The Twin Cabs are each a 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom unit, with a sofa sleeper in the living room, comfortably sleeping 4 people (total 8 people). A small kitchenette is in each unit that provides all essential cooking utensils. Enjoy a refreshing cup of complimentary coffee on the back porch. We loved our stay at the Twin Cabs! We found this great spot on our mini vacay near San Diego. The location is peaceful and quiet and very private. The pool and jacuzzi are great, property is clean and well maintained. San Diego is less than an hour away and Oceanside was about 30 minutes away. We will stay here again when we visit the area again!
My family and I were in town for a wedding and needed something more than some hotel rooms since we had a toddler and a baby. It worked out great. My brother and his family stayed in the upper house for easy access with the stroller and had their own privacy. Would book again!
Our family wanted to stay by the pool and was disappointed we had to disrupt our time spent there to attend a wedding which was the purpose of our trip! We agreed we would all return for a more relaxed vacation.
We enjoyed the property and use of the pool and pickle ball court. The accommodations were comfortable. We all did comment that the coffee options should have been higher quality for a 5-star place-you need your good coffee after hours of wine tasting đ.
Up stairs unit is cute and as discribed. The lower unit was over run by ants in the kitchen and fridge, the bed was made with just a bottom sheet no top sheet. So washed the sheet in the cupboard and made the bed myself. I did not reach out to the property mgmt as I was there for such a short stay so just handled it myself.
We visited from Sept 7-14 with our 2 children and my wife's parents. Our stay here was fantastic, the kids loved playing in the pool and lounging in the spa the most. It was great to have two separate homes so we had that privacy at night time. During the day we went and did excursions for the boys such as seaworld, the zoo, and legoland and upon return it was all about the pool . My only suggestion would be that they need some more lighting during the night. The sun goes down quiet early about 7PM and I know it is quite time at 945PM, it would be nice if the motion sensor lighting would stay on all the time until then. All in all we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
We found the place in very bad condition. A lot spiderwebs, beds mess up, restrooms dirty, place was not cleaned and ready for us. We lost time and money going there for nothing. We could not stay because the units were dirty.
Very disappointed with the administrator.
It was a cute property but we had some issues getting into the property. We ended up sitting outside for over an hour on Thanksgiving before we were able to reach someone for help. Once we got a hold of the property manager everything was fine and they had a good excuse (it was Thanksgiving) but it put a crimp in our Thanksgiving plans.
Attended a family wedding at a venue in Fallbrook. Location was very convenient. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the pool and spa. Area is super quiet and super dark after sunset. Large grass area that was good for our dog.
Our family needed a place to stay for a few days while in the process of moving from Missouri to Southern California. This place worked perfectly for us & our two boys! We were actually amazed at how lovely & big & private the property was...the photos really do not do it justice! The setup is a little unusual in that there are two separate "apartments" (basically the upstairs & downstairs of a cottage that is in the backyard of a bigger home), but they do not connect internally. Each has it's own outside entrance - so it may not work well for a family with younger kids - but our boys are 15 & 10, so they loved feeling a little taste of "independence" and my husband & I also did not mind the quiet time at night. Both places are well equipped with a small kitchen, laundry room, full bath, bedroom & family room with a pullout couch. But the best part was the property itself. It's at the end of a quiet residential lane within a beautiful & quiet neighborhood. The pool area is secluded & absolutely lovely, with plenty of room for the kids to jump/dive in the deep end & also a heated spa to warm up in. Then you could go back behind the property & down a set of stairs to find a private pickleball court! My husband & I had so much fun with this...we played multiple times a day during our stay (we brought our equipment). We also enjoyed walking around the beautiful community. Never saw anyone in the main house. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet oasis to escape to!
Beautiful part of Fallbrook, close to the fwy. Loved the grounds, all the plants, the pool and jacuzzi and pickle ball courts were fun. Nice furniture and artwork, clean, neat and classic. Both units were bright and airy. Loved our stay here for a wedding up in Menifee.
