiring wood supplied by maintenance), and heater, were not functioning properly during my stay. Additionally, there was a continuous issue with the running toilet, which added to the discomfort. What compounded these inconveniences was the level of customer service encountered. The response to our concerns, particularly from the front desk, lacked the empathy and professionalism one would expect. The staff's approach felt dismissive, which did not align with the hospitality standards that ensure a welcoming and comfortable stay for guests. While I recognize the potential of lakefront property due to its stellar location, my experience underscores a pressing need for property maintenance and customer service improvements. A more proactive and guest-focused approach could enhance the overall experience, making it a place where guests appreciate the location and feel valued and well-cared for.

Beautiful View on the Lake

The place was the perfect accommodation for me and my friends just wanting to have a relaxing few days in the mountains. There was so much space for all of us and the house was even closer to the water than expected. We were able to walk out to our own little pier. The house was walkable to the village which made going out very easy.

Lake House

The House was in a great location, walking distance to the Village, restaurants, entertainment, Marina, and had a great view of the lake, it was a large area for a family gathering. There was issues with our stay, The owner locked the air conditioning, so it could not be used, we had to spray for ants, and spiders, one guest was bitten by a spider. A couple of bathrooms the water pressure was poor, the house needed a deep cleaning, spider webs were massive outside. The washer was broken. A few maintenance corrections and this place would be very comfortable.

Lake getaway big bear

The location is the best thing going for this property at one time I’m sure this was a beautiful property. This property needs a little TLC. The washer dryer. Both broke, looks for sometime. We where only told a few days before coming into the property. It’s a very large property and I don’t believe it’s being clean properly. The beds were comfortable, but the linens in some of the rooms were dirty and I had brought my own linen. Thank goodness! The upstairs apartment is very nice and it is great to have a little separation with a large group, air conditioner worked upstairs, but not downstairs so in the summer the rooms are very hot , I did call for a fan and they did bring me one. There was one in the property already. We weren’t able to sleep up in the game room where the extra room was due to the heat. cobwebs totally covered the whole back part of the property. Mold in the master bathroom was noted and no screen on windows, so bugs came into the BR if you want to get fresh air. The kitchen did have everything you need to cook. It also needs TLC, the pans were all burnt and very hard to cook with and the stove had to be lit with a lighter in order to make it turn on. Overall the location is the best thing about this property. I think that if just a little TLC was applied to the interior, this would be a superior property. Over all we had a great time in big bear and being on the Lake was wonderful.
